On March 1st, 2025, you charged my #PayPalDispute #PayPal account $948 USD following a free trial that I was unable to cancel via your mobile platform.
You did not send any prior email warning or invoice, nor did you make the cancellation process clear or accessible.
This is in violation of Article 6 of the European Directive 2011/83/EU, which requires:

Clear and accessible cancellation conditions,

Transparent pre-contractual information,

Express consent before any payment is charged.

I am a single mother of two. Because of this unauthorized charge, I was evicted from my home, lost work opportunities, and have lived in financial and emotional distress for over a month.

Despite several messages and having provided all documentation (including a letter from my landlord), I’ve received no direct resolution, no refund, and no empathy.

I now demand:

Full refund of $948 USD

$2,000 USD in compensation for damages, including:

Housing loss

Psychological harm (documented stress and insomnia)

Loss of income and repeated efforts to recover this payment

If I do not receive a clear resolution from your team within 24h, I will move forward with:

Filing complaints with the #MEIC in Costa Rica,

Reporting your platform to #PHAROS and the #DGCCRF in France,

Publishing a detailed review of my experience on #Trustpilot, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

I sincerely hope this can be resolved directly and respectfully.

Do not buy at all: all the advertised features are not available, there is no support, and you cannot get a prorated refund based on usage.

Do NOT purchase a trial with this company.

On the final day of my trial, I couldn't access the website to cancel my trial. My card is then charged with £150 and they refuse to give you back your money on the grounds it's in their Ts&cs.

Which I understand, but it's the principle of doing the right thing and having good customer service. They're clearly desperate for money and don't care how they get it.

Avoid this company.

Still advertising with Tiktok scheduling (since a few years) - still not availible. Instagram scheduling does not work (post simply doesnt appear on feed!

This is a fraud. Stay away

never again. worst service for social media i have ever seen. not to mention there support is just inexistent. they have basic things for social media on roadmap for over 3 years. and they say "partnered with tiktok" on their homepage and it's not even inside. same for google my business and all. they just lie to get customers. "over 30 integrations ... " - but the "offical partnered with" section is best lie ever.

Scam Company. Subscription cancellation is disabled.

Absolutely hopeless app and customer service. Ocoya provides a very limited experience to their users. The features they have are 10 years behind any other social media management platform.

Do you want to schedule instagram reels and have them show up in you Insta feed? Sorry no can do. Do you want to upload in highest quality to instagram? Nup no way. Do you want to spend hundreds of dollars for a horrible software with zero customer support? Yes you are in luck.

I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. Its horrible. STAY AWAY!

Ocoya is a scam, their COO is a scam artist and a liar, and you should stay away.

good combination of products but the software could be improved.

It has the bones of something good - but ultimately it doesn't work. We paid for a year in advance, and as soon as our 'free trial' period ended so did the functionality and support.

In short, meta data isn't pulled through from links added in social posts, so if you want to share a webpage, blog or article your post shows on the social network with no image, title or description.

I contacted support saying this was an essential feature for us, they reassured us this was a temporary issue and was being fixed, this was 5 months ago. Support no longer reply. Live chat is set to messages only, there is no other way to contact them.

I have left numerous messages asking for a refund as we're having to pay for another tool that WORKS while out of pocket for this one. We are a micro company and this stings a little if I'm honest.

So I wanted to warn others against working with them... We were happy to try a smaller company that seemed to offer a great deal, but now we're moving to a mainstream competitor. It's a shame they couldn't get this right because I think the concept was solid - execution poor - customer support awful... Lessons to be learned here, Ocoya!

In all honesty, I would give 0 stars if I could.

I'm facing the same issue as what some other users have posted which means my issue with Ocoya isn't an isolated incident.

I bought a LTD code from AppSumo back in March and redeemed and activated the code.

5 days ago, I logged into my Ocoya account and saw that I was downgraded to the free plan. I tried entering my LTD code and it showed "Invalid promo code"

I emailed Ocoya Support about my issue and Zainab from Ocoya support replied that he had forwarded my issue to their "Specialist" ... whatever that meant.

