Much like other reviews, NOVICA lied to prevent cancelation of my order, I put in an order and requested a cancellation on a Saturday, they waited until Tuesday after shipping the item to tell me that they could not refund the item since it was already shipped. Absolute garbage and they know it. This has been reported as an issue previously and just know that it is continuing to be systemic in the company. Do not trust them.

BLUF: Lied about dispatching my item to keep the money.

Essentially I ordered one too many of an expensive item- baby brain and and obvious mistake but I contacted both the customer service and paypal service minutes later to ask them to correct my order.

The next morning I got an email saying it was too late to refund as the item had “already been dispatched”. In the late afternoon I received another email with tracking information clearly showing that the item had not been dispatched when the customer service responded.

So they lied. I assume because they were either too lazy to check and didn’t want to help; or they wanted to keep the money. Either way I won’t be using them again as they are obviously untrustworthy.

I received my earrings today and was blown away. They are the most intricate, gorgeous earrings I ever bought. The packaging was perfect with each pair in a pretty cloth bag along with the artist's bio. They have a liberal return policy although I can't imagine they get many returns, if any. As soon as I'm done writing this, I'm going to buy some more jewelry. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

I've purchased 9 items from NOVICA (so far) and I couldn't be more pleased! All the items were as shown and packed perfectly, with artists bio and gift wrapping.

I'm so glad I found NOVICA. A perfect place to buy that unique gift (masks are my weakness and NOVICA has a fantastic inventory).
The prices are more than fair and I love reading the artist's stories.

I love to buy in NOVICA. I get the catalog and go crazy because they have the most beautiful things one can imagine. The site is really easy to be navigate. And the best part is the buyers are helping artisans of the whole world. My husband is giving some presents for Christmas from NOVICA and I'm delighted!!!

This is the most amazing company I’ve ever worked with! First of all, the website is almost completely accessible to people with disabilities. Only thing that doesn’t work well with the screen reader is choosing a different shipping options. I love the fact that they describe their items. As a matter fact, they do a better job than anyone else on the Internet in describing the items. As for the items that he sell, they’re always beautiful and well-made! This past Christmas, I ordered several Christmas ornaments as gifts. They took a while to clear customs. I didn’t realize this. It was actually Novica that reached out to me and let me know they have been following my package and it seem to offer to do whatever they could to make it right. Fortunately, the package cleared customs and arrived on time but that story is illustrative of what amazing customer service Novica offers. I have worked with Novica for several years and I look forward to purchasing more wonderful items from them in the future.

I got my ring a couple of weeks ago and I cannot find it in me to take it off! It's beautiful and the multiple metals used in it make it the prefect pairing option with all of my other jewelry.

The shipping was as expected when it comes to ordering from overseas; It was not a long wait by any means. The packaging was perfect. My ring arrived in a tiny box and inside the box was a beautiful jewelry pouch that contained my ring and a signed card from the artist. I will definitely be returning for future orders.

i ordered pearl drop sterling earrings for a christmas gift 2017. I ordered late (my fault) and when the earring arrived i was shocked. The large pearls shown in the ad and on the business card included in the package were MIA. instead the tiniest tiniest pearls were set in the earrings, so tiny they could barely be seen beyond the setting. what a disappointment. and to make matters worse, i had no other gift available and HAD to give them as a present. so i supposed you could say it was partly my fault for not expecting this misrepresentation by the the maker and novica i suppose. but the major fault is that novica sent me something that did not live up to the image they advertised. they were less than responsive to my situation. i won't buy from them anymore, since i don't trust that what they advertise is what they will deliver. the maker, in ireland is also to blame

Novica is one of my favorite on line stops for gifts for either myself or others. I'm always thrilled with the items that I purchase. The quality and workmanship is amazing. Truly a wonderful site.

I have been buying products from NOVICA for at least 5 years now and have not once been let down on quality or craftsmanship, a a mater of fact I buy something from NOVICA at least 3 times a year and had several sterling silver pieces, a couple of handbags and my new favorite their leather and silver bracelets.
They ship very quickly and send you updates of when your order is shipped and the items get to deliver incredibly fast, specially if you consider that shipping is really inexpensive and they are shipping items some times directly from India which is amazing to me!
They have beautiful jewelry at a very affordable price and their pieces are unlike anything I can find here.

I am a return customer for a reason. I believe in NOVICA's mission and I've never once been disappointed with their products, shipping, packaging, or communication. I've purchased many items as gifts for others, but one notable item that I've purchased recently is my blue cardigan with multicolor sleeves. It's beautifully made, has held up extremely well to being run through the wash (I should probably be more careful with it), and it fit exactly as I expected it to. A similar cardigan would have cost much more in a place like Earthbound, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that NOVICA is helping artisans around the world. I would absolutely, without hesitation, bet a paycheck on NOVICA, their products, and their customer service.

Last Sunday I ordered a ring through this website, but I accidentally chose the wrong size. I immediately tried to cancel / change my order, leaving Novica with multiple emails and numerous attempts to reach them by phone. None of my e-mails have been replied to, and I also haven't had a call back. The ring is now shipped, and upon reading these other reviews, it is probably going to take a long time for me to get the right size. Already unhappy with the customer service of this company, and I really hope my problem will be resolved quickly.

Novica provides a unique array of beautiful, handcrafted items produced by artisans whom would otherwise have no access to the international market. They can earn fair value for their crafts. And that means you can give gifts that are doubly rewarding; they are beautiful and their makers have been properly compensated. The descriptions are clear, dimensions and sizes are listed for every item and the photography is beautifully representational. Items are shipped in readily recyclable packaging that is very, very secure and protective of even the most fragile items. And I have never had the annoyance of the shipped air (bubble wrap, air pillows) most online retailers use in abundance to fill oversized cartons. Over more than a decade of transactions with Novica there have been just a couple of occasions to call customer service. They are among the most conscientious and helpful phone staff with whom I have dealt. This is a very good company.

Purchased a bracelet for a friend and was in shock when it finally arrived. It was so small, it could barely fit a child. Totally unacceptable and crappy. They do not pay for the return postage even if the product is not acceptable...I had to pay for insurance coverage and return shipping. Will never do business with them again. Beware if of Novica...total rip off.

Everything they have is unique and artisan made. It is always presented beautifully, with a descriptive story card and brief information about the artist. I have spent thousands of dollars with this site. I look to them whenever I want to give an outstanding gift to someone.
