Lovely knives, but their mistake cost us time and money
We bought a set of eight knives with a block from ProCook at Ashford Designer Outlet. When we got home, we discovered we’d been given a block that only held five knives.
We called the store and they apologised, but the only solution offered was for us to take it to the Eastbourne branch ourselves. That meant paying for a return drive to correct a mistake we hadn’t made. To add to the hassle, the Eastbourne store had moved and its address hadn’t been updated, so we had trouble finding it.
The staff exchanged the block, but there was no offer to cover the cost of the journey or make a gesture of goodwill. We love the knives, but the customer service was disappointing.
