I was quoted £99+VAT per hour for plumbing services for a stopcock to be replaced. Based on this i booked them 2 days in advance as the main water pipe for the whole building had to be stopped. I was assured the plumber will be there on time on Thursday morning between 8-9am at the time of booking. The company called me on Wednesday evening at 8pm to tell me that the plumber cannot be in the flat until 12 noon. I explained that this is too late as its Wednesday evening and the main water will be shut in the morning as we previously agreed. The plumber arrived in the morning and said its going to cost £600+VAT. He took 2 hours to do the job. I had to pay this as I didn't have another option, but I will NEVER use them again.

I contacted Barking Gas and Plumbing Solutions, who trade under different names including Plumbers4U, All Service 4U Ltd, to check a couple of problems, which were low pressure in my shower and a pipe leak. A person called David said that their success rate is over 90% so went along with that. A guy called Christian came the following day, he couldn't do much and was saying he's not sure, maybe airlock so may need powerflushing and when I said to check a problem with leak he refused as he said I will get charged a lot and will not be good for me. He even broke my kitchen drawer which he initially refused to fix but then did it. I was charged £89+VAT for no work done. I called up the office for a report, but was not given. I called again and my number was blocked. I happened to get hold of another number and was engaged so I got a call back. The person was very rude and telling me why am I complaining over £89 and I asked for his name, he initially refused before confirming his name is Eliott. I asked for a report and said OK. I still did not receive it. Then I asked Christian to give me a report and said he'll let the office know. I still did not get a report. I urge people not to use their services, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Attendance was 3 hrs late... Price too high for time on site.

Really prompt service. The plumbing engineer was really swift in fixing our issue which took him less than 30 minutes to sort. He also explained the problem to us - regarding pipes, blockages and why this may keep occurring in the future.

We really appreciated his quick action, knowledge and for talking us through the problem once it was resolved.

I would highly recommend these guys as true professionals!

The 2 guys were very nice that turned up, but because they were self employed they told me that they couldn’t fix the leak because they can’t afford the tools and that they couldn’t take off the tiles to really investigate the leak, and that I should call
Someone else. That cost me £118.
They left and I was left with a leak a 14 week old baby and no idea if they were coming back or not.
Anyway I contacted the company explained the issue and they fully refunded me

Awful terrible experience - AVOID!
brusque plumber arrived who was very rude & more interested in his illegally parked car - used a monkey wrench to turn off my water, had no parts to complete the repairs on 2 showers.
Spent 7 mins in my home & did not properly advise me on what parts I needed to order to fix the problem.
Stood at my door demanding quick payment of £120.00!! No follow up advice.
This is pure ROBBERY

The guys were excellent. The washing machine is working perfectly.

Efficient, incredibly polite and friendly technician and worked as hard as he could to get everything done in an hour. Very good value would definitely use again.

Not clear on pricing
Eicr should be around 1-1.5hrs
Was charged for 3hrs when same property was tested 4m ago within an HR for a fee of £129 Inc vat.
Pricing per HR quoted also varies from £99 to £85 depending on who picks up the call.
Work is also never completed on the day even if simple I suspect to attract another hrs labour charge.

Having just left my review , I read the others and it seems like I am not the only one who has had a bad experience.

We used this company to fix small leak upstairs in our new bathroom.
they sent a plumber that didn't know or have a clue of what he was doing. he must had cut the pipe without isolating the water first.
the water was coming from all over the ceiling light in our kitchen causing a huge damage to the ceiling, walls and my new furniture.
plumber was calling the company to get help on the phone. the water was leaking all over downstairs caused our light to switch off.
I had to take my wife and kids out of the house. what a disaster.
luck of competence. they have no experience what so ever and still insisted to charge us for the disaster and they've wanted to charge us for the call out.
now i am facing over £8000 worth of repairs.
this Company is ripoff.

be very carful who you dealing with.

The plumber left the hot water tap handle at a different angle to the cold water tap handle. I had to get another plumber to fix it. It took him just a minute to put it back to the original positions.

Communication is poor - not a clue what was going on. Called on Monday saying no not water, no idea what was going on and completed job at 1800 on Friday. Called every day and was told, “I’ll get back to you”…kept waiting

My ancient (now trendy) toilet had sprung a leak. The plumber came within 2-3 hours (as I was informed he would) and immediately set to work. He identified the source of the leak and fixed it quickly. Whilst he was there he kindly fitted an isolating value on the water inlet pipe and attempted to unblock it (another separate problem). He was very good at his work and it was clear that he had years of experience.

Had. Leak in my kitchen ceiling from upstairs bathroom. Plumber came in turned up the water pressure on the boiler then walk away. Charged £120. Had to get another plumber in to fix it the leak and I was coming from a totally different place.

Told drains had been cleared, all was fine.
One hour later,exactly the same problem. Told I had to rebook to have fixed, even though we'd just paid. Guy came back, "fixed it" again. Day later same problem.

Got ourselves a plumber who did what we'd asked - disconnect actual / visible drain pipe and unclogged the problem - years of mess blocking everything.

Really disappointed in the customer care service. The plumber arrived in the allotted time frame. During the time he fitted the drink filter tap he broke the valve. He said he would be able to replace it with one he has in the office. He left and returned with nothing and said the size valve are too large for my filter tap. He told me to return the tap and report it as faulty. I placed an order for a new one and at a later time in the day I brought the old valve, pipe and clamp back and stated what he had said to which the company I purchased the tap from said it was not faulty it had been damaged.

The new tap arrived a few days later so I called the plumber to arrange a day to finish fitting the tap. I told him that the company had told me it was damaged and not faulty to which he had denied he had broke the valve. Then on the day he was suppose to finish fitting the tap between the arranged hours of 12pm-5pm he did not show. I called him after 5pm to see if he was onroute and he told me he had forgotten and we rearrange for the next day at 9am. At 09:05 he was not here so I message him asking if he will arrive before 11am. He said yes 9:30am he will arrive, the GPS is saying he is 24minutes away and there was traffic, at 10am he still hadn't arrived. So I called and there was no answer. It was now 6pm so I called the main office asking about his whereabouts and they said they need to contact him and they will let me know. I had no response from anyone or any update on what was going on so I called yet again on the next day to which I was told. The plumber is unwell and they would need to investigate the case further when they get a chance to speak to him. That was Friday late morning it is now Monday and all I got was a message from the plumber saying sorry I went home because I was ill three days later. I feel as if I have been messed about and the customer communication was poor. I paid full price for a half finished filter tap fitting that I did not damage, a second filter tap because the valve wasn't sold individually and they wanted to charge again for the tap to be finished. In the end it turned out to be a very expenses service, unsatisfactory and I am incredibly disappointed.

Needed a local plumber. Good service from Plumber who finally arrived but turning up at 2:30pm after a booking slot of 8am-12pm was not impressive. All they had to do was phone me to say they were running late. No calls received. I had to chase twice as I was waiting at home all day. More communication please!!!! People don’t mind if you’re going to be late. Just please please please tell them. Good old customer service can go a long way.
