A great Experience
After finding out that my package was too large for Australia Post I rang around to find the cheapest quote and they ranged from $76 to $270. Fortunately, I stumbled accross pack and send. They could deliver my parcel for $56 and were very helpful when I rang with queries. The parcel arrived at its destination quickly & without incident so I will definitely use the service again.

Signature on delivery?
I paid for insurance and signature on delivery, but the valuable vintage guitar was simply left near the front door without being signed for. Then, not even the courtesy of a response to an email I wrote asking why this had occurred.

Initial Pick up not made.
I made booking for Friday pick up on Wednesday. Stayed home all day Friday but pick up did not occur. Rang Pack and Send and also used online help. Was told driver had accepted to pick up package. Rescheduled package to be picked up the following Tuesday (was not possible on the Monday). Package picked up at 3:30pm. Instate delivery was fast after pick up, but process required me to be home for two days to facilitate postage. Have used Pack and Send a number of times with no issues, this time was not so efficient.

Always excellent service and prompt delivery. Lovely staff/family at Wendouree.
We have always sent parcels within Australia with excellent results.
Sent a parcel to New Zealand last week and it arrived in 2 1/2 days!

Hidden costs at the other end of sending parcels overseas.
Much more needs to be done about alerting to the the costs at the other end of an overseas parcel being sent from here. I paid $300 at the Pack and Send end but $750 at the other end!
Yes its in the terms and conditions but who reads that and it is so far down its virtually useless.
You need to make a big deal about this and encourage people to actually contact the relevant UPS facilities at the other end and maybe get some quotes first. One can provide the size, weight and worth of a parcel so they should be able to estimate. In many cases it would actually deter people from sending stuff overseas.
On a positive note it was fast getting there and it arrived safe. Pack and Send is good for within Australia.

For all International shipments with high dollar values will incur customs clearances and duties & taxes. These fees are unforeseen at time of booking but are made clear in the T&C's which are agreed to when booked. These fees are out of Pack & Send's control and can't be avoided by any freight provider. We apologise again for this inconvenience and we hope to see you again in future.

Good Morning. I understand your concerns, however we can not dispute the correct weight & dimensions charge applied by our preferred suppliers because the actual weights and dimensions, according to the carriers digital laser scanning, are only marginally more then those stated at the time of booking. It is reasonable to expect a small amount of error which has resulted in an additional charge.
Apologies we can’t reverse this automatic charge by the carrier and we hope this experience doesn’t stop you from using Pack & Send again in future.

Hi David we are truly sorry your experience was not to your satisfaction. From what I can see there was a delay from when your parcel was booked to when it was actually picked up. I will have to lodge an investigation with the carrier to find out more as to why this delay occurred. Once it was picked up, it was delivered within 2 working days. Hi Luke, thanks for your review. We do infact have an option to drop off at a service centre. When you are on the Sender/ Origin Details section of the booking process, there is an option to select "Send Parcel from a PACK & SEND Service Centre". When you click to select this option, it will select your nearest service centre by default, but you also have the option to choose a different one if you prefer. The only time this option would not be available is if there are no PACK & SEND Service centres within a convenient distance from the origin suburb/town. If you have any trouble finding this next time you are making a booking, please call support on 1300 668 000 and we will be able to assist over the phone.
