NZ Courier need to apologise and be accountable for the inconveniences they cause for undelivered parcels.

Expecting people to pick them up or deliver the parcels 3 days later is not acceptable.

Sick of the mishaps

One of our suppliers uses this company. They simply just will not deliver to our address which is literally 1km from their Highbrook warehouse. We have to chase them up and then go ourselves and collect from their Hub in Highbrook or Manukau. Clearly their drivers are just too lazy and dont care about customer service which is highlighted by their abysmal rating on Trustpilot. Why anyone uses this company is beyond me

Courier rego NBB235 is the worst delivery driver totally inconsiderate throws package at door doesn’t even have the courtesy of knocking on door…not worth a single star for the shit service NZ COURIER provide totally pathetic…

They threw my package onto my front lawn at 7.20 am this morning, instead of putting it into my very large mail box. It rained during the day but I had no idea my package was out there, as no email or text alerts came through to tell me package had been delivered. Someone in my family happened to see it outside at about 4pm. It was a very small package and could easily have got lost as well as very wet. Very angry and disappointed that they didn't treat my package with respect.

I have been awaiting a parcel to be delivered but it was delivered to the wrong address (which I have photographic evidence for). Called up the customer service and they said they would get the driver to uplift the parcel to deliver it to the correct address and am still waiting. Contacted the customer service again which I got the reply that the driver said they delivered to the correct address which is false as no one has come to my door or put it in the letterbox.

I paid to have something sent from Auckland to Wellington. I checked to see that it had arrived the following day in Wellington and it was "out for delivery" with 'Courier 422'. Nothing arrived that day and the following day, at 4pm in the afternoon it had still not arrived. I rang NZC and got put through to Christchurch. I asked where the parcel was, and I was told they didn't know as the people in Christchurch couldn't speak to the Wellington Drivers. They are really frustrating to deal with and customers are regarded as an interruption to a peaceful life.

Saw parcel was delivered, but not at my door. Had to walk down my long drive in rain to find it in my letterbox. Couriers aren't meant to deliver Door to letterbox, and I am a pensioner. This company as bad as Aramax.

The most horrible experience ever.
They sent it to the wrong location and haven't even found my parcel for a MONTH now and all they are saying it to wait and that they are trying their best. They have only just sent a search now that I am calling like 10 times. They still havent found it and their help centre is just absolute rage bait. They hang up mid call and dont give you the details or information about your product properly because they just dont want to accept the fact that they lost my product. All they say is to ask the sender not themselves! when they are the ones who wrongly delivered my parcel!!! NEVER USE NZ COURIERS

A customer of mine uses NZ Couriers and supplies a return ticket with their product.
1/ There is no simple online booking form/service for non registered customers; I can only call in and make a manual booking.
2/ They never pick up and only after three days when I lose my patience and I call in and complain, so I give them plenty of time. An hour after I phone in for the second time and complain, a Post Haste van arrives and collects the parcel, I never see an NZ courier van. One time I complained while I placed the booking and it still took three days and I had to call in again. Sheesh
3/ The depot is only 3.5km away from our home on Google Maps.
Why I never personally use NZ Couriers.

I wish I could give ZERO STARS to this business. I had a business account with monthly usage of $5k plus. They are short of drivers even in urban areas, their driver showed all the tantrums everyday and missed the pickups on regular basis and lied to his Field Manager that package was not available for pickup. I even provided CCTV footage to the account manager but due shortage of drivers they decided to drop my business to retain their useless driver. To retreriate our business is in Central Auckland & it is a busy route, despite of that they could not arrange another driver to retain the business. SHAME ON NZ COURIER. I have moved to ARAMEX and they are 1000 times better than these unprofessional bunch of people. NZ Couriers are highly Unreliable and toxic to deal with.

NZC in Taupo makes me wonder why I would ever think about sending parcels especially overseas by NZPost! Celeste the company representative was exceptional in her service, helpful, friendly and efficient. Recently used the PO What a rigmarole!! Government can’t seem to run anything well yet happy to charge high price. I recommend NZ Courier for your Christmas parcels!!

Horrendous experience sending documents to Australian Tax Authority for pension transfer. In a time when there has to be some much security around personal information re identity theft NZ Courier “lost” the documents. What is the point and value of paying for Track and Trace Service when this happens. No-one has taken any interest, or responsibility . International office in Auckland saying speak to the Branch, Branch saying speak to International office. Called the GM’s office of NZ Courier his EA said they’d call back - no call back. Then received a call from Auckland saying it’s lost, nothing more can be done, will refund the courier cost……. There is no follow up to attempted to “trace” my documents or interest in doing so! Now need to pay for a whole lot of re-notarising of documents to send off again, and who knows where all this sensitive information is now???

TRACK and TRACE CANNOT be TRUSTED……

Horrible service, not even bother to deliver it to the rural address rather leave a card in the mailbox.

Last week NZ Couriers sat on an overnight delivery for 6 days contacting no one as they thought the delivery address might be wrong. WHY NOT ASK?

Yesterday I booked a pickup using their online system, paid and got a confirmation and a label to print. Now they say the job is not in their system.

Later yesterday I booked another pickup using their nline system, paid and got another confirmation nd a label to print. They say that this job is ALSO NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM.

They HIDE BEHIND THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT STAFF, they have no place to handle complaints which pretty much says it all about their desire to improve

Delivery OK tracking tool waste of time.
I have had two deliveries in the last two weeks from Hong Kong to Otago. Both have been delayed after reaching Auckland.The latest one tracking said it was received by NZ couriers from FedEx and 10 minutes later was back with FedEx where it stayed for 24 hours. The previous one, 48 hours after release and 3 on the way notifications, was scanned as being at the North Island out of delivery area depot. (I am not out of delivery and am in the South Island) 1 and a half hours later it was delivered.I suggest they have a serious look at there on line tracking tool. Until the consignment reaches the stage of being out for delivery it is next to useless.

DO NOT USE NZ COURIERS!

I had to send through medical test results and a prepaid bag was included. I contacted NZ Couriers to arrange a pickup from my address. After 3 days, nobody had come to collect. I contacted them every day during that period and was told each time that it had been escalated. On the 3rd day I was told it was escalated to management but still no driver showed up. I ended up driving to the depot and dropping it off myself. I also found out that the courier driver in my area didn’t have my address on their rounds for that day. Terrible service. Avoid!

I’ve been waiting for my parcel since the estimated delivery date four days ago, but the courier only tried to deliver it today.
The shop arranged the courier pickup on the same day the order was placed, but the courier took another three days just to collect the parcel.

There was no option on the tracking page to choose a delivery method (like leaving it in a safe place). If you miss the delivery, you have to look up the local depot’s number yourself and call to arrange redelivery — and it can’t be done the next day, it takes two days!

At the very least, they should leave a missed delivery card. Ideally, the tracking page should also have a redelivery request link or at least list the local depot number to call.

I usually use NZ Post or Aramex, so I was honestly shocked by how inconvenient this process was. It might be a cheap and easy option for the sender, but from the customer’s side, it’s really not a good choice.

Signature required delivery was signed by courier driver and left unattended at property. Parcel went missing.

No answer when trying to call, but received a relatively quick reply via email which was at least something

The fact remains that paying for a signature required service to ensure safe delivery is a waste of money. No accountability other than apologising for the oversight and ensuring the issue has been addressed.

We have a scan tag out of sight at the front door and these guys don't have the ability to leave the parcel so it can't be seen from the road. Have tried to talk to the driver but might as well be on another planet , poor service will try to get my supplier to change companies.
