Definitely not “Gold Standard”
I brought 3 of these meals at a local co-op and I have to say I am very disappointed.
I followed the instructions to reheat them- that was easy enough, however they are disgusting, bland, sludgy and awful smell. All 3 meals were the same.
They are very expensive compared to similar meals and when I scanned them in the Yuka app I was appalled that they all came out as poor- as little as 49/100!! These are definitely not “Gold Standard Nutrition”- would recommend looking elsewhere for easy meals on the run.

Regarding third-party scanning apps like Yuka: while they offer automated ratings, they do not provide medical advice and are in no way intended to replace a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional, dietitian, or doctor. All of our meals are thoughtfully designed by qualified chefs and nutritionists to ensure nutritional balance and quality.
Our overarching aim throughout the year is to reduce unnecessary additives wherever possible. Where additives do appear, they are generally from high-quality pre-manufactured or branded components—for example, the Sriracha sauce in our Firecracker meal brings incredible flavor, but as an ambient-stable product, it naturally contains preservatives. We are actively working across our production sites to flavor-match and manufacture more of these ingredients in-house to reduce them further.
At the same time, we advocate for a balanced view on certain ingredients. Some E-numbers and additives can have a net positive effect when used correctly; for example, small amounts of E621 (MSG) can substantially elevate flavor as a lower-sodium alternative to standard table salt.

Love GSN food
I have ordered from different companies in the past and meals were more like the ones from the shop . Lately I have decided to order from GSN . I wasn’t expecting anything better or worse ,wanted to try something new. Well what I can say , after weeks later, everyday I am excited to have something ready in a few min while it taste delicious. I try to avoid spicy food as not huge fun so hoping I’ll be able to order in future for example Chow Mein but non spicy version. Other than I am extremely happy and grateful that GSN put so much effort in their food that it make massive difference of a people with busy lives style. Loving packaging too. Thank you :)

Food arrived partially defrosted, insufficient freeze bags as one had burst.
I would not have purchased these meals had I known the chicken was Halal, as I see on their website a few days after purchase.

The dry ice bags naturally dissipate into harmless C02 gas during transit, so a burst bag won't affect or contaminate your meals.Regarding ingredients, our chicken supplier is Halal-certified, though not all final meals are not officially certified due to overall kitchen prep.

I have used other protein meal brands for many many years. To aid me maintain my weight. Muscle growth and fitness. And can honestly say that finding GSN was a godsend. I’ve never found any meals that are as tasty as GSN. The variety is outstanding. Healthy too. I’ll be hard pushed to go back to any other brand

My order arrived today
My order arrived today, on opening It only contained 2 small freezer bags which i would say is very insufficient for a large un-insulated box, also one of the freezer bags was burst and completely empty, the food consequently had started to defrost, but i chose to refreeze as this food is for next week. I chose to eat one of the cartons of food and i could taste the cardboard , i would recommend putting the food into a microwavable container for cooking.
I will not order in the future.

Watery, Bland and Really Disappointing
Really, really disappointing! I bought a couple of meals to try and just had the chicken with creamy pasta.
Once heated, it looked so watery and mushy that I genuinely had second thoughts about even trying it. Unfortunately, I did, and it tasted just as bad as it looked. Completely bland with absolutely no flavour whatsoever.
I tried adding parmesan, salt and pepper to rescue it, but even that didn’t help. I couldn’t eat it, so it went straight in the bin.
Definitely not something I’d buy again.

Brought 2 gsn breakfast pots and i…
Brought 2 gsn breakfast pots and 1 chilli from co op 3 for £10.00 . Not tried the chilli yet but the breakfast was vile . Hardly any beans . 1 small piece of bacon baton about 6 chicken balls and mostly sliced potato . It was dry and like mush . The other breakfast will go in the bin..i just hope the chilli isn't has bad . Just looked a the igredients 40 % chicken balls 40% potatoes just them 2 alone are 80% of the meal it should bw renaned chicken and potato pot . No taste hardly very dissapointed .

Hi David apologies for this, Looking back at the Chatlogs the chatbot did actually give you a list of HIgh Protein Low Cal meals on the website.
Also when you are in the bundles on mobile, there is a dropdown button to filter products. On the website, they show at the top of the page in each bundle, so you can select which filter you want to action.
Hopefully you can find what your looking for.
Let’s blame the customer
When I ordered this the option to pick a delivery date didn’t come up and just went straight through to processing the payment. As it was the weekend I could only chat to their AI bot who stated to send an email with the date I would like and that sometimes there is an issue online as with this occasion. Well they got the email first thing Monday as they replied saying sorry for the inconvenience but because of how they work the order has already gone through so will be arriving the next day. The person emailing me could not accept that something on their side had gone wrong and basically blamed me because apparently the order would not go through without picking a date. If the option had come up then I would not have chosen a day I was out on a 12 hour shift at work.
Thankfully the delivery driver put it out of the sun although it was still warm so only a couple had started to defrost badly and the rest I put in the freezer.
Sadly they got my order wrong and delivered a meal I had not asked for but I didn’t bother emailing back because somehow it would be my fault.
One of the excuses passed was that they only have 6 people and they don’t work weekends.
They won’t care because like with most companies who cares about the minority, they can afford to lose a small percentage of customers because new ones come along regularly.
Poor first order, also was my last.
Also not very convenient as I have to wait 20 plus minutes before it’s cool enough to start eating.
I did give the correct notice but because nobody monitors the website on a weekend then it’s a pointless system. There was clearly a technical issue at your end yet no assistance to rectify your issue. Maybe you should have a rota so that it’s covered 7 days a week and help drive the business forward by giving customer service. Still not accepting responsibility what a shame.

You are Correct, were a small team in the office, We would not expect them to give up they're weekends.
It is correct that the Delivery date, is selectable at checkout. you are also prompted to accept the terms and conditions when ordering as a tick box.
If possible we will always aim to change delivery dates and help customers.
However they're are processes in place to ensure the orders are stored and picked in the correct temperatures. Hence the 2 working days notice for any changes.
If you have indeed received an Incorrect meal please let the Team Know which meal you received in error they can provide a refund.

Bought the firecracker chicken at my local gym but when I got home was shocked to read how many E numbers it contained amoungst other nasties. Won't be buying it again.

All ingredients are stated online as a well as on pack.
Most of the E Numbers we use are from Household items such as, Cornflour, Lemon Juice. Baking Powder, Xanthan Gum, acetic acid (vinegar)
All of which we list for transparency with the Chemical Numbers on Pack. I would defiantly recommend looking into the Safe To use E numbers Used within UK Products. On the Government Website.

Sauce vanished!
Received these today and as our shopping isn’t due til tomorrow I had this for dinner. Lovely, nice taste but very dry. I did add mayo to as it was dry but this is defeating the object for me trying to loose weight. Yes I did as instructed on the box but still dry unfortunately.

Not for me. Ok read the reviews etc. on second pot today. Chicken tikka yesterday, chicken chow mein today. Awful. My hubby who can eat anything, well not this time. It's mush in a posh carton. So got chicken bites penko coating. But can't understand how to cook, defrost etc. Have sent e mail to company. All the hype on FB. Trust pilot reviews. Frozen mush.
