We use Pho Cardiff regularly and can only praise the staff there. My wife is veggie and coeliac and they always ask and manage her situation excellently. Admittedly a large proportion of the menu is g... Se mere

Ate here when I was visiting london on a quick trip. Food was great but the staff were not as responsive as I would have wanted. Nonetheless, fair prices
I came and tried 2 noodle soups and returned both cause they were way too salty and nothing like the dishes I had in Vietnam, not authentic. They also run by white British who trying to steal the word... Se mere

Rude, surly waitress
We were a party of 5 who visited Pho in Cheltenham last night (Friday 31st March) for the first time and it will certainly be my last time due to the rude, surly waitress who took our payment at the end. This girl is about 20, short fairish hair, and short.
She had a poor attitude the moment she approached the table. When we asked to pay individually she rolled her eyes. Yes, that's correct - she rolled her eyes. She made it very clear she was put out by this suggestion and said, condescendingly, "right, and do you know how you're going to work this out!" I was gobsmacked. One of our party explained that the cost for the meals were itemised on the bill that she had given us so it was very easy to work out. She then made a sarcastic remark about how we would work out the drinks. Well, it's really not that difficult. You add them up!
After this uncomfortable exchange, we left a generous tip which we wanted to be given to the original waitress who had served us all evening. This waitress was polite, professional and friendly. However, not a second later Miss Surly walked back to the table, grabbed the tips and walked off without a word of thanks.
Absolutely appalling attitude and treatment of perfectly polite, reasonable customers. I did tell another member of staff about how rude she had been and she apologised on her behalf but she shouldn't have had to - the waitress should have been made aware of her actions and told to apologise to us. If Miss Surly were on my staff (I have worked in catering / hospitality for many years), she would be on a final warning after that performance.
Have eaten here for years
Have eaten here for years, really enjoyed, nice staff and atmosphere in each venue. One issue is that the portions have become noticeably smaller recently but assume that's just cost of goods, etc causing an issue
We don’t just to Pho in Oxford for the food anymore
We don’t just to Pho in Oxford for the food anymore (which is absolutely delicious) but also for Justyna.
Justyna goes above and beyond for her customers and makes the experience of eating at Pho so enjoyable, she remembers her customers personally and makes you feel special every time you walk in.
We went on a Friday evening when it was very busy and she recognised us whilst working on the pass, she asked the waiter to check something on my order as she noticed I didn’t ask for something to be removed which I normally always do, and she was right, I had forgotten to ask!
She also then sent over some Lemongrass Chilli oil as a gift which she knows is my favourite.
It’s the little things that make a difference and they really did.
Her team were equally friendly, attentive and happy to help.
Abysmal
PHO-Kingston on Thames: Abysmal. Never have I had a click and collect on time. Always left waiting with apologetic staff who have no clue. I'm sat here in the cafe waiting 30 mins over the allotted collection time and all I've been offered is a glass of water. Just calculated I've spent well over £1000 in the place since it opened, but alas not a penny more.
Bland and tasteless.
Visited Exeter Pho on Saturday, very disappointed, didn't start well, the server yawned whilst taking our orders, starters arrived which were ok but the main course took ages, and plates were left on the table. Eventually main courses arrived, we had to juggle to make space, the waitress then started to clear away.
Both mains were incorrect, I ordered Wok fried noodles : phở xào which was so bland and pale, it was frankly horrible. However, my wife, ordered a vegetarian dish and was brought a soup with chicken and beef.
When I gave feedback to the waiter at the end, he agreed with me that the Wok fried noodles: phở xào is poor, not sure why it's called fried Noodles, not convinced it saw a wok at all.
Try Vietnamese food! it's so good!
We went to Pho in Hockley Nottingham.I had never eaten Vietnamese food before. The food was excellent, the staff were brilliant, we are both vegan and the menu was clear and easily met our requirements. We were both surprised and delighted at the flavours.
Visited this afternoon(2 july) and…
Visited this afternoon(2 july) and didn't appreciate patronizing and conceited waiter.
Wasn't until viewing bill later that I realised I was charged for this 'service'.
Feel aggrieved enough to comment as was never informed that the service charge was optional and think it a cheap sleight of hand.Would definitely not have paid this had I been given the option.
The food was reasonable but won't be visiting again.
Really really yummy food
Really really yummy food. Only ever had it delivered but always great and tasty. Fresh and really good portions
They deliver whatever can’t be sold in store to you if you ordered a delivery
Ordered on Deliveroo in Oxford. They gave me a glass of still water with a defective cap which is impossible to open. I had to use a key to break the cap. I was wondering if they gave me this bottle of water on purpose because I can tell from the appearance that someone tried to open the bottle cap.
Bad service
Went to portmouth one service was so bad waited 30 minutes to be seated then another 30 minutes to get our starter then another 30 mins to get our main. Each time I had to get up to ask for my order I even had to get up to get cutlery . People next to us got starters at the same time as mains .there was more staff then customers all doing nothing. Our waiter was very angry and could not even say thank you or bye when we paid won't be going back
Brilliant
Absolutely brilliant place to eat where the food is always fresh, tasty and the staff are happy to help. I have been to several branches and whilst the one in Bristol can be very hit and miss especially their delivery service due to a high demand from deliveroo, the one in Exeter is phenomenal. The staff are so kind, friendly and always happy to see you if you're a regular. They're also very accommodating and happy to help with any requests + always ask about allergies even if they know you don't have any. The food in exeter is wonderful and the chefs really do have it down to a fine art. The mushroom pho especially is always sublime as is the vegan this isn't curry. We have had one lacklustre experience here from the takeaway during the pandemic but it was very very quickly rectified by an amazing manager who went out of his way to make sure things were put right which was very kind and generous and actually made us like the place more. If you want a flavourful and healthy meal then Pho is the place to go as it really is PHOnominal.
The food is incredible
The food is incredible, absolutely delicious. The most important thing is nearly all meals are gluten free and they are Celiac UK accredited, I have found it so hard to find a takeaway that caters for celiacs. I will definitely be ordering again!
Good food & quality consistent
Really good Pho and summer rolls. I regularly do a click and collect and I've never been disappointed. Portions are good, quality consistent (Exeter). I also went a while ago to the one in Cambridge and it was good too.
The click and collect system is well done.
