The worst experience I’ve ever had…
The worst experience I’ve ever had ordering online. I ordered for a birthday present (so time sensitive) then got the following from Beth:
“I'm just reaching out because I can see you've placed an order for these two lunchboxes but they unfortunately are both on pre-order so can't be sent today. My supplier is currently moving warehouse so I'm expecting the stock next week.”
It took over a month to then ship! With no further notification.
This kind of crap really annoys me. People see eco stuff as less reliable and this kind of poor service only further hammers that home. Beth is clearly doing more harm than good for the eco cause. I will never shop with them again.

Hey Tim,
I can not apologise enough about this being so late. I did actually send this out to you as promised but for some strange reason your order came back to me with Royal Mail as the label was completely ripped and could never be scanned.
I went back through my orders to see who had ordered these two items as there was no indication on the parcel and re-sent this out to you.
If I had heard from you sooner about the missing order I would have sent this right away but due to it now only coming back to me weeks after sending it I just got it straight out to you then.
I was going to follow this up with an email today as I was completely swamped on Friday but I can see you've already written some pretty hurtful reviews for me.
This has almost never happened in my 8 years of running the business and believe me if this is the way every order went I certainly would not be in business when most eco stores have already shut down.
I have emailed and await a response to sort this out for you as sometimes things happen outside of my control but I will always do what I can to make it up to someone.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Issues with Baggu orders
Had a disappointing first experience ordering x3 baggu reusable's. I was unaware that PF was a drop ship site which compounded the issue, however unfortunately there were back to back customer service errors with the company.
I was initially sent two items within the expected timeframe and with lovely eco packaging, however one item was an incorrect colour. Upon flagging it I quickly received an apology, promise to dispatch the correct item and a voucher to make up for the error so I was happy it was being rectified. Unfortunately the voucher was never sent and the correct item not dispatched. I chased this the following week, where I was advised this was due to having a "busy day" and it being missed by mistake. The item then took a further five days to arrive.
The third item, which was available to order initially, was out of stock for PF to drop ship and so I had to choose an alternative product.
For only one of three items to turn up correctly and in a timely manner, and having to chase multiple times to rectify, means I would probably choose to shop elsewhere in future. However, other customers may have more success with products that are held in stock by PF and this issue may be isolated to Baggu brand items!

I'm really sorry you weren't happy with the service here. Just FYI we are not a dropship site, we have a unit in Newquay Cornwall where we send all of our orders.
With Baggu we hold quite a lot of stock here but due to the vast amount of colours available I want to be able to offer these to all customers so order every day from Baggu to keep my stock topped up. I also get all of their new collections a week before they launch in the USA.
With the particular issues with your order I do apologise for the hassle with the different colours but when swapping to a different one if I don't have it in stock I then have to order this in and on the odd occasion there is a slight delay with a delivery, it can take a few more days.
I have set up an auto response on my emails to make people aware that I am a one-woman band packing orders so my replies may not be instant but I normally do get back to every reply multiple times a day.
On this experience it's not good enough so I have reached out to get more details from you so I can check the credit on your account as this was added but there was a recent change in the system so this now displays at checkout automatically which may be why you are missing your voucher.
Again I hope you choose to shop with us again and hopefully see that I do everything I can to resolve issues quickly and I hope you love your Baggu items!

I was quite sad to have read this review. Yes I do offer pre-order products as I've been running my business for nearly 8 years now and as I've gathered quite an amazing eco customer base, they don't mind waiting to have items shipped together to save waste.
As I order from a lot of small brands quite often they are making my next batch before it sells out - I try to keep everything in stock as best as I can but this can sometimes happen.
I do display this before the add to basket button on every single item so everyone gets an exact timeline of when the item is due to arrive and when their order will ship, with notes along the entire process and I email everyone to keep them up to date.
I've not had an issue with this in the past so I'm hoping this was just missed and hopefully you will understand my ethos and decide to shop with me again in the future.

Received a faulty item
Received a faulty item. Returned the item. The item has been received and I still have not received my refund. It’s been almost a month. I’ve reached out and I still have not received a response regarding my return.

The item you returned was refunded in full. The moment I received the return request I reached out to you. Then the moment the hat arrived back with me I also followed up asking why the item was faulty as it was in perfect condition as I thought maybe I had missed something.
I received no response so processed the refund.
For those reading reviews on companies I do urge you to check the reviewer also as the reviews left can be very telling and damaging to small businesses who have done nothing but try and provide the best service.

The absolute best customer service
I cannot rate Plastic Freedom highly enough. I was worried my package wouldn't arrive on time for my trip so I wrote in. Beth wrote back right away, reassured me and went the extra mile to make sure everything would arrive on time.
