Great company (so far!). This is my 3rd delivery, 2 via Homebase and one direct… all Farrow and Ball paint and extras. Ordered Monday, received today Wednesday all by DPD. Really securely packaged even though 2 packages arrived upside down! Always a worry when ordering paint. My go to DIY shop now.

I received a severely damaged and dirty…
I received a severely damaged and dirty tin of Farrow & Ball paint. I emailed Paint Stop with photos of the damage and they basically said tough, I’m sure the paint is fine. I paid full price for a damage free tin. Appalling customer service. No compensation offered. Obviously don’t understand how to install customer loyalty.

I’m sorry you feel that our customer service was not at our usual standards. I am aware of your complaint and I know this kind of language was certainly not used by our staff.
I have reviewed your issue though and can see that your tin had a small dent in the bottom that would not affect the paint inside or the ability to use it (open and close the tin). Also, as this is mixed paint sometimes there is some paint residue after shaking and this is wiped off the can before sending. I can assure you that all our Farrow&Ball is brand new and made to order, we are an official stockist.

local DIY shop online
Don’t have a local DIY shop so tried these as they had a huge selection. Everything turned up fine, paint was packed extremely well with special packaging to hold the cans in place inside the boxes. Surprised to see bad reviews here

Don’t waste your money on poor quality paint and appalling customer service
£108 Farrow & Ball paint tin arrived unsealed with tape around the lid (so the paint has spoiled), dried paint around the rim (so the lid can’t be closed after application) and paint leaking inside the cardboard packaging (so a quantity of paint has been lost).
They claimed this “is not uncommon” which is a worry. They said it “will not compromise the quality of the paint” which is a lie based on what Farrow & Ball say. They refused a refund, offering a small tin to replace the lost paint.
Don’t waste your time and money!

A replacement was offered and rejected. All paints (mixed or not) are sent out with tape around the lid to prevent spillage.
Missing and damaged orders
Ordered two colours from this company and was supposed to be delivered by DPD. Despite being Amazon Prime. First order took several days to come and arrived damaged. Mishandled delivery. Second was supposed to have arrived 2 hours ago. No trace of goods or driver. Won’t be using again. Decorating was supposed to start tomorrow and now can’t. Don’t know when they can start. This is a disgrace. Just seen other similar stories on here. Will be starting a chargeback

Was a bit wary with the low score on here but i had no problems whatsoever , had bought a couple of items off them at ebay before realising they had a proper website , everything i've ordered has been top notch and delivered quickly , will be using regularly especially for Nour branded products that i rate highly but not that easy to get hold of in the UK.

We have a wide range of Nour and other products from Farrow & Ball to plumbing parts.
I ordered a specific Macpherson paint…
I ordered a specific Macpherson paint that I couldnt get locally in time for a job. So ordered with this company. They sent a cheaper alternative, a product I could have bought locally and didn't even contact me to say they were doing this. Not even offered to credit me the difference
Update after reply below
Unbelievable, the product is not the same, it’s like saying Skoda and Porsche are made in the same VW factory , ordering a Porsche Boxter and getting a Skoda Yeti !!
Given the weight of the pant a return for refund isn’t economically viable. A responsible solution to credit back the difference between the product purchased and the product supplied was refused.
1 star is one star too many!!!

We apologise for for the failure to update the image on our website.
As was explained the only difference was that Macpherson changed their livery of the product slightly. The correct item was sent out just with minor changes to the image on the tin.
Its really nothing to do with Skoda's or Porsches or dogs or cats or anything like that.
This was explained and a return and refund was offered.
As was threatened a one star review was left on trustpilot by yourself.
We hope you the best in future endeavors.
Another Evri delivery debacle
Not a one-star for Paintstop as I haven't yet received anything but because they use Evri for delivery. Evri have had the paint for over a week and still no idea when it will be delivered and Amazon (who I ordered through) are suggesting claiming a refund - does that mean they know it won't be delivered - very strange. I won't be using Paintstop again. Evri is trashing your businesses reputation

Evri is unfortunately a necessary evil in ecommerce and their service is dependent on location.
When ordering through Amazon marketplace you will always get faster more satisfactory results if you go to the seller with any problems. (When dealing with us anyway).
