I needed some tyres swapping from alloy wheels to some chrome wire wheels. I was slightly worried about possible damage that might be caused. There was no need. Craig did a fantastic job swapping and balancing.

Great centre always have my car done for anything booked a full service for February with them already.

Friendly and helpful very trustworthy

My car suddenly gave a warning that two tyres needed checking. Because I frequently use a road that has lots of nasty potholes I feared the worst and pulled into a supermarket car park then walked to National Tyres. They were so busy but the man I spoke to said it would be ok to bring the car and he'd have a look at it. He knew exactly what was wrong and sorted all my tyres. A small job to him but a huge concern to me. There was no charge. This is a sign of a company who cares. All I can say is thank you so so much and I wish I could give you 10stars.

Booked an appointment online to have two tyres fitted at national tyres in Mansfield. I booked the appointment for 10am, to fit in with the things I had to do during the morning. Received the confirmation email while stated" please arrive 10mins prior to your appointment" so I arrived 15min before my appointment, and then proceeded to wait for 30 mins before they started fitting the tyres, what's the point in having an appointment system when you turn up and just wait around, apart from that they were fine, don't know if I would go back.

Very helpful staff and amazing service. Managed to fit my car in last minute with an tyre issue and managed to fix within 5 minutes. Explained everything perfectly and didn’t make me feel stupid for it being a quick fix. Would highly recommend!

Had two recent repairs to my car at National Tyres in Mansfield. All staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. On a very cold day the reception area was warm and welcoming with the offer of a hot drink. I’m very pleased with the repairs and checks and will go there again if necessary. Many thanks.

Avoid at all costs! Long story short: I was there on Monday for a wheel alignment and a brake check.
I’ve paid the price for alignment and got the free brakes checks.Their result on brakes check was that everything is fine and as example rear brake pads got 10mm.I booked a full service and MOT with them for this Thursday, left the car there and few hours later got a phone call saying that car failed MOT because my rear brake pads was under 1,5mm(3 days ago being 10mm) plus they’ve found some”issues “ on suspension apparently.
They quoted me 1,118£ for job done so I can pass the MOT.
Paid the price in full and took my car today!Also, very rude staff acting like they’re Gods…I’ll never recommend and never come back.
I will escalate this and move forward with a complaint to authorities.

Writing this again as they asked me to update with booking number, so I did, and no response!!

Do not under any circumstances take your car here.
Had MOT done with them in December/January time and failed it on a couple of things and a couple of advisories. Took it to my usual garage when it opened after Christmas and they said no way should it have been failed. Anyway, had the work done, took it back and it passed.
Fast forward 5-6 months, this month, I had a FULL service done with them, only took it there because again, my usual garage wasn’t open on bank holiday and could get a teacher discount with these so thought… what could go wrong on a service…
I have nearly a full service history with my car but as I have no receipts, they have put on everything they can due to the car being a 66 plate, spark plugs, dust and pollen filter and said it had failed on a battery test which they clearly didn’t do as they didn’t take the battery off to do a drop test and said my ball joint has excessive play which concerned me. Also said my coolant was filthy and I needed an oil cooler as mine was failing which would be £400 on top of the other £600 quoted on my service report.
Got my car in at my usual garage after it opening after bank holiday a week later… 1 big problem was picked up which they obviously haven’t checked for which they should have in a FULL service, other problems which they told me I had, there is nothing wrong with (coolant is that colour because a different colour coolant has been used and nothing to do with the oil cooler, my ball joint wasn’t budging and my battery is absolutely fine). When I had the big problem sorted at my usual garage, they had to drain the oil, my mechanic said no way had the oil been changed in a service the week before, it was a mucky brown/black colour and that they hadn’t changed the oil. Makes me question what they did with my money.
Makes my blood boil, will not be using these again, they’re rip offs and think they can scam a young woman who obviously doesn’t know about cars. So thankful for my usual mechanic, saved me a hell of a lot of money. Don’t know how this company is still going and being allowed to rip people off. Disgusting. I’d give it a no star if it’d let me.

Needed a tyre pressure sensor fitting, phoned up and got me in the same day. David the tyre guy was exceptional talked me through what was needed and did a exceptional job a big thankyou to him for looking after me I will be using this branch in the future, cant recommend this garage highly enough. Thankyou also to Andrew who was helpful and polite, really good customer service thanx guys!!!

Terrible service and no response from two emails sent to the customer service email my visit was in February and now in nearly mid April despite chases no reply, I found the service completed was geared very much on false information given like you need a new exhaust and that it was dangerous even though my car had just passed it’s MOT less than 3 weeks now previously and less than 1000 miles since the service, I sent my email to customer service and laughably I knew wasn’t accurate as after the service I got my local garage to check the advisories who said they were not factual, I then had chase emails asking me to book the work in due to the unsafe exhaust which is obviously where the company hits its targets that and tyres, just feel let down and disappointed on how I’ve been treated as a customer especially now Halfords own and how much I’ve spent there too. Was ripped off at Mansfield centre when took car in for MOT. was charged triple the price to replace spark plugs which had been changed last year. Was told this needed doing as car had failed emissions test. Car was not showing any signs that this was a problem before taking it in. When I asked more questions as to why they needed replacing mechanic responded in a shifty way, stuttering and making up why they needed replacing. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID AS WELL

Customer service is amazing, always helpful, car is always available when they say. These guys are brilliant at Mansfield, cannot thank them enough for sorting our cars out. Always go back to them.

I came in yesterday for new tyres. I don't live locally but work around the area. I'd been here a few months ago when they helped me out with a puncture. Great price and service then. So I returned.

Unfotunately they couldn't help me yesterday but Ben helped me to book in with my local national tyres for another day.

The guy who dealt with us was great, professional and friendly but waiting 1 &1/2 hours for 4 tyres to be changed is just disappointing.

I'm guessing they was short staffed.