That was on 17th July.

On 18th July, after having no solution, I again contacted Ocoya support and Zainab told me "Hi Terence, I have forwarded this to the specialist team immediately and asked them to prioritize this issue. Someone from the team will be getting back to you ASAP."

19th July. My patience is running thin. I mean how difficult is it to give me back access to something I paid for?

I again asked about my issue and Zainab's reply?

"Hi Terence, I completely understand where you’re coming from. I sincerely apologize for the delay. The team is trying their best to get this resolved ASAP."
"I’ve requested them to have this resolved by today."

It's now 21st July and I've sent multiple emails to Ocoya asking about my account and guess what?

TOTAL SILENCE!

Whatever happened to Ocoya Support's "promise" to get this resolved ASAP and by "today" (today by the way meant 19th July).

I hate to say this but I honestly feel these guys at Ocoya are scammers.
And seems I'm not the only one facing the issue of having my account downgraded to the free plan and not getting the support we should be getting.

Ocoya, if you sell LTD codes, for god's sake honour your deal and give us the access we paid for!

Fellow readers, my advice?
Stay far far away from Ocoya unless you want your account to be downgraded to a free account with no prior warning and you like the idea of non-existent support that takes you for a ride with promises that are never fulfiled.

They've been stringing along and lying to customers about implementing features. As an example google business has been promised now for over a year...

They came to appsumo to raise money back at the start of the year. They promised Google business pages was coming in the comments.

Then they announce in February they are "partnering" with a 3rd party to provide the google business functionality to be expected in March...

They claim on their website they support Google business pages...

Reading back through the comments on the roadmap, they've been stringing people a long for a very long time.

Worst customer service. I bought and have been using this app for 2 years. I have integrated social media channels at least 50 times. They constantly have issues posting to certain channels. They tell me that my lifetime deal was never purchased, even with my receipts. They want. monthly fee. I have been asking their customer service to fix it. They send me 1 comment a day about my issue. So either everyone is messaging them about their shady services, or they just don't care. STAY AWAY from OCOYA

They suspended me from the facebook group, AGAIN, for literally just asking when they would update the API to support creator accounts.

This company is a complete fraud. They haven't updated anything in years and everyone keeps pointing that out.

I was gonna update my star count to 3 but this company suspended me from the Facebook group after posting my review. That speaks to the maturity of the admins and support you get. They literally took retaliation against a user for a review.

It's probably one of the better social media scheduling platforms I have used. My main account I have enjoyed. Clean UI, great A.I. implementations, fully featured. The potential is easy to see and appreciate.

The issue is terribly slow and unhelpful support. I can't even call it support. It's a chat team that then delegates work to developers. They say "live support" when they just igonore you if they don't feel like dealing with you.

I mean, this support is so bad and slow that you do not even want to participate with the platform. They answer once and then wait 2-3 days or more to respond again. I have been waiting a week plus for a response back sometimes.

Joe will talk to you like you're stupid, ignore the messages you've sent, or simply imply that you are the one doing something wrong for an error to occure, and seems to just lie sometimes or does not know what is or isn't going on.

I had a relatively simple and easy account issue that needed resolved that has never, with any other application or support team, taken so long or been this difficult to get done.

With one issue, all your time and investment can feel deterred, leaving you wanting to change platforms.

I would be cautious when concidering this application. Again, great product. Premium platform but your time and energy will be drastically drained dealing with any kind of support related issue.

I resolved the issue myself. I had to actually buy into another account to fix my original account issue. Instead I am facing an additional issue where noone is able to add me to any workspace.

My partner and I may abandon using the app because support is just not repsonsive or helpful. I have barley been able to properly use this application at all since trying to work with a partner.

Ocoya is the tool you want when it comes to managing your own or your Clients Social Media Profiles.

Absolutely no support. I work with 75 profiles and reconnecting contineously is a nightmare. One minute gifs work - then they thro an error message. DO NOT waste your money on this product.

Great tool, use it for a year and am very satisfied. The AI-generated content does a solid job and saves an incredible amount of time in content creation. Gladly more of it :)
