Bracelets are easy to wear and I’ve not been bitten since wearing them. I’ve recommended them to friends.

They do look great and I can affirm no skin irritation caused by these bracelets. However... That's where the positive comments end. In terms of keeping wee beasties away and preventing insect bites I would have to describe the product as totally redundant. Even fresh out of the packet, insects were still munching away and includes bites sustained within 1cm of the bracelet!
As a family, we were doubling up and wearing them on ankles and wrists from the moment we arrived at our destination, replacing after a couple of days (despite the 300 hour claim). Sadly, even this wasn't enough and I'm afraid our experience of this product is very much one of style over substance.

We have used these bands for a few years now following a holiday without them when my husband had in excess of 100 bites on his legs. Since using them he has not been bitten and for the next holiday we have ordered the new non tie bands as I think they will be easier to put on wouldn’t go on holiday now without them

Unfortunately didn’t work for me, despite me wearing a wrist and ankle bracelet. Bitten alive in Italy!!

I'd like to leave zero stars. These are absolutely rubbish despite smelling strongly of citronella. I looked down and saw a mosquito biting me less than an inch above a fresh from the packet bracelet.

Got bitten all over my legs in the Caribbean despite using fresh ones. There's no way they last as long as they claim either.

Don't waste your money.

I have no idea what the people leaving 5* reviews are doing differently. I have the genuine branded item bought directly from the company's website and they're useless.

I have bought multiple packs of these. They are an absolute life saver. As someone who is usually an insect buffet on holiday, these have kept me bite free on safari and in more local destinations like Greece which can be terrible for mosquitos. 5 stars! Really rate!

Service was great, easy to use and wonderful in helping protect my family on our trip.

I used to get bitten by pretty much everything, midges, mosquitoes, horseflies...a horse, but that's another story! However the last few holidays I've been on I've used Pestects wristbands and not a single bite! Definitely exceeded my expectations!! Second on my list of things to take on holiday with my passport being first!!

A month ago I was being eaten alive, it seemed like anything with a sting in its tail was feeding off me !!!! I bought a pack of Pestects bracelets half hoping perhaps they would deter some of the insects, not in my wildest dreams thinking they would stop them all. I have gone from having twenty mosquito bites a month ago to absolutely nothing at all since wearing these, they are absolutely amazing 🤩

2 stars because they used to be brilliant. The woven fabric bracelets work great and I don't get bitten at all. I recently bought the spiral shaped plastic bracelets and swapped to these when on holiday and my bracelets needed replacing. My husband had been bitten all over and I was fine. Until I swapped to the plastic bracelets. I am now covered, including 2 bites that are right next to the bracelets. Husband and 3 children all wearing the bracelets and all covered in bites after one day wearing them. What a waste of money.

Purchased these mosquito repellent bracelets hoping they would stop us getting bitten while on holiday. Unfortunately, they made no difference at all. Despite wearing them every day, I was still bitten multiple times, including bites on the same arm and leg as the bracelet. Family members were also bitten multiple times. As a result it left us miserable and unable to enjoy our holiday due to the number of bites on our legs and arms. They simply didn’t provide the protection they claim.

Looking into it afterwards, I found other independent reviews suggesting these bracelets perform poorly compared with other mosquito deterrents.

I really wish I’d done more research before buying them. I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re relying on them to protect you from mosquito bites.

Sadly, and I was really hopeful that they would, these bands are completely ineffective.
I have put 4 on ankles and wrists and have several mosquito bites, even around the bracelets themselves!!
Don't bother. The only thing that works is maximum strength DEET, jungle formula.

I purchased the bracelets and the spray for our family holiday to Majorca. Bracelets and spray are useless for stopping mosquito bites. Have gone back to using proper insect repellent. Don't waste your money on these products.

I am always bitten when on holiday. This year I discovered pestects. My initial thoughts were that these bracelets can’t possibly work, but I was going to Egypt and had read reviews that the mozzies were rife so I thought”let’s give them a go”. Wow was I suprised … not one bite throughout the entire holiday. I wore the gold bracelet which looked very trendy. Will definatley purchase again

Im not one to normally comment on a purchase, but I have to share how great this product is. I've recently used these while abroad and they did exactly what was expected. I'm that person that the mozzies usually wait at the airport to attack. I wore one on my wrist and one on my ankle and for the first time I wasn't bit, which helped me enjoy my holiday.
On the day before leaving I didn't wear them and got three bites on my legs so that proves they work. I also added some pure citronella on them in the evening. It states that you can wear them swimming I didn't try,I took them off to go in the pool so I can't on comment on that. I Highly recommend buying these.

Be very cautious buying from this company. They heavily advertise "dispatch within 12 hours," but use cheap, non-tracked 2nd class post that takes days to arrive. When my package did finally arrive, they had sent me the wrong order. When I reported their error, I was dragged into days of back-and-forth emails - sent around 1am every night from a customer service team that repeatedly ignored UK consumer law and my requests. When I originally flagged they had sent me the wrong item, they tried to sell it to me at 50% off, and if I wouldn’t purchase it they insisted the only alternative was that I had to pay return postage out-of-pocket. They then issued an unauthorised £1.55 refund to force me to go to the Post Office for them. Bear in mind too that their own 2nd class Royal Mail postage to me for the item cost me £2.99. A genuinely terrible service from start to finish. I don’t even want to use their product after this absurd farce. Avoid them at all costs!

As an update, when I posted this feedback on their Instagram page, they blocked me!

I bought the stretchy plastic bracelets on subscription but within 3 hours of wearing, i had 3 bites. What can i say? I must have such a delicious scent to insects, that they ignore the smell of the bracelets!!!!
Customer service were very good however; they cancelled the subscription i had set up, (although the small print says you cant cancel before 2 sets have been sent) and have issued me a refund, so i am changing my original review because of their good attitude for putting things right.
I must add, my daughter uses this company and says the bracelets work brilliantly for her family....but not the plastic ones.... so i may try one of the type she orders, before ordering a pack for myself!

Brilliant product. I get bitten abroad every where I go no matter what I use.
I was sceptical when I ordered these bands but they really do work.
2 week holiday in Cyprus and not bitten at all even tho it was mozzie central.
I wore the bands on my wrists and ankles and they were so comfortable.
I will definitely purchase this product again for my next holiday and would highly recommend then to others
