Our renowned Audiologists are partners of the business and as such they really do care about their clients. We undertake comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments and hearing aid evaluations so you have complete assurance in your results and the honest recommendations made. A hearing test and trial appointment at the Nottingham Hearing Practice usually takes around 2 hours. In order to ensure the appropriate recommendations are made, it is important that when we assess your hearing we truly understand how your hearing affects you. Sometimes a hearing impairment could simply be caused by a build-up of wax and if this is the case we can arrange an appointment for it's safe removal. Holistic fitting method: If hearing impairment is established, your Audiologist will provide information about the latest intelligent and connected hearing aids stocked by the Nottingham Hearing Practice. We provide hearing devices from the leading hearing aid manufacturers, such as Phonak, Oticon and Starkey in a range of styles. So, that means we can ensure we find the best solution for you. At this point, we differ from other providers, as we are able to fit you with instruments immediately. We then allow you the opportunity to try them free of charge, for a couple of weeks or more. Of course, we’ll make sure the hearing aids are programmed to your hearing loss and give you a basic orientation on how to use your new hearing aids. After a few days, you may well realise you need some adjustments, but we will be on hand to help. When you return for your next appointment, we can adjust the hearing aids to ensure they are working perfectly for you. This may be a process that is repeated a few times. That’s the beauty of our free trials: It is important to realise that succeeding with your hearing aids is not just about the aids themselves. The fine tuning, motivational advice and ongoing support we provide is equally as important. It is often a good idea to attend your hearing consultation with a family member or friend. They may be able to give a greater insight into your lifestyle and the problems they believe you encounter. They will also make it easier for you to understand the improvement hearing instruments will make and provide you with support for any decisions. Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience, and worth every penny. Alan was very kind and patient, and even indulged my curiosity by letting me see the inside of my ears.
My issue was dealt with professionally and quickly, and I had immediate relief from a blockage that had really been impacting on my hearing. Can't recommend the Nottingham Hearing Practice enough.

great experience
Nothing negative to say about this business. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Steven on the front desk gave professional advise for my blocked ear and booked me straight in the following week. On arrival I was looked after by Alan, who was a knowledgeable nice guy, who explained everything and was patient and friendly. A frustrating issue I’d had for a couple of weeks was sorted swiftly and without any issues. Highly recommended!

Great service for my elderly father who…

Brilliant service and a procedure that worked!

Incredible service from start to finish
I don't normally write reviews but for this fantastic service I just had to. Jo went above and beyond to make sure my experience was the best it could be. Having had bad hearing and using the…
Having had bad hearing and using the hearing aids provided by the NHS,which made a very slight difference,life at home,work and socially was very challenging,so when my wife seen the shop Beeston she prompted me to make an appointment and I will say that I am very glad that she did. Mr Alan Jackson listened to the challenges I had been facing due to my hearing loss,and was extremely knowledgeable in what was the best hearing aid for me to try,which I was allowed to trial at home and work for just over 2 weeks. It was the best decision I have made to purchase my hearing aids and they and Mr Alan Jackson have made a huge difference to my standard of life. Thank you so much

Wax removal recommended!
If you are searching for ear wax removal...LOOK NO FURTHER!
I was hesitant about it as I’d heard stories that made me nervous but needless to say, this particular clinic can not be faulted, the experience was overall pleasant, I was welcomed in on time and provided with a face covering and sanitizer, everything was very Covid safe. The gentleman explained everything about the ears to me which I never knew before and he definitely went the extra mile to ensure I was happy, 100% satisfaction from me can’t recommend enough!

Mr Alan Jackson did a home consultation for me. Very professional from the start to finish. Alan was very thorough in explaining in depth the process of ear wax removal to hearing test.
As a result of the hearing test had quite a lot of hearing lost. Alan advised me of which hearing aid would be best suited for my needs. Very impressed with the hearing aids he left me to try under no obligation to buy. What a difference they made! Which resulted in me purchasing a pair. They are absolutely brilliant, lovely to hear things that I was unable to hear before like the birds whistling.
Would highly recommend Alan Jackson.

Excellent service today when I visited for ear wax removal. Everything was explained beforehand and the procedure was painless. I couldn't believe the amount of wax removed and I can now hear clearly again. The premises are extremely clean and Covid proof.I would thoroughly recommend.

It‘s the best hearing place

Absolutely fantastic experience at…
Absolutely fantastic experience at Nottingham Hearing Practice today. Alan took me through the ear wax removal procedure very carefully and when I had it done I cannot believe the difference it has made - the low level tinnitus I had (a "classic case of wax on ear drum" I believe) has gone. I cannot recommend this Practice enough, (Steve was also great when I first made contact). I am going to get my daughter to make an appointment for the 'crackling' in her ears!

Fantastic treatment, provided by professional and friendly staff. Having struggled to clear wax from my ears, one appointment cleared it all quickly and pain free. The precautions taken with regards to protecting against corona virus were also very good and made the process feel very safe.
