The staff, from the full patient journey from phone call with Sami to entry into a warm greetings at reception with Sami and Daria, then being met by my new dentist Tina and Sofia dental nurse. I have had trauma with dentist since a child and I was treated here with no judgement and no shame. The plan is a steady treatment plan explained slowly for me to understand and I have come away knowing I made the best life changing decision by moving to this practice and still feel at ease I am not obligated to stay if I dont want to. Caring means more.

I cannot praise this dental practice enough.

I have been a patient for around seven years and have always had a good experience. It is clear that true care for patients is part of the cultural DNA of the practice, with every dentist, nurse and receptionist exhibiting these qualities throughout my time as a patient here.

My current dentist is Dr Ioanna Yiallouridou and it is not an exaggeration to say that she has cured my fear of dental treatment; maybe forever. I have been afraid of attending the dentist for many years after having more than one bad experience. I always needed to learn to trust my dentist before I could relax at all and this would take many tense visits gripping onto the chair until my arms hurt. By the time I first met Dr Ioanna, I had also recently experienced a significant medical trauma and I burst into tears even when she asked me to open my mouth. (I was so bad at the time that when I went to see a specialist at a different practice, he refused to treat me unless I had psychotherapy first). Somehow, with her gentle and non-judgmental treatment and care, I not only feel safe in her very capable hands, I feel calm and have even laughed uncontrollably in her chair.

When Dr Ioanna was not available, I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Bodane and I sat in the chair calmly with no trace of nerves. This is testament to the many ways in which Dr Ioanna has healed me, but also how at ease Dr Bodane made me feel.

Both wonderful, caring dentists that I recommend highly, especially if you are nervous.

I'm not quite sure how to start, but since I was a child, dental problems have been a part of my life, mainly because my parents didn't emphasize regular brushing. This led to multiple fillings over the years. At 39, I faced the challenge of needing to update the fillings on my four front teeth due to their age. A former dentist decided to use a veneer on one of my front teeth instead of just replacing a minor filling, without asking me. This left the tooth looking awkwardly long and bulky, which took a toll on my self-esteem, as smiling is something I adore. Seeking a better solution, I turned to private dental care and found myself at this practice. Ioanna Yiallouridou, the dentist, and Angela, the nurse, were exceptionally kind and professional. They transformed my front teeth beyond what I had imagined, and I was genuinely impressed with the outcome. At every appointment, the dentist updated me on the treatment's progress and ensured my satisfaction, which I wholeheartedly felt. The pricing was completely clear, without any surprise fees, so I knew all costs in advance. I sincerely suggest these amazing ladies to anyone; their work is outstanding, and now my smile is wider than ever!

A previous dentist opted for a veneer instead of replacing a small filling on one of my front teeth without consulting me, making it look bulky and unnaturally long. This significantly impacted my confidence, as I've always loved to smile. I decided to explore private dental care and visited this practice.The dentist, Ioanna Yiallouridou, along with the nurse Angela, were incredibly nice, friendly, and professional. The work done on my front teeth surpassed my expectations, leaving me truly impressed. During each visit, the dentist kept me informed about the treatment progress and consistently checked if I was satisfied with the results, which I absolutely was. The pricing was transparent, so I knew the exact cost upfront and experienced no unexpected charges. I genuinely recommend visiting these ladies; they're exceptional, and now my smile is as big as ever!

A bit late in posting this but this was well deserved. I had my dental veneers and smile makeover here last year, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very first consultation, the team took the time to listen to my concerns about my teeth and explained all the options in detail. I was nervous at first, but their professionalism and warm approach put me completely at ease.

The process of getting porcelain veneers was smooth, pain-free, and far quicker than I expected. Dr. Anima was extremely skilled and precise, making sure every detail was perfect so my new smile looked natural yet stunning.

What I love most is the confidence my new smile has given me—I feel like a completely new person. Friends and colleagues have already complimented me, and many couldn’t even tell I had veneers because they look so natural.

Brilliant ! I have been going here for the past 2 years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else as my skin has changed for the better since having Botox at NW1 Dental Care.My skin looks much better and my Botox looks very subtle yet extremely effective face and rejuvenated. My whole experience with NW1 has been welcoming, kind, thoughtful and considerate. Dr Bruna works in a very person centered way aligning my teeth to what looks most natural, suits me best and gaurantees the overall health and longevity of my teeth. I was not an easy patient suffering from significant bone loss and recession but I had full confidence in her gentle care, patience, and advice. The team work well together with additional tooth restoration and maintenence overseen by Dr Ioanna. One feels truly seen and cared for by this team of women including the loveliest receptionists in London!

100000% recommend!!! NW1 have been so informative and tentative to my needs. My smile is incredible, I suffered with crowding and had the best treatment. In particular Dr Bruna has provided the best treatment and made me feel so comfortable.

