I ordered food for delivery at 10.30 am, and when it hit 12.30 pm I called the owner and asked where my order was, there response was that it would be 15 mins away, and then when I called back at 1.20 pm! There response was very rude when he said "we can't help that we are busy, so what do u want me to do about it"! It will be the absolute last time I order food from this place!!!!!

MrD food drivers are the worst. We ordered and he refused to drive into the estate we live in. He said we should make a plan to drive to the gate ourselves as he is in a hurry.

Disappointing Experience with MRD App - Hacked Account and Poor Customer Service
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the MRD app after my account was hacked, resulting in unauthorized food orders and pickups at Steers. Despite being a loyal customer, I was shocked when MRD's response was a mere "sorry, we can't do anything." No refund, no compensation, no effort to make things right.
As a loyal customer who has supported MRD frequently, I expect better treatment. Instead, I feel neglected and disrespected. The lack of accountability and poor customer service has lost them my business. I will not only stop using the app but also share my disappointing experience with friends and family, discouraging them from using MRD's services.
MRD, take note: loyal customers deserve better. A refund and a more empathetic response would have gone a long way in resolving this issue. Now, you've lost a customer and potentially many more.
Mr D delivery never pitched with my food
I ordered food through jolly fisherman's on 24t August in Mitchell's plain Rocklands, and used Mr D for delivery I stood outside waited about 15 minutes for the guy to deliver my food, he never pitched...... I decided to call the guy he didn't answer his phone, I contacted the owner from jolly's he said he can't refund me, my order came to R180.... I was so disgusted at the service from Mr D and from jolly fisheries as he lied and never delivered my food and didn't answer his phone. I will never make use of Uber eats and Mr D delivery service ever again I'm damn disgusted😫👎

The driver went to the wrong address.
The order was then cancelled on the app. I called the store but their store number doesn't exist.
The called Mr Delivery to explain this issue and ask my food to be delivered to the correct address or give me a refund.
I spoke with "Lisa" from the contact call centre who told me that I will only get 50% of my order refunded.
She said that the driver did arrive at my house. That is a lie.
She said that the driver called me 3 times and I was not reachable.
My phone number did not ring. This could have been a signal issue with the network provider.
But regardless of this, the solution of only paying me 50% of my order is theft. It is not my fault that the driver went to the wrong house.
I paid a delivery fee for the order that I didn't receive.
I paid a tip to the driver for the order I didn't receive.
Delivering the food to me again was an option.
The store is still open for another 3 hours.
Mr Delivery, your customer service is bad. The arrogance and attitude of your employee is worse.
Lisa from your call centre in Cape Town did not care about a public complaint.
I will stop using Mr Delivery from now on.
I can't risk paying you for free, if future orders get cancelled because your drivers go to the wrong address
MrD Uses Horrible Tatcics to Trick Customers with Fake Promo Codes
I have now tried multiple times to order using the "Promo" codes they give in the app. They expect you to insert the code right at the end after you have added items to your cart. Final step when you want to put in the promo code it syays "Maximum Usage" - They do not disclose that there is a limmited amount of vouchers where they advertise the discount. What a horrible way to trick your customers into thinking they will be getting a discount on your inflated prices. Avoid MrD and rather use Uber Eats or even better, order directly from the restaurant if possible.

Order-DFD216735364 never got delivered. When asked for a refund of R662,85 I'm told the driver was at my place and could not get hold of me. So he left with my order? I have cameras in front of my place showing he was never at my place. Mr. D refuses to refund me. Do I open a theft case? I still paid for the items that I never received. When we phoned, we are told it's our responsibility to make sure we get our delivery? Ok, so where is it? In the meantime, I'm out of pocket and desperate.

I'm extremely disappointed . I order on Mr D every day on my lunch and today was horrible. I called in their helpline to inform them that I received the wrong order and my request was denied. I tried eating what i received and the dood was horrible. I lost my money and was unable to eat lunch today due to this.

Our delivery driver drove to the wrong side of town the last time we ordered and stood there for nearly 20 minutes before starting to drive again after phoning the call center and explaining this to them and that we would not be accepting the order due to the concern of food safety and them saying they understand and that they would cancel the order they never did and the driver still showed up quite confrontational I might add because I didn't want to accept the food now I see they have removed my ability to place cash orders yet they are they ones in the wrong their service generally isn't the best and now they do this they must have forgotten that they are not the only delivery service in town.

Disappointing Experience with Mr. D's Service
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Mr. D's team. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, I received no response or update on my query. To make matters worse, when their driver finally showed up, he was rude and unprofessional.
The lack of communication and disrespectful behavior from the driver left a sour taste in my mouth. I expect better service from a company like Mr. D's, especially when it comes to basic courtesy and communication.
Until they improve their customer service and driver etiquette, I would not recommend Mr. D's to anyone.
