I write this review so that people see that this dealership are not honourable.
They agreed to buy my black Z4 M40i for £36650 but failed to stick to the agreed price and actually only pay £35500 once the online Motorway auction had ended and the other bidders were eliminated. Within 24 hours they listed the car for sale for £38,779, which is a very healthy £3299 profit.
I felt pressured to accept their offer and I have subsequently found out that they were in breach of the terms & conditions of the online auction because they started to renegotiate.
Their reasons for not honoring the price were
1.Two rear tyres measured 2.8mm on the outer edge and they have a minimum selling standard of 3mm plus (the legal minimum is 1.6mm). To list the car on the auction I had to photograph the tread of all 4 tyres, so they knew the condition of the tyres when bidding and they should have taken this into account before bidding.
2.They said the bonnet needed to be machine polished. I thought that all garages machine polish the whole car as standard in order to make them look as good as possible. There were no individual marks or chips etc.
3.They said that the car had a previous smart repair on the bottom lip of the front bumper which they needed to repaint. I had not declared any previous repair as I did not know that Stratstone had done a smart repair when I bought the car from them a few years ago. It was a good enough repair for BMW standards but not good enough for these guys when they are knocking my car value down.
The bonnet & front bumper had photographs taken as part of the online auction before they bid on the car and it was nearly 4 years old so it would never be like a new car. Essentially, I have to pay for their refurbishment cost after they have already agreed one buying price.
The registration of my car is YP72FKT Black BMW M40i and if you go to see it it should have brand new tyres & a repainted bonnet & front bumper. I have added photographs of the bonnet/bumper & tyres to this review so that everybody can see that there was no genuine reason to have these replaced/repaired.
Their Director listened to my complaint about the above points and said that he would call back the following Monday with what he could do to resolve the issue, but he did not come forward with any offer, so again I feel that they are not honourable and you need to be careful. When I complained he again assured me that "he was a man of his word and to wait" but there was still no actual offer to resolve my complaint, just words. I feel that they have not been honorable in their commitments I have now raised the matter with the online auction company and I will be taking them to court for breach of contract.

Missus bought a Mini Countryman untamed edition today. The whole experience was fantastic. Joe was very helpful, friendly and professional answering all questions we had. We felt very looked after. The missus was quite nervous on the way there but on the way back, beaming ear to ear in her new car. NMJ were superb throughout and I highly recommended them.

Sold my car to Nmj Motorhouse through Carwow. Alan got in touch promptly after the auction, and arranged to collect and pay for the car at the beginning of the following week. It was a pleasure talking to Alan. Micheal who collected the car was a really nice guy, there was no attempt to try and offer me less for the car, and they paid the full amount before the car left my driveway. It was a pleasure doing business.

Reasonably priced car with top spec, great delivery experience
Purchased a great little car from NMJ Motorhouse and the service from start to delivery was great. I found out after the car was delivered as to how much equipment the car had, although only a fraction was mentioned in the car sales page. Spec like front sensors and parking assistant wasn't mentioned but I was over the moon to accidentally discover it. That was a hint of feedback to NMJ Motorhouse to try and find out everything the car and show it off on the sales page because I initially chose the car based on it's looks on the inside and out. Everything else was like my birthday and eid arriving all at once, so many cool gadgets like the HUD display, wireless phone charging etc. Overall, I'm very happy that I purchased the car I wanted for so long from NMJ Motorhouse. It was delivered the next day on a flatbed truck on time, and the delivery driver was friendly. I don't need aftersales so I can't review that but Joe did call me after the car was delivered and registered the road tax, something that other car dealers in the past left me to do on my own, which is very inconvenient. Thank you for taking care of that, and thanks for your help from start to finish.

