NV Energy. What a horrible energy company! They have so many long outages and charge high prices for no energy. It's like they break down every week with something. It's really unfortunate that they are the only electricity company here, or I would go somewhere else. I run medical equipment, and with no energy, it affects my health in a big way. I would give them a big sarcastic thank you, but it would be a wasted breath, and I need my breath because my equipment is not working!

Since 2022, I've been letting the wife pay the power bill today. My power bill's almost $400, so I do some research. They've been charging us for solar that we Don 't even have. We've never had solar. We tried to get it and the minute we got approved for 33 panels. They denied the program because we 're going to cut their stingy ass out of it. Everyone needs to check the back of their bill. They're charging you for shit, you don't even have or use. But if everybody pulls up, Google Maps look by nellas, air force base, there's enough. Solar fields over there to run Las Vegas for the next 10 years. Why are we paying so much for power? When nevada power ran nevada, at least they knew the residents didn't deserve to be treated like the shitty casino owners, and the shitty people that come from out a shitty different states to run up our power bill and water. How do we get a petition to get another company to get nv energy out of Nevada?

I was disappointed with NV Energy’s handling of our Equal Pay plan after a major energy-efficiency upgrade.

In July, we replaced our 22-year-old air conditioning units with brand-new, high-efficiency systems. Our Equal Pay amount had been reviewed in June, just before the new units were installed, so the payment was based on our prior usage with the old, inefficient equipment.

When I contacted NV Energy to request an adjustment, I was told they would not review the amount outside their standard review schedule. I understand that Equal Pay plans are reviewed periodically, including at the six- and 12-month points, but the published information does not clearly explain that customers cannot request an off-cycle review after a significant change in expected energy use.

There should be a reasonable exception process for major upgrades that materially reduce consumption. Customers who invest heavily in energy-efficient equipment should not be required to continue paying an amount based on outdated usage for months before the plan can be reconsidered.

At a minimum, this limitation should be clearly disclosed. Better still, NV Energy should allow an off-cycle review when a customer can document a substantial change in energy usage.

What a poorly run company. We leased a warehouse and simply needed to transfer service into our business name. After calling twice, I was told to email them. Every response came through an encrypted message system that I couldn't even open or read.

A basic account transfer should not be this difficult. Instead of solving the problem, they created more obstacles. Extremely frustrating experience and a complete waste of time.

Because your website is NOT SECURE I CAN NO LONGER LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT (WTF IS WRONG WITH YOUR WEB CARRIER?) YOU HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE NOW FOR ABOUT A YEAR WITHOUT CHANGING YOUR SECURE SERVER OR CORRECTING THIS ISSUE. SHAME ON YOU!!!!! ARE YOU LAZY OR JUST DON'T GIVE A DARN? (rhetorical)

Prices kep going up for no reason, no investment in clean/renewable energy, poor customer service... need I go on...? PHUCK these guys, they only report to shareholders and their board...

I want the daily demand charge challenged, NV energy should not be allowed to profit off of the grid problems that they created. They are ripping us off and it needs to stop. Why should consumers have to pay for corporate mistakes? Who is looking out for us?

NV Energy has become one of the most disappointing and predatory utility companies I’ve ever dealt with. Their new daily demand charge is absolutely outrageous, illegal, and it punishes regular families for simply using basic appliances in their own homes. Bills are already high, and instead of helping the community, they’ve added a confusing, unfair fee that hits low-income and fixed-income customers the hardest.

What makes it even worse is the total lack of transparency. NV Energy keeps claiming they have a “deficit” because of solar customers, yet their own public documents don’t even match. They’ve already been caught overcharging Nevadans by tens of millions in the past, and now we’re just supposed to trust them again?

The Public Utilities Commission ignored overwhelming public objections and approved this anyway, which says a lot. It truly feels like NV Energy can do whatever it wants, and customers have no voice or protection.
I’m beyond frustrated. This company does not care about the people it serves only its profits. Nevada deserves better than this. I hope the Attorney General’s Office steps in because regular residents are being taken advantage of.

What went wrong...EV Energy went wrong. The staff has little to no respect for the consumer. I have written notes on my return stub to no avail. They continue to turn a blind eye and deaf year. After Covid the billing cycle I believe changed. I got my current will today the 9/20/25. It is due on the 9/26/23. Well there is no mail tomorrow (Sunday) meaning it has to go out in the mail on 9/22. On line it states customers are typically given 3 to 5 business days to pay their NV Energy bill. Payments are due and payable on or before the due date printed on the bill. THIS IS SO UNFAIR TO CONSUMERS. Wake up NV and see how the economy is these days. In today's economy it may be impossible to pay pills in such a short period of time. Will someone please wake up the dumb CEO's and bring this to their attention.

I requested Time of Use after purchasing two EV vehicles in my house. There was absolutely no communication whether Time of Use requested online is in progress. About one month after, I checked NV energy app, then I find out that I need to pay $973.82 more per year by switching. I called NV energy again and spoke with person named Johnny. He said it will take 1-2 billing cycles to going back to the original plan. He could not explain why changing time of use will dramatically increase my energy bill. NV energy is poorly run monopoly company in Nevada. I believe that NV Energy has extremely lack of customer service and there is no transparency.
