Primethorpe Paving Anmeldelser 

Bought a small amount of Indian Sandstone to finish off a large job, one of the large slabs arrived in its packaging broken.
Took photos and sent to the company instantly, only to be told, "this can happen" and that the order I placed was under the threshold for any sort of resolution......SHOCKING service, it shouldnt matter if I bought 1 or 100 slabs, a broken slab is not acceptable, and how do I know it wasnt already broken when packaged??
So, lets just say I will not be using this company again, and have already shared my experience with others

Updated following response - As you can see the company have made no attempt at offering and solution or refund for the broken slab, in fact, their solution is that I should spend more with them to protect myself against any breaks, although that means that I would end up with surplus and who’s to say they all don’t come damaged……..such poor customer service, whereas a simple apology and offer of a partial refund would have been enough

Ordered Indian Sandstone in Autumn Brown. Order process was simple and easy to navigate on the website. The delivery came as booked. Indian Sandstone was perfect. Only quibble was the price of the delivery charge as local thought the price of that was very expensive.

Display area nicely laid out with plenty of choice. Very helpful staff, not pushy. I had lots of questions, all were answered clearly helping us to make decision on which paving to buy. We ordered the Quartz white paving which was delivered on time, no problems.
Minus point - the access road to their premises could definitely do with re-surfacing!

Only place I could find that cut slate to order and then didn't charge more than the slate for delivery. Very happy with the lovely piece I ordered and size is, of course, perfect 👌

I ordered some cobblestone setts from here and had a discount as a new customer. Shortly after placing the order, I had an email offering a bigger discount. The lady I spoke to initially, was great as was the next person I spoke to. The delivery was made quickly and I got the best discount for it. The delivery was brilliant as the driver put the pallet up the drive to the best place for us and really was super. The cobble setts are fabulous, hence as I ordered more than needed, have extended the project to include not just a “Pathio” but also a border around a circular flower bed but also another small “Pathio”. The setts are super which lots of different colours just as I wanted. I recommend this company and would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Product was just as described in the website - a pallet of natural stone cobbles. Delivered efficiently as promised. Price was competitive for a relatively small order. Good experience all round. Would use Primethorpe Paving again without hesitation.

Unlike many other places, Primethorpe paving allowed me to get a mixture of sized patio slabs without buying a bulk amount. A perfect amount for what I needed. I am aiming to make my patio bigger over time and definitely will be buying the remaining slabs from Primethorpe. Please just keep the grey Indian sandstone in stock.

My second purchase from Primethorpe. I find the website very detailed and the calculator is easy to use and adjust. Easy to order and price is very fair by comparison. Delivery has been quick in my experience and yes, you pay for delivery but given where the goods come from and that it is pallet delivery using a motorised pallet truck meaning they can be dropped where you need them I'd say the delivery charge is well worth it.
Recommended.

Wouldn't refund for 1 of the 3 coping stones that were delivered broken. Don't offer refunds for items damaged in transit under £100 so think twice if you are only making a small order and have any expectation that broken items should be compensated. Don't offer refunds directly from the company only via the courier company who apparently insist on collecting the broken items (which is a complete waste of time and money, surely). Ignored my request to put me in touch with the courier company to dispute this. Unhelpful and rude customer service.

The coping stones looked as expected from the online images and look great in the garden. On arrival for collection, service was friendly and speedy.
