Vgreat variety of research and timely payment. Would definitely recommend!
Both of the research opportunities my family took part in were interesting and engaging.
Staff provided relevant information, were friendly and professional. Eden has definitely made us feel at ease, answered all our questions about the studies and was friendly and approachable on the phone prior to the interviews.
Payments came in on time. I would definitely recommend using People for Research and look forward to being invited to the study again.

Concern Regarding Legitimacy of Company
An individual named Richie reached out and invited me for an interview, which lasted around an hour. Since then, I have not received any communication or updates from them.
This has made me question whether the company is legitimate, and I am now worried about how my personal information may have been used.

I had a great experience with People…
I had a great experience with People for Research. My child was invited to participate in a study, and Richie was incredibly helpful in walking us through the entire process. On the day of the study, everything went smoothly, and my child had a seamless experience with the researcher. I really appreciated how supportive Richie was. I’d definitely recommend People for Research to other people considering getting involved in research studies.

I signed up several months ago
I signed up several months ago, applied to numerous 'opportunities,' and haven't received a single invitation, so this used a lot of my time.
What's even more concerning is that every time you apply, you're required to provide your personal data again and again. It genuinely feels like they're just collecting and mining data without actually providing any opportunities. Wouldn't recommend.

A complete waste of time. I registered months ago, have signed up to many many many 'opportunities' and not had one invite.
Worryingly, each time you apply you have to give them your data - so are you just being data mined for free? Seem that way.

We do not have the ability to charge participant credit cards, and we would never request payment in order to take part in research. For this reason, it’s very unlikely that the charge you’ve experienced is connected to us directly.
If you believe your card details have been compromised, we strongly recommend contacting your bank or card provider as soon as possible so they can investigate and protect your account. It may also be helpful to review the merchant name shown on your statement, as this can often clarify where a charge originated.

Great company, with really friendly staff. I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited to a few focus groups over the past 6-7 years and have really enjoyed them all. Payment is prompt & it’s a great way to earn a bit of extra money.

Communications not 10/10
I was invited to do a study to provide some information from a credit card statement & upload a payslip.
Completed it, then didn't hear anything again or receive payment - waited 6 weeks and emailed asking if that could be looked into.
Was told they required something different to what I provided; let's assume that instructions were clear & I missed something & that was my mistake - apologies & totally fair to not be paid for doing the wrong thing.
But surely you'd communicate with someone who had completed a task for you and given you some very personal information (payslip) as to why they wouldn't be paid, rather than leave them wondering if they'd been scammed or something & having to chase you?
Constructive feedback: Really easy and quick fix to just advise people if they've done something wrong and not met the conditions. You then avoid them being confused and this also gives a chance that if it's a mistake, perhaps they can put it right and you can get what you need from them after all.

As we explained via email when you contacted us, unfortunately it can take a number of applications before we are able to match you up with a suitable study – we do receive a high volume of responses on some of the most popular topics, but we always try to involve those who have not yet been selected to take part where possible.
Each opportunity has specific criteria we’re looking for, but are not able to divulge to avoid influencing the participants' applications – this does mean you may feel you’re suitable for something and still don’t get picked. Unfortunately, we can’t always be open about these criteria, as we need to ensure responses are valid and honest to make the research worthwhile.
We do appreciate you applied to six of our projects without being picked, and just want to confirm we don't use any of the data you provided for any other purposes other than being recruited for paid research.

Once you get in, it's very easy.
Once you are selected to one of the opportunities you apply to, the process is quite smooth. It can include a video interview or just a call (I managed to get both), and you get paid a few days after it's finished.

I had a positive experience with People for Research. The communication was excellent, with clear instructions provided at every step. The staff were professional and friendly, which made the process comfortable. I received my incentive a few days after completing the research, without any issues.
