Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.

The company initially refused to provide a refund. After a lot of back and forth, they finally gave me a return address in China. I paid out of my own pocket to return the item, only for them to refuse to accept delivery of the parcel.

Since then, they have ignored my emails completely, leaving me out of pocket for both the item and the return postage. To make matters worse, my bank has been unable to recover the money either.

Looking at the other reviews, it seems this is a common pattern. Customers are told to return items at their own expense, only for the returns not to be accepted and refunds never to be issued.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from this company to think twice. Save yourself the stress, time and money and shop elsewhere.

I am writing this to save you time and money. I spent countless hours dealing with this company — sending emails back and forth, going to the post office, paying return shipping costs, taxes, and trying to get a refund for an order that should have been resolved properly from the beginning.

My experience with Corset NY was extremely disappointing. The company gives the impression that it is a New York-based brand, but my order was actually shipped through China. The quality of the jumpsuit I received was very poor, and I immediately requested a refund.

For almost four months, I continued communicating with them on and off, but they refused to refund my money. I paid approximately $33 to ship the item back to China, even though the jumpsuit itself cost around $60. After all of this, they claimed they never received the package, and eventually the same jumpsuit was sent back to me because they did not accept the return.

I lost almost $100, wasted many hours of my time, and had to dispute the charge with American Express because this company would not resolve the problem.

I believe customers should be aware of my experience before purchasing from Corset NY. Please do your research carefully. My experience was extremely frustrating, and I would never purchase from this company again.

I am sharing this review only to help others avoid the same stress, wasted time, and financial loss that I experienced! I mean look at the address!!!

incredibly deceptive

i placed an order and have been waiting 4 months for it to he shipped and been emailing back and forth about the item to be told that it is still in “production” because it is a rhinestone item. i was met with lies every time i requested an update and i believe the company was hoping i would forget about the shipment. i emailed again now asking for a refund and i was offered an exchange instead when i clearly asked for a refund but they use deceptive tactics to divert the attention back to their own needs.

do not give your money to this brand.

I bought 2 corset from them and first all the quality is very bad! Not worth the price at all! I tried to send it back and they approved but the item seems stuck at the customs and it’s been months!!! And I tried to reach them for answers no reply! The worse company to deal with

A scam. “Cindy” only refunded me $25 out of an $99.98 order. No movement for two weeks so I asked them to cancel and refund. Then they stop replying. It’s a huge scam. Have had to do a charge back with bank.

It’s been 20 days since I made an order, have followed up. Apparently it will be shipped this week!
Very poor customer service

Ho fatto un ordine a fine maggio e circa 10 minuti dopo ne ho chiesto la cancellazione siccome ho trovato l’articolo che volevo a molto meno su un’altro sito. Dopo lunghe attese mi è stato chiesto perché volessi cancellare ma che non fosse più possibile perché l’ordine era già partito. Mi è stato offerto un rimborso del 20% in credito ma mi è sembrato ridicolo: voglio un rimborso completo con reso del prodotto o direttamente che l’ordine non mi venga mandato. In tutto ciò passano i giorni e il negozio persiste a non voler risolvere il problema. Ad un certo punto, dopo due settimane dalla data dell’ordine mi arriva la conferma di spedizione, quindi tutto ciò che mi era stato detto è stata una bugia. Ora io mi ritrovo senza soldi e senza nemmeno l’ordine. Ma quando arriverà, VOGLIO poterlo rendere a costo zero siccome il negozio è stato scorretto.

I placed my order on May 13 with an advertised shipping timeframe of 8–13 business days.

After weeks of waiting and repeatedly contacting customer service, I was provided with a tracking number that could not be verified and did not provide evidence that my package had actually been shipped.

The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to provide reliable tracking information made this an extremely frustrating experience.

Customers should be aware that the actual fulfillment process may be very different from what is advertised.

Based on my experience, I would not order from this company again.

