Second pair of prescription sunglasses I've bought from Optilabs for cycling. Excellent glasses and photochromic lenses ideal in changing light conditions for cycling on and off road. Superb customer service and very experienced so phone them first for advice. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent service and very experienced and pleasant staff. Provided a lot of advice and completed my prescription in a very good time from my first visit. Would defiantly be using this service again in the future.

Just a note to say, that this is the way the run a proper business, I broke my glasses frame a while back, went in today, they gave me new frames without hesitation, to which I was astounded. All the staff are thoughtful and very professional, think that all other opticians will need to up their game considerably. Great experience and don’t go anywhere else, we’ll do e.

Thank you to Margaret and the team for being so helpful and making such a great effort to get replacement glasses to me in double quick time . I couldn’t be more satisfied and so pleased . Highly recommend to everyone -they are a great place to get your specs sports or otherwise.

Without doubt these are the best opticians I've ever used. Whatever you ask for isn't a problem, prices are sensible and service is quick. This was my 3rd visit & certainly not my last. 100% recommended.

Having previously had sports glasses from Optilabs I needed a new pair with an updated prescription. I decided to visit them for a new test which was really worthwhile. They could not have been more helpful giving advice and looking at different options for both cycling and skiing. In the end decided to buy two different pairs both with bifocals. They were quick to arrive and really pleased with them . Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing service - you can actually ask them to send you a few frames (up to 3, I think) to try on, and when I did this, I changed my mind as to which one to order (and they even pay your return postage!)
The actual order was handled highly professionally - I got a phone call to verify something in my prescription (I have asymmetric PD values and they wanted to make sure that this was correct). My new glasses arrived well within the 2 weeks advertised, and I love them.
There was a minor glitch, in that the anti-fog spray which I had also ordered was not included, but a short email was enough, and it arrived the next day.

Hats off to a company that delivers good, old-fashioned customer service. I bought a pair of Flip glasses for cycling with a prescription insert. They’re excellent and were made and delivered as promised. However, the first time I used the clear shield (after about 2 months) I found that it was loose when clipped on and so every time I hit a bump it bounced off the prescription insert. Very annoying on a long ride. After I contacted Optilabs I was phoned straight back by Margaret who, without any fuss, promised to send me out a new shield. It arrived by courier today complete with glasses box and cleaning cloth and fits perfectly.

Fantastic company. Excellent customer care. Brilliant in all the ways that matter when it comes to opticians. I was recommended to use Optilabs. I am so glad I took advise and went to Optilabs. I've been to opticians who slightly misjudge the prescription and argue that the glasses need adjusting rather than accept the prescription is scewed..
Optilabs provide glasses that are exactly perfect so no head twisting glasses fidgeting to find the spot to see through you can see. The glasses are exactly right fir you. They ensure you get exactly what you need and do their level best to get them at the price you can afford. If you struggle picking frames that suit you. Margaret is a dream like Mary Poppins she does magic. Pops off and comes back with glasses you like and that suit your face. They are not out to fleece you they help you get what you need not lots of possibly unecessary extras unless you want them need them and can pay for them.
They really go the extra mile to help you be confident knowing your wearing great glasses, happy with your purchase and leave their shop feeling as though you've had a good day. They're old fashioned in the way they believe good service excellent products and great customer care is highly important

Following excellent earlier experience with cycling prescription glasses, I sent a pair of my other normal glasses to Optilabs for re-glazing. Again, first class service and product and turnaround within a week. Highly recommended.

Having used cycling specs with inserts i found it frustrating that they steamed up and difficult to clean insert. By chance i saw the optilabs advert for direct prescription cycling specs, and i have been very happy with my purchase. Very little steaming up as the vents help and even if there is need to clean then you only have one lens to wipe, Excellent

I've had a few pairs of prescription cycling sunglasses from Optilabs. Always an excellent service and excellent glasses.

I broke the frame of my years old fishing specs and they made a great job of quickly putting the lenses into a new frame for me - at a cost of course.
Unfortunately (and I have no idea why) the new frames broke in the same manner after just a few weeks. Without a quibble they replaced the frames at no cost to me. Didn't even charge postage.

A company I will use again!

Had a slight problem with my prescription cycling specs frames. Optilabs sent two replacement frames and accessories completely free of charge. Will definitely use again.

Can’t recommend them highly enough. Selected my glasses on line and input prescription details (which is fairly specialist) and had a call back to confirm everything due to the prescription values and to check whether I wanted varifocals. The glasses were prepared and shipped quickly and at a very reasonable price. Thank you
