I was introduced to the brand via many youtube channels and reviews, and man, they were right.
shoes are way better than the DcM, no comparison, just the better leather quality and the shank structure of the sole made them way more robust and comfortable. I had an accident with mine, extensive use while doing dog runs maybe, and the customer service answer to my incident was a full warranty coverage in a matter of minutes. top quality, top service support, top sincere and nice communication (I pestered for weeks prior to my purchase enquiring about boot structure to accept my orthos special inner soles) never flinching, always nice and best boot for money ;) this is my third pais, I can only have to make more space in the wardrobe for more

upgrading for my old Gettagrips

looking for an upgrade for my early 90's steel toe cap GettaGrip boots, I seen these Black Greasy Steel Toe Capped Gibson Shoe online & I read that I needed to size down half size so a size 10 should fit me purchased on Wednesday afternoon & received them Friday morning (very fast) , now normally I wear Air Max 1's & 95's for comfort so I was dreading putting these on but I also purchased Solovair's Leather Cushioned Insoles which is just so unbelievable comfortable anyway so glad I found these Shoes it's such a relief that they are so comfy

Gorgeous boots, broke immediately.

*EDITED* Platform boots I bought were apparently faulty, but customer service was amazing and I had a response to my return request in less than 24 hours. I’m really upset the boots didn’t work out, but I am pleased with the outcome, and I would definitely consider buying from this company again. Great service from Solovair! :)

Really really disappointed :( I bought these after doing research to find shoes that would last me a long time, and they have reviews for being one of the better brands. Went through the pain and blisters of breaking them in, and after about two weeks of owning them, the sole and the edge of the boots have become unattached. I wanted to swap them for a different pair- hoping it was just a one-off issue, but I can’t because they are no more of my size. I understand there’s only so many pairs available at a time, but now I have to return them and then wait for them to come back in stock if I wanted to try again with these shoes. Really upsetting because I LOVE the way these shoes look, haven’t found other brands that have shoes that look as cool as this, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of waiting for the shoe to restock and then be delivered, break them in again (so so so much pain) just for the shoe to potentially break again after two weeks.

There was an issue with my order and Solovair went above and beyond helping rectify the situation. Also they make the best darn boots in the world!

I had recently purchased a pair of shoes from Solovair when I discovered a manufacturing defect. On an otherwise good quality product.

The customer support immediately answered my request, acknowledging an issue on one of their lots.

In the end I opted for a full refund, which they promptly granted.

One of the best customer supports I’ve ever had the chance to deal with.
Overall I will highly recommend Solovair as a brand, as well as their product, despite my unfortunate experience.

The service experience everyone should expect

I´ve already bought different shoes from this manufacturer without a single issue. Last time the shoes had an issue and had to be returned. Now, the new shoes just arrived, and they are absolutely flawless—simply perfect.

I had already heard great things about the Solovair service, but this experience has exceeded all expectations. It’s not often that you come across something so positive nowadays.

I’ll definitely continue to choose shoes from this company in the future and I plan to recommend them to friends and colleagues as well.

Excellent shoes

Excellent shoes, wonderful customer service !
I had an issue with one of my shoes, and the heel broke after only a few months. A few messages with the customer service and I had a new pair shipped, no charge. Shout-out to Viv and Karen from Customer Service !

Fantastic products, Fantastic company

The customer service and speed of delivery is exceptional.

7.22 am 24/03/26 I ordered a pair of Cherry Red Hi-Shine 8 Hole Derby Boots.

2.59pm on the 25/03/26 they were delivered and no I didn't pay for express delivery.

On opening up the box and taking a good look at the boots I noticed a cosmetic imperfection. Nothing to dramatic but enough that if I'd tried them on in a shop I would have asked for another pair.

3.30pm 25/03/26 I got in touch via the contact form on the website outlining the problem along with photos. I also said that whilst I was happy to exchange them I would consider a discount. I instantly got an automated response acknowledging receipt and outlining the process.

I thought great all in hand I'll just wait to hear back from them in the next day or so. So I took the dog for a walk.

4.53pm 25/03/26 I got a response from Karen in customer service offering a solution that I was delighted to accept.

So in under 1.5 hrs NPS Solovair had sorted the problem and earned themselves one delighted customer...me.

The boots, bar the minor cosmetic flaw, are fantastic. Far better than my DMs. I will definitely be buying from NPS Solovair again and can highly recommend them. You can buy with confidence in their products and service. Absolutely 1st Class.

Handmade shoes since 1881 !

This is a British company based
In Wollaston Northamptonshire and I ordered my first (but not last)pair of shoes this week .
The quality is unparalleled and I’ve worn mephisto ,dansko ,La Canadienne ,doc martens
And latterly Russell and Bromley .
These trump the lot !
The comfort quality and customer service are excellent

Really positive customer service…

Really positive customer service experience
Ordered some boots for my fiancee to the UK, while living overseas, and therefore had to arrange returns through a fairly convoluted process. Viv could not have been more accommodating, and made the whole thing incredible easy, the boots are also great. Very happy with the whole experience and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Outstanding service

The service you get with NPS is above and beyond. They genuinely want to help you get the perfect result and it's like of deep breath of fresh air. They also genuinely care about the products and are very passionate about quality and good design. I would wholeheartedly recommend them any day of the week.

