We booked the Malaga Only You Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We selected this hotel for two reasons: one the location, two the rooftop pool and bar. What we didn’t expect was that the hotel trades mainly for external clients not the hotel guest. We had a shocking experience on the sun loungers….arrived around 13.00 and settled in, it was not busy on the loungers, only six people. The others left around 15.00 and then we noticed the hotel staff removing the sun loungers. At the same time the rooftop bar became busy, really busy and loud. The staff then started putting tables and chairs around our sun loungers for outside guest to use. By now we were the only sun loungers on the roof surrounded by tables and chairs and drinkers, making us feel really uncomfortable. We were then told that we had to leave in the next 10 minutes , this was at 16.15. We upped and left. We booked this hotel to relax and chill out. When we mentioned our disappointment to the hotel staff we initially got a blank response: policy is loungers removed at 16.30. We were told that if we looked in the section Sky Bar it mentions the pool times. This needs to be advertised clearly on their web page, would never have booked the hotel had we know this. Very disappointing , if you are looking for a good hotel to feel pampered, relax and chill out, do not consider this hotel.

Para hacer la reserva había que llamar para reservar día y hora... en el bono ponía que era posible reservar de lunes a viernes no festivos ... cuando fui a reservar un día de marzo me dijeron que no era posible entre el día 1 al 23 de marzo porque eran fallas y que tampoco podía ser un viernes ... me pareció una tomadura de pelo ya que esto deberías ponerlo en las condiciones para reservar ... luego la comida ni fu ni fa para el precio que tiene ,,, el servicio bien y el sitio es bonito.
para no repetir ... y es que todas estas "experiencias" , tras a ver tenido algunas , me parecen una tomadura de pelo... ¡¡ NADA RECOMENDABLE ¡¡

Our stay at Only YOU Hotel Valencia from 6 to 8 January 2026 was our first time at this hotel, despite this being our eighth visit to Valencia. We stayed for two nights and were immediately struck by how central the location is, as well as the atmosphere. The hotel has a great vibe and a bold, stylish look that feels current without trying too hard. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a place that understands its guests.

We were initially allocated room 810 and unfortunately encountered a very unpleasant sewer-like smell. We reported it to the team and this is where the hotel truly showed its class. The staff reacted immediately, with courtesy, care, and real consideration. There was no friction, no need to repeat ourselves, and no hint of defensiveness. They moved us to another room straight away and also offered dining discounts without us having to ask.

When we arrived at the new room, there was a welcome treat waiting for us along with a written apology. That small gesture spoke volumes. Problems happen in hotels. What matters is how they are handled, and here it was handled perfectly. Calm, fast, and respectful. It turned a potential negative into a strong positive and left us feeling genuinely valued as guests.

Every single member of staff we encountered was outstanding. They were helpful, attentive, and genuinely warm. The breakfast team in the restaurant were excellent, and when they learned we were celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday, they went out of their way to make it special. They listened, they cared, and they delivered. The staff are the heartbeat of this hotel and they make it what it is. We have stayed in many hotels in Valencia, but this is now our go-to. Thank you to the entire team.
