QuickStart Oxfordshire gave me the tools and knowledge to allow me to pass my MOD 1 and 2 tests first time, under the direct Access scheme.
Dave the owner ensured I was kept in the loop at all times, being very friendly he also puts you at ease, explains the whole process and answered any questions I had.
Instructor Dave is pure class. With a good mix of humour , expert knowledge and brilliant instructor technique he ensures you extract the best from yourself.
A really enjoyable experience from start to finish, can’t thank these guys enough......

Very happy with the support from QuickStart, especially Dave the owner and Dave who trained me mod 1 and 2. The approach is obviously safety / skills focused with decent equipment and a dollop of humour to make what can be a fair amount of hanging around in early, cold and wet mornings in group sessions always enjoyable. The lockdown made getting test slots harder (than it should be IMO, almost no physical proximity) so they had to work with a lot of pressure from easer candidates (like me) since the government restarted the limited release of dates. I took two cancellations this week for mod1 and 2, passed despite my best attempts to make errors under stress, so am pretty happy.

My opinion of the experience is that QuickStart gave me the skills and knowledge to pass, building my confidence. Due to the cv19 test delays I bought a 125 to keep my road time and knowledge up and this also helped, made the time with Dave my trainer more effective, less rusty.

QuickStart are recommended for an effective and enjoyable way to do your DAS!

Unable to get a renewed CBT course in Gloucestershire before my existing one ran out, I attended the CBT course yesterday at Witney. I was really impressed by the session. I had taken others before, but the two instructors (Steve and Emma) were excellent, informative and friendly. After a rather aggressive instructor at another training site two years ago, I really felt the course here was well managed. I have had respiratory illness for several years, and found the Covid-19 precautions were exceptionally well-thought out and worked really well, both for instructors and trainees. Top marks for that! The professional and friendly manner of the instructors made the experience enjoyable and informative. Highly recommended!

Had such a good experience getting my CBT with these guys, I had next to zero experience on a moped, but dave our instructor did a great job putting you at ease and going through things, a good laugh too which really eased any tension. I was out riding to Burford after and all around after coming here. Highly recommended

Thanks to Dave and his team I completed my DAS training and now have my full motorcycle licence. I had the best experience and feel confident in putting what I’ve learned into my future bike riding. Well done the training school and thanks for all the hard work.

I’ve just passed my das course with OXT and cannot fault them, the trainers have a lot of knowledge and put you at ease with the motorcycles. I highly recommended these guys. The coaching i revived was second to none and got me through both my mod 1 and mod 2 with next to no driving faults. I could not be happier.

From the manual CBT all the way up to the DAS the Instructors Experience, Knowledge and Professionalism was second to none, and what was very clear is they enjoy and take a real pride in what they do!
The whole process of booking was very easy and also the price was very competitive too.
I went from being a nervous automatic CBT rider to Passing my full DAS Mod 1 & Mod 2 first time, with no minors on the Mod 2. That is purely down to the standard of teaching at Quickstart.
I really enjoyed my time learning with Quickstart and I can't thank them enough.
I will without hesitation recommend Quickstart to anyone thinking of learning to ride a Motorcycle, either CBT or DAS.

I’d never ridden before and everyone on the team, from the CBT through to the mod 1 and mod 2 training was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole process a joy. Filled me with confidence, great practical tips and most importantly helped me to really enjoy the learning and riding.

Passed Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time with Dave and his team. Everyone is friendly and they go out of their way to put you at ease.

Communication is clear when training and everything is explained. The DVSA cancelled my test and Dave did everything he could to rearrange his lessons to fit me back in.

Very happy with the service here and will be looking to further my knowledge with their Advance training courses.

Definitely would recommend QuickStart to anyone who wants to learn riding a bike. Communication throughout was good - Dave always answered my queries quickly. The training was fun and both instructors (Dave and Dave in my case) are very experienced and clearly know what they are talking about. The Suzuki 650 was a good bike to learn on.

I am equally surprised by the bad review below - Dave was very helpful, and definitely wants you to pass, but that is very different to 'pushing numbers through'! He organised a re-test for me within a decent time (you need to wait 10 days anyway) and I passed second time, so very pleased.

I would - and do - recommend training with QuickStart to anyone. I passed my CBT with them about five years ago, and was really pleased to see the same friendly faces when I returned recently to get my full DAS licence.

Dave at Quickstart is a great trainer - friendly and professional, responded quickly to messaged queries - and got the job done: I passed my Mod 1 and 2 first time round.

I was very surprised to find a bad review here from last year as I and the others I trained with had the opposite response! Lots of fun in capable hands.

Unfortunately, the owner Dave is a bit of a cowboy - he doesn't return calls or emails and when you are on the course it becomes clear he is just trying to push numbers through; he doesn't remember you from one lesson to the next, is massively disorganised and communication is erratic when it happens.

I chose this company because they appeared first on Google and had the most professional-looking website - but don't be fooled. I regret trying to get my bike licence with QuickStart. I failed Mod 2 and didn't do anything about it for over a year. When I tried to get back in touch with Dave he didn't return emails or calls for several weeks, despite repeated attempts to contact him.

I then found Sean at Lambda Motorcycle Training and everything changed. He was polite, courteous and offered me a free assessment to judge my riding ability before suggesting additional training or going straight for the Mod 2 again. Sean was a real breath of fresh air - extremely diligent and professional, encouraging but critical where needed. If I had found Sean and Lambda earlier, but experience of trying to get my licence would have been a whole lot easier, less costly and I truly believe would have resulted in me being a safer rider at the end of it.

Do yourself a favour, save some money, quicken the process and learn more & better - avoid QuickStart and go for Lambda. They do their tests in Swindon, but don't be put off - I have just passed my test there this morning and it was very straight forward. The examiner is a genuinely nice chap and the tuition Sean gave me ensured I fully knew what I was doing when the test came. Give Sean a call - its the only call you'll need to make to get your licence.
