I decided to try this service and the S&P trader in Q3 2023. I executed each trade on a daily basis. Now ... 6 months into it, I am clear that there is not any real expertise here. I began with $12,500 and the account is now around $3,500.
I cannot recommend this service in any way, shape or form. Many trades were winners, but the losers were significant.
My advice ... stay away.

Larry and OT are a bunch of liars and untrustworthy.
On his live stream show in January 2024, he said “anyone without prior experience can learn to trade options from my Bitcoin Skimming report” that report was touting his accomplishments and no details on option trading at all. Worthless.
He said he’d send out a ticker at 8:00 am the next day.
He didn’t nor even an email to explain it wasn’t coming or would come later. Nothing!
You can’t get a refund just an exchange for one of his other worthless programs.
Beware of falling for false advertising.

Today was the first time in months that I used the Opportunistic Trader recommendation and WHAT A FOOL I WAS... This Service is straight up BS!!! Trusting the "professional" in a market environment that I had never encountered was clearly a HUGE mistake. You can bet I'll never make that one again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to every Trader out there, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, they have ZERO INSIGHT into the market, and take ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for the failings of their service.

Just checked my credit card and saw a charge of $127.00 which I never made. Not even sure who this company is. Tried to call, they don't answer. Will deal with the credit card company directly. Check your credit card statements!

Never subscribed any offerings with them (and never will) but they aggressively bombard me with spam messages.

As other such scamming sites, they use an ever-expanding list of aliases. The last one I got was sent via "Investify Update" from "Lauren Wingfield, Managing Editor, The Opportunistic Trader". Unsubscribing is pointless as they just keep sending these nuisance messages from other aliases.

Messages are either alarmist or sensationalist or both. This last message is about the "perfect track record" of "Market Wizard Larry Benedict" who even offers a "10-second over-the-shoulder demo" of his strategy to subscribers.... as ludicrous as it gets.

Such fraudulent services are a nuisance to all who get their inbox cluttered with this noise. While they can be blocked with a good spam filter, these "firms" should be prosecuted and shut down by the US regulator for providing misleading investment advice.

Check the small print of these spam messages: full of weaselling-out lawyer crap such as "this is for educational purposes only". When you look these "firms" up, they all describe themselves as publishing services while their messages misleadingly suggest they provide access to quality investment advice. A fraudulent business scheme based on hooking naive subscribers with aggressive, unrealistic messaging.

Pleaserefind my money notification without money is uselss. I SUBSCRIBED ON 11 SEPTEMBER 2023 AND PAID 38 usd instea of 19 usd as they had claimed. So i dont trust them. When i applied for a refund i got the the following message from my bank but upto now they have not refunded the money. [Dear Cardholder, a credit refund of amount of AED 135.16 is notified by merchant OPPORTUNISTIC TRADER, +18882086550 and will be processed upon validation & receiving confirmation.]

The big winner for them is supposed to be Larry's great ability to know the movement of money, stocks, etc during the Quadruple Witching week. This is what he uses to sell his plans. He tells you how he has used this for years to make substantial profits. I don't know if he has lost his connections or has never done what he said, but this quarterly trade has lost 2 of 2 times this year and 3 out of the last 6 quarters. Since this is the one that is supposed to make the big profits, you will invest move here and lose more. Loses the last 2 quarters were 85% and 82%. As with all of his trades even when he makes money, you will not make what he claims as his buy $ are 15 to 20 percent what he recommends clients to buy.

Stay away from any of his plans.

