Bought a used car from Parks Bathgate
We bought a car from Parks Bathgate. Katelyn took us through all the features, accompanied us on our test drive and walked us through the purchase process. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We collected our car from Allan (enjoy your holiday Allan) who made it a simple and quick process. Very pleased with Parks customer service.
Yaris Cross with a faulty battery
Bought a Toyota Yaris Cross and the battery is faulty. Had to get the AA out to help twice, they told us that the battery is no use and should be replaced under the warranty. Parks in Carlisle refused to replace it and simply recharged it. Now the car won't start again. The Service Manager Dougie Field told us that we need to start the car every ten days or this will continue to happen. How on earth can Toyota drivers go on holiday for two weeks? He also told us that he gets lots of customers complaining about this issue so it obviously a known problem which Parks are ignoring. We have bought a number of Lexus and Toyota here and we have had all cars covered under their monthly service plan, but never again. I told Dougie that we would cancel the service plans and we would buy future Lexus and Toyota from another garage - he simply asked what I would do if I were in his job and told me that they were not making a profit - an incredible attitude. They have made thousands of pounds from us over the years and are willing to lose valuable customers over the cost of a battery which is actually under warranty. They do not deserve to have the Toyota/Lexus franchise.

Having tried to book my car in Parks Hyundia Irvine for a service on numerous occasions over a 2 day period I found it impossible to speak to the service department. Told twice I would get a call back that never happend eventually decided to do a 60 mile round trip to Arnoldclark Glasgow to get my service done. Totally different experience.

I cannot recommend Walter Turner from Parks Arbroath highly enough. We were looking for a car for our 17 year old learner driver and was obviously apprehensive about buying a first car for him... and even more worried about buying remotely! Walter was so thorough and patient, provided measured advice, different car options, and provided much needed reassurance. The car was delivered to us without any issues. My son is absolutely thrilled. Thank you to Walter, such a super star!

I would like to extend my appreciation for the excellent customer service I recently received at Park's Hyundai Irvine. My initial contact was with Grant who chatted with me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Grant then introduced me to Paul who would would then deal with my motability needs. In the space of 2 weeks or so I received my car. Paul had sorted all of the necessary paperwork and on the day of my car pick up, he took time out from his busy schedule to take me out to the car and show me and explain all of the car functions. He also synched my phone to the car since I was unsure how to do it. Both Grant and Paul wished me well with my new car as I left. Very, very impressed by their caring helpful manner.
Top Customer Service
First class service from our initial enquiry through to completion of our purchase. When my wife and I first arrived at the Carlisle showroom we we greeted by Jonathan who showed us the car we were interested in and arranged a test drive. We were then introduced to Gordon who was to complete the purchase and documentation.
At no time did we have any pressure put on us, only helpful assistance and information. Our purchasing experience was made pleasurable by both Jonathon and Gordon. This is a rarity these days.

Terrible
My car’s been in with Park’s Land Rover in Ayr for 7 weeks (edit: and counting) with no courtesy car - and no return date for the car as it may require a new engine. I have requested a courtesy car numerous times, but to no avail. I’ve had to take the bus on several occasions when my husband has been away on business. The Service Manager does not care and his only attempt at getting in touch has been a voicemail asking to call back. The number of times I’ve phoned is embarrassing. Disgusted with Park’s Land Rover, and even submitted a complain to Jaguar Land Rover directly, but the only response being that my email was sent on to the Service Manager.

The friendly staff in all areas not just sales made the experience positive. There is a good atmosphere which adds to positive vibe. Graeme Barrie was knowledgeable and well prepared and was supportive in the whole transaction. At no time did it feel pressurized as it can be in these situations - he showed a high level of emotional intelligence which can be lacking sometimes.

parkes aberdeen has had my toyota hilux now for two months it has a whining rear diff it was under warranty so i decided to let them do the work i could have done the work myself i wish now i had it is one excuse after another they book it in every monday but nothing is done i am still waiting with no car and i stay out of the beating track but they dont care about that.i was told today29/424 it was ready to pick up and it had been tested and it was good so i picked it up and it is just the same i wont ever deal with them again . now i can fix the problem myself.

My mum bought a cark from Park's in Dumfries and has been treated terribly. Since the car was purchased last April the SOS alert kept coming on after phoning numerous times without a call back her service was finally booked in. At this appointment it was found the computer had not been updated before being handed over at point of sale. When she took it in she was given a courtesy car and whilst driving home the alert came on advising there was no fuel in the car. My mum is a recently widowed pensioner so obviously this was distressing. Whilst in the garage it was found one of the tyres had a puncture repaired on it and therefore a new tyre was needed this tyre must have been punctured before it was sold to my mum but she was made pay for a new tyre and it was insinuated that she must have been responsible for the puncture.
I would stay clear of Parks as they appear to sell cars with lots of flaws and then make the customer pay for repair when these come to light.
The customer service is non existent most of the time and then extremely poor when someone actually calls back (usually because they want you to give them lots of money for their mistakes.)