Absolutely love my new pair of five…

Absolutely love my new pair of five Eyelet brogues. You can tell the quality in the workmanship and materials as soon as you open the box.
They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
I was so impressed with the shoes that I have since in the last month purchased a further three pairs of shoes from NPS/ Solovair. A pair of calf gibsons with Dainite soles. And two pairs of Solovair Gibsons, all of which I love.

Quality overlooked; Customer care non-existent

Firstly, I had really high hopes for this brand and spent some time comparing my options before choosing Solovair.

The guidance on the website is quite specific and detailed, which leads you to believe the company takes care and pride over getting it right, and that this will reward you with a high quality product that fits as you expect.

The boots arrived and the quality of leather looked and felt great, I like the subdued stitching. However, as I started lacing them up I noticed that the sole of the right foot had been cut badly. It looked like the machinist (or the machine) had slipped while making the curve at the front of the right foot, leaving more of a straight line than the left foot. How did this get pass quality control? Perhaps a brand selling itself on quality should open the box for one last check before it goes out of the door.

Still, worth trying the boots on, as I was certain this flaw would be corrected if sent back, so I wanted to know how they fit.

The "more generous" last (493) shape felt surprisingly narrow across the forefoot. Did I get this wrong? Given the careful attention I paid to measuring my feet and choosing the size (following Solovair's published guidance), my confidence faded and I decided to ask for a refund.

Checking the returns procedure, I took a photo, filled out my reason for return and waited for the confirmation / 'approval' email, with packing slips. As others have noted, you are told you have 7 days to complete your return once instigated, which puts some pressure on you to be organised and get this done.

The same cannot be said for Solovair's customer support service.

No confirmation / approval email came. So I wrote to them, explaining that I was waiting, and conscious of the expected window of time for returns.

I got a standard response with instructions on how to complete a return. No name on the email.

I wrote back, clarifying. Another off-target response, suggesting I had taken my parcel to the wrong courier. This time there was a name at the bottom. Surprised that the human (maybe it wasn't) hadn't read my earlier messages I tried calling the customer service telephone number ("We are unable to answer your call - clunk") and sent another email, explaining again.

Days after the returns request I finally got an email telling me my returns request had been approved, with packing and postage slips attached.

The postage instruction insists on the use of DHL Express, which YOU WILL PAY FOR.

At no stage was the flaw in the sole acknowledged.

There was no attempt to keep me as a customer - no enquiry about the fit or other finish elements, no suggestion for an alternative size or shape / design.
Looking back at the information I can see now that the 493 last is generous on the length, but 'narrower' in overall fit. Surely good customer service would spot this and come up with a recommendation?

Apart from the use of my first name at the top of each letter, it did not feel like I had been seen as a customer at all. My returns request had been overlooked, my messages not read, calls not answered, dissatisfaction left to fester. Just disappointing.

Our team work from 9am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and are available and on hand to deal with emails and calls. We are somewhat puzzled why you would not be able to get through as have not had any other concerns raised regarding our phone lines and have confirmed that any concerns raised via email are swiftly dealt with by a member of the team.
We are more than happy to revisit the issue with the boot and ask that you contact us at help@nps-shoes.com with the order number. We can also ensure that the return has been received and that a refund has been correctly processed to you and no shipping fee was retained.

With regard to the return labels; this is out of our control and the expiry time is set by the courier directly and is not something we can change.

IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT

I ordered a pair of shoes in October. It developed a crack by the following March though I was only wearing it indoors. I was really surprised because my previous pair had lasted (and was still usable). When I reached out Solovair, all they asked for was some pictures. They diagnosed the problem, and offered a replacement immediately. Though there is no warranty beyond the 30 day return- which made me anxious- the company is extremely responsive and responsible. Excited to keep using their products and I highly recommend, both for the quality of the product and the service. AMAZING!

Great shoes and great customer service

Tried these shoes after getting tired of ones from other brands falling apart, and these are a massive upgrade. Now they're broken in, they're by far the most comfortable and hard-wearing shoes I own. My first pair had a bit of an issue where the sole and insole rubbed, making them quite squeaky. But their costumer service was honestly the best I've ever had from any brand: responses came the same day and they offered to cover the cost of resoling or replacing them with no hassle. If you're looking for high quality, good looking shoes and a helpful team to back them up with advice and assistance, I couldn't recommend Solovair more

Customer Service was outstanding

Customer Service was unbelievable.
I had a problem with my shoes that were out of warranty, and Joanne who i dealt with sorted me out and was so easy to deal with.
She sent me out a new pair because of a fault that i didnt catch earlier and turned into a bigger problem.
Makes me very very comfortable and feel safe ordering from them again.