In 2023 Opportunistic Trader launched a new platform featuring the ticker BITO. Which is an LFT linked to Bitcoin. The yearly subscription cost UD$ 2,000. Many companies provide advise on options for stocks or bonds. It was the first offer of advise for options in crypto. Their introductory email from Opportunistic Trader claimed that the “ Bitcoin skimming strategy” could lead to “potential payouts like $4,898... $11,145... even $17,350 every week.”
In order for subscribers to profit every week they need need to receive at least one weekly suggestion. In fact, since this product was launched, only a single suggestion was made for BITO. Moreover, this particular suggestion was one was way off targeted price. Any investor who acted upon this suggestion lost their entire investment. This was followed by more than 2 months without any suggestions. Thereafter, new suggestions wee made, but none for BITO. In fact, the tickers suggested had overlap with another called One Ticker Trader (OTT). The difference being that the OT subscription cost $2,000 per year and the One Ticker Trader has recently been offered for the special discount price of $19 per year.
In summary the introductory email of June 26, foresees an average of weekly suggestions with the potential of enormous financial gains. (No mention was made of potential losses). Instead after the first failed suggestion, no suggestions were made for the first 8 weeks, and when suggestions were made, they were made for other tickers available at a fraction of the cost. The June 26 email had a link to a taped interview explaining the concept of Bitcoin skimming. Today after pressing link to presentation, I received message, that this offer no longer available. In summary, an offer of a regular, potentially weekly guide to invest in BITO, with potential for enormous profits was made. I can only surmise that after the first failed suggestion Opportunistic Trader decided they were incapable of meeting their promise of regular positive forecasts for BITO and therefore initially made no suggestions, and eventually moved to other areas, already covered in their platform. To me this is clear fraud on two fronts. I sent emails dated July 7,20 and 28 pointing out absence of suggestions for BITO and requesting a refund. The request for a refund was not answered. I have already lodged a complaint with the federal consumer protection bureau (FTC) It is a crime to advertise the sale of a Rolls Royce and later provide a Volkswagen. Similarly, it is a crime to promise winning tips for BITO on a weekly basis, and providing only one suggested trade for BITO in four months, and then without any prior explanation simply change the focus of the platform from BITO to other areas already covered in other much cheaper subscriptions. This guy bring s absolutely nothing to the table. His ego does not allow him to change directions. He buys puts/calls at least 3 months out , so evennwhen he’s wrong, which is most of 2023, he has a chance to salvage something. He fights the tape all the time. Stay away his calls are worthless.

I have the One Ticker Trader service but my problem Is while he was trying to sell a new service with presentation In July and gave a free recommendation. It was for BITO ETF It was almost as If he just guessed It was going to go up, I can do that myself. Well It went down eating my $224.00. Had he not recommended It I would never have bought It but he recommended It like he knew bitcoin was fixing to start a high move up generating volume transactions and that's what I rely on him for but he recommended wrong direction for one thing recommending a August 18 call @ $17.00 strike and It plummeted to $15.00 and Is not going to Skim any bitcoin gain. He says he knows nothing about cryptos but he also claimed he's been skimming on bitcoin using BITO ETF since 2021. It's lying In my book and I assumed he hired a expert on cryptos to operate his Bitcoin Skimming service. Don't quiet know how to deal with this because Investing Is a risk but In this case he Increased the risk for non subscribers to his new service. It seemed deliberate. I found exact date of recommendation was June 26th. I have lost a lot of money I took credit for loosing but this I feel was unnecessary and felt like a vindictive thing toward people only there for free recommendation. That's my thoughts. And to add: Today Is 08/17/ 2023 and BITO has officially gone to $14.63 as I am writing at 9:05 A.M. CST. In Texas. The Premium on the puts Is $2.32. I could be be rejoicing In a couple hundred dollars If I didn't buy a CALL. It's Bitcoin and It's BITO, Bitcoin has to make very significant move In either direction plain and simple. I thought he had possibly secured or hired a crypto expert to help him like Teeka Tiwari or Nilus Mative at Weiss Ratings which I have a subscription to. I have other subscriptions to other publishers writings Weiss Ratings Is one and others are free. This guy came across as all the suddenly he has become the expert and Is going to show you how to make money without risking not any of your money. The only person skimming Is Larry Benedict and you will find out If you join his service. He should have omitted the CALL status of the trade when he issued the free recommendation of [BITO230818"C"00017000]. I would have avoided It altogether or tried to give It more thought and analysis and I do have some clue on the cryptos I think but like I said, I thought he figured out what was going to take place over the weekend. He should pay everyone that fell for the trade back out of his own pocket, I don't think It would hurt him but more likely would help him. [By eliminating the call or put status of the trade I think It would be more ethical.] Simple as that. He put the C for a CALL In the recommendation and It only makes him look bad. I was not even considering doing anything with bitcoin or BITO and I was holding off from buying BITO which I have been buying since Its Inception In 2021. Larry Benedict you screwed this one up but you lived up to your claim of not knowing anything about cryptos. I'm sure your a much smarter person about stocks and ETF's and I will probably never catch up at 72 yrs. old but I have been looking at the cryptos for almost 3 yrs. now and I have over 50 different coins over thirty for free for learning about them. You should not have given any direction with that free trade on BITO, just my opinion and prudent advice to keep yourself out of disfavor among people for giving bad advice. Look what happened! the ETF went down and had I had not been given the advice with full detail to purchase a CALL I never would have entered trade. You may not really care but you have lost me as a future subscriber. Maybe I created a new rule from my own bad personal experience to protect regular Investors from a potential pitfall using a crypto ETF like a regular stock option that has some predictability. Isn't that what you want? The rule wouldn't hurt you or any other expert selling a recommendations service.

