AVOID this dealership - we traded in 2 cars for one car and paid the remaining balance off - they over sold / promised in order for us to buy the car - we have had huge amount of issues for the last 3 months which we had to get mediation involved as managers and headoffice didn’t want to help resolve the issues - they even gave us a courtesy car to drive that had NO tax!!! Lazy staff, useless managers and have zero customer services

Absolute scam artists.

Bought a car outright, no finance or anything, paid an extra £1,000 for a 2 year warranty, that covers, diagnostics, sensors, clutch, etc, then i pay an extra £80 a month for the added protection on dents, tyres, paint work, basically everything.

Within 4 weeks of purchasing ive had a system start/stop fault on the dash board, the clutch needs replacing, and sensors are faulting.

Ive now argued with them for nearly 12 months that I have paid for the warranty that you yourself and Alex the sales rep I bought it from thats since been fired! Stated clearly all these repairs are covered and that i dont and wint have an extra penny to pay whilst covered with the extra warranty i paid £1,000 For to cover me for 2 years.

But no you play stupid that well until I pay all service and diagnostic and labour charges up front, you wont repair or diagnose the problem, even though the warranty i purchased covers diagnostics, but you want me to pay first and has to be by card too so you can hold my money for 10 days or steal my car!!

Honestly a disgrace of a car dealership and Absolute robbing con merchants DO NOT BUY FROM ROTHERHAM PERRYS, they dont honour their warranty and they sell dodgy vehicles that they just delete errors codes.
And refuse to resolve, this issues been reported since 4 weeks after purchase and youve done nothing to honour the warranty or leave a customer happy.

Scam artists selling dodgy vehicles stay away!!!!!

I bought a car from Perry’s that I collected at the beginning of January from the Blackburn branch.

The car was faulty from the day of purchase and broke down in just over a month.

The car was taken back to the dealership as it is under warranty, they advised it had a faulty water pump. They would order a part, it would arrive in the next week they would “call me as soon as it arrived”. 2 weeks later no one had contacted, I called as the car was rough idling, they had the part and I could take the car the next day.. I shouldn’t have had to chase.

They then advised the issue wasn’t the water pump and they need to contact their specialists. A month later they called me and to advise “they hadn’t forgot about me” and to query suitable vehicles while mine was repaired.

Another month passed of no contact, I called and was advised I’d be called back in the afternoon, 4pm, no call. I called back to be advised the car needed to be taken down to check an “engine code”, again, I shouldn’t have had to chase. This was an unnecessary delay.

I was advised they believed the issue with the car is an engine fault and the car “needs a new engine”.

Expressed my concerns on numerous occasions in regards to being advised to continue to drive a faulty car, especially after being advised it’s an engine fault. I have had to chase for updates which generally resulted in the response of “we will contact you at the end of the week”, with no contact then being made.

Eventually after 5 or so months, they had a car they could put me in while my car was repaired.

They have no advised a timeframe for the repair, nor mentioned any costs for any accidental damage to the courtesy vehicle..

While driving down the motorway a stone hit the windscreen, I called as soon as possible to advise as I didn’t want the damage worsening. I have been advised again, to keep driving the car, and the “max they can charge is £500” - again no costs for accidental damage mentioned prior to this point, while I can understand an excess, up to £500 for a repairable chip is excessive.

I was also advised to send photographs and details, which have been emailed, unsurprisingly met with no response.

They have received full payment from me for 7 months for a faulty car, and in my opinion, do not want to repair the windscreen damage to the temporary car so that they can justify charging their “max” price when the damage inevitably worsens, without even acknowledging the risk of a chip worsening on the drivers side of the windscreen. It was accidental, unavoidable and again, no charges were made clear or advised before or on collection of the car.

Extremely dissatisfied with the service up to this point.. Disappointed with the lack of customer care and communication and it’s really quite concerning from what you expect to be a reputable dealer.

I had an excellent experience buying my Mazda 2 from Perrys Blackburn Mazda. James was patient, knowledgeable and always happy to answer my many questions. He explained the finance and warranty options clearly without any pressure and respected my decision to pay in full. I also appreciated his excellent after-sales follow-up, checking that I was happy with the car and reminding me that I could contact him if I needed any help. I am delighted with my Mazda 2 and would highly recommend Perrys Blackburn Mazda.

Well dont know what they would be like if they actually sold you a car. But haven't responded to two sales inquiries in the last 2 weeks - obviously dont need the extra sales

Needed a part, spoke to Julia who was extremely helpful. The service was excellent and the part arrived promptly, would definitely recommend.

Tried to deal with these amateur's regarding a second hand vehicle sale an trade in but I am totally dismayed with the total lack of honesty integrity and sales only driven attitude firstly to try and get an honest assessment of the vehicle I was interested in and total blasé attitude of either you want it or you don’t approach that I have never in my entire time of dealing with Japanese manufacturers of which I cannot speak more highly of to being offered less than £2500 of what trade in value of the min stated bearing in mind my vehicle is probably at the same standard of quality inside and out was a total smack in the face and quite frankly just plain rude all they were interested in was pushing extra warranty on a 6 month old vehicle mileage wise all of this is not what I have come to experience over my many years dealing with the wonderful Japanese manufacturers of well put together and reliable vehicles all I can surmise is that it is a northern thing as this in my experience is not the norm in short I implore any prospective customers of these amateurs definitely think twice before entering into negotiations with these idiots because they will waste your time and money

Very helpful, explained everything in great detail, found the car I was looking for, went above and beyond when we had a problem with finance company. Marshall was our main sales manager, and when he was off, the other staff were just as helpful.

Alex was great to deal with. He even came to the train station to pick me up when I went to collect my new car.

I love the people at Perrys Broadstairs they are so welcoming. I’d like to say thank you to jazz that helped me out getting my second car as my first one was written off, such a lovely person.
