We contacted David Farrel about equity release having found him listed by the equity release council. He outlined everything clearly but with no pressure at all, giving us very sound advice and guidance. Costs were also made very clear. Communication, phone, email and face to face, was always clear and timely. He also suggested Forever Legal solicitors to deal with the legalities, and we have been very pleased with their service too. All in all we could not have asked for better service and highly recommend.

Very poor service and a frustrating experience.

I sent all requested documents over promptly, but the process was extremely slow and I constantly had to chase for updates. After more than 8 days I was still waiting for a decision in principle that never arrived.

I was repeatedly told “I’ll get it done tonight” or given assurances that things were moving forward, but nothing actually happened. When dealing with something as important as a mortgage, clear communication and reliability are essential.

The service may work for very straightforward applications, but based on my experience the follow-up and urgency simply were not there. I eventually lost confidence and would not recommend.

My mortgage application was quite complex as my income is mainly from Company Dividends. Richard Davidson worked through all the issues and requirements and connected me with a suitable lender. After the introduction he continued to communicate well and remained pro-active. I could not fault any aspect of the service!! :)

I have used OMA to sort my life out. I wanted to remortgage my buy to let to release equity to fund a deposit oj a new mortgage. Let me tell you, I am countung my lucky stars after discovering Richard and Victoria, they have been superheros, guiding me seamlessly through 2 mortgages. I have ADHD and find reading forms and finding information highly stressful and difficult. Dealing with Ish was a pleasure in itself, he is a very professional and experienced mortgage broker who was able to explain the various different offers on the table for me. He found me a fantastic offer which resulted in an acceptance. April then dealt with the admin after that and guided me through the process of obtaining an EPC in order for mortgage to be approved. They were both superstars and I've now decided to use them again for my residential mortgage.
