Urgently needed new front tyres and they fitted me in. Welcomed and given clear cut parking instructions.
Explained clearly and kindly what needed doing to my back brakes and recommended time scale.

It was an emergency
It was an emergency - flat tyre caused by potholes in road!
I was treated with courtesy and friendliness, and a new tyre was fitted with all the attendant checks while I waited

Staff always very friendly and accommodating, offering advice when needed. Good selection of tyres in stock.

Booked an appointment for 10am and was…
Booked an appointment for 10am and was advised to arrive early which I did. The two men greeted me with minimum eye contact and grunted that my wheel alignment would take between 3 to 4 hours. When I pointed out I was advised to arrive promptly to make sure I didn't lose my alloted slot one of the men sarcastically said to the other man "funny how they think we have a thousand ramps". When I said I had other arrangements later that day and I couldn't wait that long they shrugged and said "your wheel alignment was free so what did I expect. I said I couldn't wait that long and declined another appointment. They couldn't care less and sarcastically wished me a nice day and as I walked out one of them made a further sarcastic comment.

Always so courteous and friendly. As well as giving genuinely helpful advice. Not just trying to sell the most expensive option like some other companies.

Came to our rescue after hitting a pothole
We suffered a tyre failure from a massive pothole on our way to a holiday cottage in Devon and Protyre Barnstable was recommended as the closest to us by the cottage owners. We went in the following morning and were expertly looked after by Martyn and Will you checked everything over, gave us a few budget options and then replaced the tyre in no time at all! After the initial stress of the situation they helped us get back in to holiday mode so big thanks to them!!