I subscribed as a non US citizen. I started receiving the emails immediately, however I was not even able to create an account due to a consistent error message. I emailed about 10 times, once requesting a refund (which is promised within 60 days if unsatisfied). Its been months and still no reply. I've never received any worthwhile information and I suppose I'll never get my refund. Absolute waste of time and quite possibly a scam wrapped in pretty bells, whistles and empty promises. I would not suggest anyone sign up for this.

Still using his One Ticker trading recommendations. Up 24% on last trade. I use $5000 balance and never use more than $1000 per trade. For the last 5 trades I am up 84% in 2023 including one loss on QQQ. I did get greedy on another trade with $10000 trade and I lost $6,000 and it was my fault. I didn’t follow his 20% recommendation. My mistake. I am going invest in the $2000 offer for Bitcoin skimming and the Opportunistic Trader recommendations. I will increase my risk capital to $20,000 for these new trade ideas. There is a enough knowledge here from Larry to be a good deal. I am an average investor/trader and use Larry’s recommendations as part of my approach.

Review of S&P Trader. This program is a complete misrepresentation. First, in the ad to get you to buy it, they say make one trade daily before 10 AM and go away. In reality, this is a full time job. The other misrepresentation is how they calculate the profits. You are given a number to use to make the trade and told not to chase a lower number. When they calculate their profits, they use a number which is 20% above what he sets. This difference results in a slight profit versus a loss which you will receive for a full time job. Do not get into any of these programs, they are all scams and losers. The one trade that looked like a winner was his quad trade done quarterly. Last week this also showed that he does not know what he claims. It lost 85% of what you invested.

I was charged 38$ instead of 19$, and guest what?. when I contacted my bank they informed me that they have put a monthly payment, thing I never agreed for. So I had to block my Credit Card. It's a real scam, the customer service never replay and no refund till now. Please Stay FAR FAR AWAY!

This company and Benedict is a real loser!! He has done nothing but lose a lot of money for me!! DANGER don’t do business with these sheisters!!! All they do is keep sending marketing and loser picks!!! Want to lose money listen to these losers!!! BAD

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I bought SPX Trader option which was a disaster. There would me multiple option calls in one day, which tells you to buy or sell spreads, and within a few hours you are asked to sell the contract because it's going south and you have already lost your money. You are then asked to buy a different spread. Its like changing rules in the middle of the game. People with small account cannot participate in this also because of the PDT rule.

I switch from SPX trader to the The Opportunistic Trader which allows one to buy straight just calls or puts, i thought this would be better but it has not worked for me either. The contracts are so expensive even people with large accounts don't buy such expensive contracts. They are way out in the future and ends up holding your money while you end up with a loss. It is really a scam game taking advantage of people who are struggling to learn this market.

I would advice anyone who is considering to buy this program, just hold on to your money and invest it in something else. You will not make any money with this program. And the worst part is that you don't get your money back and they bombard you with other sales tactics to buy different programs. I wish I had listen to my instincts before putting my $2K into this. I am very disappointed.

I signed up beginning of September 2022 believing I could do vertical spreads right away in TD Ameritrade/ThinkorSwim. I learned that I had to get certified to be able to do that.

While having a busy full time job and as a single mom, I finally managed to get certified to be able to do vertical spreads end of December 2022. Until then I was using the papermoney account.

I was disappointed with the trades recommended beginning of January. I saw some wins but most were losses.

Paying for this expensive subscription to loose money is definitely not worth it.

From the time I joined beginning of September 2022, I couldn't join the guadruple witch for September due to not being certified in TDAmeritrade. I wasn't able to join the quadruple witch in December 2022 even though I managed to get certified just before it either because I missed the recommended max price to pay for the option. That really sucked.

I did manage to join the quadruple witch for March 2023 and that only gave me 6% gain.

It was dissapointing to be more of loosing money with the daily trades recommendations and not much with quadruple witch when compared to other subscriptions where I'm able to get 15% gain and are more consistent wins.

Larry just recommended buying put options for QQQ but that's the best performing sector right now. While the dow and S&P have been down, the Nasdaq has actually been up so this recommendation is a real head scratcher.
