Excellent cake and fantastic decoration

Nafees cheethamhill branch. Ordered a Birthday cake, waited till past 2pm no communication re the cake. Rang the shop , poor communication lack of english but eventually found my cake. The overall process needs to be improved! Cake however was delicious as with most nafees products.

Love the food especially the mathai and the fresh cakes for birthdays. The customer service is excellent online and in store. I definitely recommend Nafees, you won’t be disappointed

Misleading and Pushy Sales Tactics

Visited Nafees Sweets, Bolton (143 Deane Road) today at 14:39. I asked for a small box to buy a modest portion, and the salesman flat-out refused. It’s obvious that this branch deliberately refuses small boxes to force customers to buy bigger, more expensive portions.

This is not just poor service—it’s manipulative and greedy. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be strong-armed into buying more than you want.
I Would Never Recommend Nafees Sweets in Bolton.

Extremely unhappy with the cake, ordered a buttercream cake for a celebration however was given a fresh cream cake, paid over £60 for a 10” fresh cream cake, requested a personalised message to be written however nothing was written - so had to wait 15mins for a shop staff to write the message (which was botched) Spent 30mins debating with the staff that I was given a fresh cream however apparently they can check the camera to see a buttercream cake was made? Even through they could see it was fresh cream infront of them. Went round in circles and unfortunately had to accept the cake as I was left with no option as I had already paid more than half in deposit which they wasn’t willing to refund! The cake had 2 layers however only the bottom layer had the raspberry filling, the next layer was just fresh cream but apparently it was buttercream. Won’t be purchasing anything from here again! Definitely a communication/understanding barrier.

Easy to order on time. Pick up in shop straightforward. We had the 12 inch full chocolate with fresh cream. It was absolutely delicious. The writing on top was perfect too.
Will definitely use this bakers again.

Ordered cake for birthday in Christmas, mainly the shop was open which is good cuz many shops are closed that day, the cake was fresh ,juicy n creamy really good everyone loved the cake so will order again from here, Really good cakes

Unfortunately, the customer service at Nafees Cake Shop is very poor. The staff were unfriendly and did not give us proper attention. It took an unreasonably long time to receive a ready-made cake. Our polite request to cut the cake was refused in a rude manner. Overall, a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.

Worst experience every time I visit this shop. Not only me—my friends have also had the same experience. The customer service is extremely poor, and the staff are not friendly at all. Even when we were ready to place an order, they showed no attention towards us.

The shop was not busy, yet it took 30 minutes just to receive a ready-made cake. The attitude towards customers is very bad and unprofessional.

When we politely asked to cut the cake into pieces, they refused. The front house staff member said, “We can’t do it, do it yourself.” If we had the proper knife, we wouldn’t have asked in the first place. Even if they cannot provide this service, it should be explained politely. Instead, the team members were very rude.

I purchased cakes worth £35, and if they think this is not worth basic customer service, that says a lot. Overall, the attitude towards customers seriously needs to change.

I will never recommend this shop to anyone

Been using the shop for years prices very high but staff friendly.. but today had guests & the veg samosa were off what we would is a "laysa swaad" Too late to get in touch as the shop was shut but very very disappointed as no quality checks or selling old stock. Either way not acceptable never had this issue with gorray shops only apnaay selling old stock. Wont be shopping there in a hurry. Suggest others shop elsewhere or be careful.

Always happy with the online service quality, presentation, detail to work, taste alway on point 10/10. Not to mention how reasonable the cakes actually are. So fresh and fluffy just the right consistency.
Easy to fix any errors made and follow instructions very well. Thank you for your amazing cakes and service.

Absolutley first class got a cake made for my hubbys birthday as he had never experienced a nafees cake and he loved it , these cakes are the best, i would recomend them every time thank you

Very easy to order online. The staff in the Preston shop very polite and the cake was brilliant

I called their customer service number (01274 483913) to enquire about any potential franchise opportunities, but the experience was quite disappointing. The person who answered responded rudely with just a blunt “no,” offering no further information or assistance. For a company of this size, you would expect a far higher standard of professionalism and customer service. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of courtesy from a brand that should take pride in how it represents itself.

Staff is rude and the quality of the food is not what they charge you for. It is overpriced and lacks taste. It is not fresh and tastes stale. I would not recommend the Preston branch at all.

Fresh cream cakes base not fresh? What was supposed to be a great 2nd birthday turned into a nightmare as soon as guests took a bite of the cake. First time it has ever happened but a night not easily forgotten by any parent. Very disappointed and will avoid in future. Be aware, you have been warned.

I purchased cupcakes for my sister's Birthday and when I collected it and tasted it they were ready bought cupcakes from Asdas horrible cheap me and my family could tell right away. They had decorated it to cover up the fact that the cupcakes were not freshly made. Wont be ordering again.