They say they pride themselves in professionalism, but we experienced their senior sales director, Nick, have a showdown with us, on their forecourt, when he said ‘I don’t care if you don’t accept it’ - In relation to my objecting to the shoddy job they carried out on our car. Only after asking him to repeat what he said on record, did he realise how obnoxious that was and finally agree that the work fell below standard.
This is the after sales service we got from NMJ after spending £20k with them. My wife left in tears, and in spite of an email to him, and the only other registered sales director Alan, have not had a single courtesy call apologising for his antagonistic behaviour.

initially very pleased with the purchase of my 65 Plate Mini @ 15400 Mls. The vehicle came with a TLC pack which covers all the costs of servicing which was a bonus. 2 days after getting to grips with the onboard computer it became apparent the car was overdue a service. Mini stipulate 2 years or 20000Mls. Which ever comes first This means the car is 18mths overdue its 1st service and was also overdue by 6 mths for a brake fluid change. Contacted dealer who told me as it had a TLC pack they decided not to service the car. The had also decided to not tell me prior to purchasing and collecting the car NMJ should have got the vehicle serviced at a Mini dealership before i collected the vehicle as they would have not incurred any costs whatso ever. Taken the car for its service today for Mini dealership to tell me it has 3 outstanding manufacturer recalls which need resolving and i am now without a car for a couple of days and have had the car less than 3 weeks.
I don't believe they intentionally set out to deceive, they just aren't as professional as they advertise.
Also sold me gap insurance on day of collection and industry regulations require them to give you the cost and allow 2 days to decide so you can compare prices. DO NOT PURCHASE from this dealership. I got it for £130 rather than £360 through a money expert site.
£15000 for a car 18mths overdue a service - 6 mths overdue brake fluid change and x 3 outstanding recalls.

We’ve been there on friday, Joe was very helpful with us, I was confused which car I want , but he was really peacefull.
I can recommend for everyone who like to buy they excellent car, this is the second time O bought the car excellent service good quality car.
OK but avoid the 'Extras' and expect very low trade in value
The Good
Quite a large selection of cars.
Staff friendly and polite. Didn’t find them over-pushy which was nice for a used car dealer.
Test drive was good and over a variety of roads. Salesman very knowledgeable about the model. A couple of issues which I pointed out were rectified when I collected the car a week later.
The sales process was pretty straight forward and handled quickly and efficiently.
The not so good
NMJ website gets you to put in loads of details about your trade in car so they can give you an estimated online quote prior to visiting. Did all that but no quote. Got a phone call 4 days later asking whether I was still interested in the car. I said I was still waiting for the trade in value. Salesman said if I want a quote, go on ‘We Buy Any Car’ and NMJ will be at least that figure. So looks like the offer of an online quote is misleading.
Very vague when questioned about the aftermarket warranty. No small print to look through, just the glossy A4 leaflet which did not have prices on it. £899 for 2 years or £599 for 1 year I was verbally told. I suspect it was made up on the spot a varies from customer to customer. Through my own digging, found out that it is with a company called AutoProtect. The internet reviews on this company are awful. Many people left with the cost of the repair + the original £899 for the policy. When I told them I no longer wished to take the policy out, I was told that AutoProtect merely administer the policy but it is owned and controlled by NMJ. Not sure what that really meant, but hundreds of poor reviews meant I cancelled it anyway.

Admin fee of £189. Was told that it was for background checks and insurance against car being lost stolen etc. Pretty comparable with most car supermarkets I guess, but I don’t understand why it should rocket up to £399 if the car is financed through your own company rather than NMJ. Surely the lost / stolen insurance would be exactly the same.
Trade in values are rock bottom. They pick holes in everything to drive the value down. 3 stone chips on the bonnet meant they called my car average even though I had it valued at 2 other dealers that day who both said it was in excellent condition. I was offered the same as We Buy Any Car.
After leaving deposit on car, you are given paperwork telling you what to do next. One piece of paper says pay balance by bank transfer, credit card, debit card or cash. Even though it said this, I was told cards and cash would be refused.
Had the usual GAP insurance, Paint protection, Warranty sales pitch that you’d expect at any car dealer. From experience, you can buy all of these things separately on the internet afterwards, for a fraction of the price. Spend a few minutes on google and compare for yourself.
Upon car collection, they put the keyboard in front of you and ask you to type a few words about the service. They then photograph you getting into the car. What they don’t tell you is that the whole thing is put on their website.
Overall, I would but here again, but my advice, expect rock bottom trade in value and avoid all the very expensive extras.