Absolut unterirdische Erfahrung. Das Produkt war mangelhaft und der Kundenservice hat meine Reklamation trotz Bildbeweisen mehrfach abgewiesen. Keine echte Auseinandersetzung mit dem Problem, nur Copy-Paste-Antworten. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Absolutely disappointing experience. The product was defective and customer service dismissed my complaint multiple times despite photographic evidence. No genuine engagement with the issue, just copy-paste responses. Would not recommend.

Don't buy from here!!

I saw someone wearing a corset from here on tiktok and ordered it for my holiday without checking out reviews first I didn't realise they were based in China not America as their brand name suggests. The corset came with a hole in loads of loose threads and rips around the eyelets not reflecting the £83 i paid for it which was with discount might I add. Emailed customer service asking for a prepaid return label and a full refund as I was not going to cover the extortionate shipping it would cost me to send back to China. When they replied they only offered me an exchange or to resend the item which I am not interested in as I can't imagine any replacement will be much better quality. Went back to them to request a prepaid return label and full refund again - no response. Sent another email - no response. I have now requested a chargeback through my bank as I know I'm not going to get anywhere with this scam of a company. -10 stars seems like a better representation.

It is almost impossible to get a refund.
If your order doesn’t suit you, you have to contact customer support by email. I have been trying for a week and still haven’t received clear instructions on how to return my item.
I asked for a return label, but instead I keep getting unclear or repeated responses. Customer support is very slow, and I still don’t know how to complete the refund process.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience.

The worst, I ordered a corset, and it was way smaller than the measurement so I returned it and it took over a month to get the refund and then they deducted shipping cost and there was no shipping fee on the order.

SCAM! Thank god I always pay using secure cards such as. PayPal or Amex. I had to go through my bank to get a refund as they ignored me and didn’t send anything. When I filed for the refund via Amex they reached out to me begging me to close it but I ignored them right back! SCAM

I would give them 0 starts if I could. I placed my order back in Feb 18, so yes it has been a month and I haven’t received any items. Right after purchasing I had a bad feeling and started looking for reviews, I read all the comments and since week one, everything has happened as people said.

After the first week and getting no updates in my order, I emailed them, they said the item was not in stock and offered to change for another one which I refused. I said I wanted a refund instead but then they completely ignored this and offered a timeline of two weeks to send the item (let’s clarify that the items ALWAYS appear in stock in their website).

Two weeks more passed, I emailed them again and request my refund as no items were ever sent and magically I got an update stating that my item was just shipped along with a tracking number.

Tracking number is fake, when accessing the website it shows that the item is a demo and it is in transit with date April 18th 2025.

I just exhausted the options to prove my bank that I did everything that was in my hands to get the item or the refund from the store, so I can try to get my money back from them.

Awful experience.

Was very wary after reading reviews on here (but had already placed my order) but my order arrived within 2 weeks and quality is great! Luckily haven’t had to return as that seems to be where the business gets tricky

Ordered two corsets on separate orders for my second look at my wedding.

Weirdly, the first one I ordered, the Sia corset, arrived in Australia to me within about 10 days. Quality seems good and overall happy with it but I had ordered the other because I changed my mind with the style.

That was 2 weeks ago, they take days to respond and have told me the size small is out of stock. I said ok, can I be sent a medium? They said that’s also out of stock. BOTH still show as in stock on their website.

I have told them to cancel and refund me however they keep just wanting to partial refund me “when the order arrives”. What?!

Terrible customer service, and unacceptable they’re showing items as available on their website that aren’t. That should be false advertising.

They also delete negative comments on social media.

Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I did receive 1 of the 2 orders.

I was confused at first when I looked up this store on Trustpilot because I assumed their social media profiles and website to be legit and found lots of information online. After ordering a corset which arrived in perfect condition within 10 days (ordered from Europe) I can’t help but think the bad reviews must have confused this page with a scammer website. I absolutely adore the corset I ordered and get compliments left and right every time I wear it. At first I wasn’t sure if I should get xxs or xs but decided on the smaller option in the end and its surprisingly comfortable for a corset. Can and will recommend to anyone wondering
