I have been an Olliv customer since they first began. They are part of the Coin Flip ATM family. Now, they sent me a warning about 1.5 months ago that they were going to retire the wallet. I am a very experienced crypto holder and I know how to migrate one wallet to another. I have done that successfully several times with no trouble. They sent me directions to how to take the funds off the wallet. It seemed simple enough, synch the wallet with the seed words then migrate to the other wallet. You needed password if you made one. WELL I did that
several times. I was not making mistakes, I had the seed words, the password, and the correct wallets to go to. Never worked. I got my friend to try who is an expert on wallets and cryptocurrencies. He could not make it work. I spend at least 6 hours on the phone with OLLIV support. They could only tell me to follow the steps. I DID THAT! I see this nothing more than a heist of my funds on the wallet. Is Coin Flip in such financial trouble that they have to steal from our wallets?? When I talked to the support, it sounded like they knew my seed words. This was supposed to be a non-custodial wallet. I gave OLLIV and COIN FLIPS good reviews in the past. This little experience has soured me towards them and I will never trust them again. Now I didn't lose that awful much BUT it is the principal of the thing.
Decided to give crypto a try a year ago, and went with Olliv. My small initial purchase has grown quite a bit, but I've never been able to get any of it back out. Every sell transaction has failed. The last one that failed earlier this week, the money never deposited back to my account to boot. Now they sent customers an email saying they are shutting down, and according to customer service, the only thing you are allowed to do at this point is transfer your wallet to a new wallet with another company using the seed phrase. I've had absolutely no luck in being able to make that happen, no matter what I've tried.
Scammed my money. Deposited into wallet and have exact pictures of seedphrase only for it to not be accessible after purchase/deposit. Support is limited availability despite their 24/7 support claims. Nonsense
I HAVE USED MY WALLET A FEW TIMES NOW IT SAYS MY WALLET IS NO LONGER COMPATIBLE SO I HAVE TO TRANSFER TO A DIFFERENT WALLET IT WILL NOT LET ME DO THAT EITHER MY FUNDS ARE FROZEN SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I could give them negative stars I would. Fast to take your money. I have attempted two times to sell my crypto to my back and it have failed two times. Neither time have they put my money back into my wallet. The last fail was on the 25th of sept. Its the 4th or Oct and still have not put my money back. said I need to call back on the 7th and they may have more information.
Horrible from the very beginning. The only reason I tried this platform was to take advantage of their deal of doing a BTC swap on their little exchange and getting an extra ten dollars worth of BTC for it. So I put about $15 worth in, and thankfully that’s all I put in. As soon as the money showed up in the account I couldn’t do anything with it. Couldn’t send, swap, or sell my BTC. Whatever I tried to do just keep getting a message saying I have insufficient funds to do that, even when I just try to send a dollar of BTC. Have spoken with customer service several times they gave me a couple suggestions like trying it on a desktop, but none of them worked. Then they told me that they were aware of the problems and that they would be fixed with the first update. The first update has come and my money is still untouchable sitting in the account. It’s extremely frustrating.
