They're super professional and nice

They're super professional and nice. They've been making jewelry for over 70 years, so you know they're good. Their stuff is definitely top-notch. Plus, they have two stores that sell Rolexes, and they get models that are hard to find anywhere else, even in the US or Europe.

Wonderful Experience

My partner loves watches, and when I saw him looking at a Hublot I decided it would be a perfect early Christmas present. I'm so glad we decided to buy his watch here - it was such a lovely experience! The shop owner and his assistant were so patient and helpful, and even treated us to a bottle of bubbles to celebrate our purchase. We felt very confident in our purchase, and they were also kind enough to explain how we recover our VAT at the airport. We actually went back to say goodbye to our new friends on our last day! My partner adores the watch, and every time we look at it we have a lovely remembrance of our time in Santorini and all the wonderful people we met.

Fira shop in Santorini … I see a Rolex…

Fira shop in Santorini … I see a Rolex watch Wimbledon 36 mm available and everything was perfect with the seller called Yanis and we had a deal but it was late 11 pm so he told me to come back tomorrow at 11 am that’s mean today morning. I go there and Mr Yanis told me he can’t sell it with a TAX return because the watch is now only for local market. 😉 than he explain me that if I want this watch with a tax refund I must buy a jewelry on his shop and he explain me how they’re after that …he can give me a good discount on his jewelry I saw a ring for 14,000€ and he give me discount 8400€ with 24% of vat return if I buy this ring he will give me the watch 🤓🤓with the Tax refund of 15% that’s mean the local Market becames international market after buying in his shop !!!!!!! Really I’m very désappointes about what’s happened

Scammer everywhere !!!!
The deal supposed to be very simple!! Now you know if you want a watch from this shop you must buy jewelry !!!!

I wish we never walked into this place.

The cornerstone of any retail business especially a business that sells luxury products such as £5K+ a piece jewellery should be to offer respect and courtesy to their perspective customers. Businesses whose culture fosters judging customers by their colour, race, ethnicity and how they look don't last long. Our experience of less than 10 minutes in this shop was the only unpleasant experience of our 6 days in Santorini. I wish we never walked into this place.

It started with my 11 year old son walking into this shop in Oia asking us to follow him as he knew my wife wanted to buy a ring for sometime so he wanted us all to go in. Within a few seconds he came out the shop with a sad face, as this shop assistant sitting on a chair right in front of the entrance of the shop sent him out telling he could not enter without his parents. Fair enough for them but we were a little perplexed why would that be, even when the woman did see us outside the shop following our son.

We went in anyway as my son really wanted us to go in so his mum can look and buy something she likes.

By the expressions on this Shop Assistant’s face, we felt we were not welcomed, and this shop assistant looked like she was in some kind of panic! Instantly she made us feel extremely uncomfortable.
She was more interested in keeping an eye on all four of us (though my wife, my daughter, and I were all standing at the same place and my son started to walk to another display to see what was there), She literally ran towards him to ask him to come and stand near us and ask us to keep my son close to us. She said to us "it’s her shop so it’s her rules!" This made us feel leave immediately, but with our typical British politeness, we stayed and looked at the Jewellery (The shop assistant finally let us do that).

I asked her the price of a ring; she instead went to close that main entrance and asked us if it was okay to close the entrance! Off course I said. Why was she doing it was beyond me - I feel so disgusted even by the thought of that she may be doing all that nonsense thinking we may run away with the Jewellery - all the locked away Jewellery that was apparently locked in alarmed display units. She did make us aware all display units were alarmed. - the information we didn’t need. (She still probably thought we would run away with my 11 year son, daughter, and wife).

Anyway, rather than telling me the price, she took the ring out and asked me if I wanted to sit down to look at it. By this time, I was not only annoyed but thoroughly disgusted by the way she conducted herself seemingly serving a customer (who could potentially spend in excess of £5K), but actually judging us - a family of four - to some nuisance. So, I refused to sit down, firmly, and asked her to do her actual job - give us information about price, construction etc. The price she told me started with a massive 30% discount word! she was like, "price after discount was such and such", and I was thinking, being in sales all my life, this was the worst start of a selling pitch to sell a luxury item. I hope this woman was a fresh staff who needed a lot of training in customer service and product knowledge, and not any of their experienced staff member.

I asked if they provide certificate of authenticity of their diamonds etc, and the response was the diamond was such and such carats in gold of such and such carats... she did not give the answer of how they would prove the authenticity of their gems. She then mentioned the 24% VAT refund as we were from the UK. Nowhere she bothered to ask what the ring was for, a special occasion or an anniversary etc. - nothing of that sort. She was so focused to talk about the discounts, tax rebate etc.

Every vibe in this place made me think surely this business is a cultural of "judging people who walk into their shops". If the customer fits their age, racial, and relationship profile, then get off the seat and offer some help. If one doesn't fit their profile then simply make them feel disgusted so they can leave asap.

My wife, while keeping her calm, did sit down and tried the ring but didn't like it (Thank God she didn't), and we left as soon we could. This experience left us a bad taste for otherwise a memorable and pleasant time in Santorini.

If the owners of this business read this review, my honest and humble suggestion for them is to remove their shops from public places and run the business as appointment only from some private places, where they vet any potential customer financially and the way they look first and if the customer fit their profile then offer them appointments - ideally paid appointments and some sort of a surety bond that the customer will definitely buy at appointments. what a shame.