I doing know where to start.
I have had issues with my teeth since I was little as my parents didn’t encourage or made a routine to brush our teeth. So I have quite few fillings since then. I am 39 now. I needed fillings replaced in my 4 front teeth as the ones I had were very old and also couple years ago the dentist (from the other practice) put a veneer rather than changing the small filling on one of my front teeth(without consulting me) and therefore made one of them very bulky and much longer it looked awful and made loose my confidence as I was always a person who loved to smile:). I have decided to try private and came to this practice.
The dentist name was Ioanna Yiallouridou and the nurse Angela. I have never met such nice people friendly, kind, professional. My front teeth that the work was done was done amazingly. The work that has been done exceeded my expectations. Throughout every appointment the dentist updated me on my progress of treatments and always asked if I was happy with the outcome. Which of course I was. The price was set so I knew exactly how much the treatments will cost me, and there were no surprises! I could honestly say you should go and see these lady’s because they are the best. And now I am myself and always with the biggest 😀

had a fear of dentists for many years - and after an initial emergency appointment a year ago here, I’m now happily and confidently on my way to having all my dental issues addressed. I cannot stress enough how comfortable I have been made to feel, everything is discussed clearly with me beforehand, including costs and any follow-up treatments. The staff, and my dentist Dr Ionna in particular, are all professional, warm, empathetic and as gentle as can be. I trust them implicitly.

Finished my Invisalign treatment and then got porcelain veneers to get an amazing smile transformation. Very pleased with results and have got loads of people complimenting on the new look. Amazing job and very good service. Thanks NW1 Dental Care team !!

This review is long overdue. My experience was so terrible that I wish I contacted the ombudsman to make a complaint at the time. I had a consultation to get a filling and once the x rays were done I was told to come back another day to get the filling. I came back and the dentist started working on putting a filling in another tooth. I explained that it was the wrong tooth that she said needed a filling. She then back tracked and said both teeth needed fillings - one upper tooth and one lower tooth! That was a total of £300. I had registered as an NHS patient and was intimidated to pay, not knowing whether this was private or NHS charges. I was so shocked to later find that the dentist had put amalgam on the upper tooth and white composite on filling on the lower tooth. She had told me both would be white composite and I paid for that. To be deceived like that and to be in the hands of a dentist who didn’t know which tooth to work on was very unsafe and unsettling. I would warn anyone going to this dentist to be very careful and to feel confident in talking through the procedure, prices and feeling comfortable to go ahead and not feel intimidated or pushed into something you didn’t ask for. I am still having issues with my fillings to this day. I regret not speaking up!

I have been a patient/client since June 2020 and the service has just been amazing. I’ve seen Dr Ioanna Yiallouridou for composite bonding to close gaps between my teeth (which has been a major insecurity for me
for many years) and she has done a great job. I’ve routinely seen her for follow ups like deep teeth cleaning, etc..and she does such an amazing job!
Also the receptionists are very lovely and welcoming too!

Rubbish! I've been a patient there since about 2006-2007, happy with their service until yesterday: £190 for my biannual routine check and hygiene!! I got back home feeling like I had been robbed.
6 months earlier the same treatment cost me £145, which was already expensive anyway.
And yesterday was just the cherry on the cake.
The receptionist doesn't have any customer services skills at all as they don't listen and, in fact, they are very clever in customer servicing you with false empathy while simply interested in taking the money off you and "suggesting" subscribing on a £24/month instead so "you can avoid that next time".
How did they justify the steep charges? Within 6 months they had yet another increase in general prices, plus the "support" for PPE that burdens the patients (that's 100% unfair, if you ask me) and, the best, some odd £40 only for an application of fluoride varnish, this last item I was blamed for as "I should have asked while on the dentist chair about the cost". For a bit of paste!?! So, x-ray which they charge £10 are cheaper than a tiny quantity of paste?!!
As I didn't get any satisfaction face-to-face, neither from my follow up phone call on my way back home, trying to bring to their attention once again that £190 was close to extortion, then a no reply to my follow up email (possibly deleted, instead of raising it with the owners), I've decided to use public reviews and make everyone aware of my experience. Unfortunately, the lowest is 1-star but please do consider this as a zero-star review.
When asked to give me a breakdown of the charges, there was, as I have recently experienced with them, loads of mumbling in the explanation, vague and fast talking so that, in the end, one gives up and, frustrated, just ends up paying.
The other thing that has driven me away is that new policy they have which forces you to pay a deposit when booking with them. Again, tried to explain that I never had to do that and it doesn't really make sense because it's not like I'm booking a haircut or a restaurant so that I don't show up. If I call a dentist that means I need that appointment so, unless I die, it's very unlikely I won't be there on the day and the deposit is a very bad customer experience because of that. "You've never paid deposit?!!! Really??!! How did that happen?!!" (ed.: possibly because I was a patient before you time?!) "I know, it's the system, it's annoying, but I cannot reserve your place if you don't pay the deposit."
As per my email to them, again with no response in 24 hours, I will no longer use their service which is a shame as, indeed, the quality is very good otherwise I would not have returned for 13+ years.
I did announce that over the phone too, the only thing I was told was "I'm sorry to hear that. Goodbye".
A recommendation to everybody, make sure you get a clear list of charges before even thinking about using their services, ideally in writing.
