This is my second HP41so still happy with this model. Most difficult bit was your baffling on line warranty application. Not good.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your mower arrived with some damage, but we are glad our customer care team was able to provide a prompt delivery of the necessary spare parts.
We appreciate your patience in handling the repairs yourself, and we are thrilled to hear that the machine performed very well during its first use.
Thank you for choosing Mountfield, and we wish you many years of great results with your new mower.
Lightweight, wheels look rather flimsy. No throttle so you can't slow the engine when not cutting. Fine when new, may be a nuisance when starting gets more unreliable with age. The cutter height is adjusted at each wheel, and is not very easy to see which lock-in slot has been selected. The lowest setting is too low, but the next one up is too high. The long handle cannot be folded for storage, unlike other models. Otherwise it seems to cut ok, the grass is collected properly, and it isn't too noisy. It is light to direct in constrained areas, and worth the money.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed and honest review. We truly value this kind of feedback as it helps us improve our future designs.
We’re glad to hear you find the mower lightweight, quiet, and effective at cutting and collecting grass, especially in constrained areas.
Regarding your concerns about the throttle and handle design, these features are often streamlined on our more lightweight models to keep them user-friendly and affordable, as you noted regarding the price. We also appreciate your specific comments on the wheel adjustment visibility and the height settings—we will certainly share this with our product development team.
We’re confident the mower will continue to serve you well, but if you ever have trouble with starting or maintenance as it ages, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.
