Can't give 0 rating , was supposed to be called back but never happened , phoned them was told kavan was busy then told won't be contacted possibly until Monday , thanks to them my wife is in tears and we are both stressed out trying to get a mortgage

Was asked to complete loads of info and upload sensitive documents onto the site, but the adviser never followed up with our mortgage request, Waste of time!

My mortgage adviser was Faye Jennings, She has a very professional approach and a determination to help her clients and find solutions when there are some obstacles on the way. Faye is a kind and friendly person who takes the time to explain everything to first time buyers and make them feel less stressed and more confident about the whole process.
Overall, Faye, you did a great job, thank you!

Had Faye Jennings as my mortgage advisor. Highly recommend as she was easy to get in touch with, extremely professional and being a first time buyer, helped the process go though as smooth as possible.

My mortgage advisor was Chris Hayes. He was excellent in every way. He was very responsive, highly professional, and was able to overcome some challenges, such a first time purchase, a 95% deposit, and self-employed income. I highly recommend Chris and I look forward to having him as my advisor in the future.

Faye Jennings and Elizabeth Culpin could not have been more helpful in what was / is a daunting experience of being first time buyers getting our feet onto the ladder. Would recommend using these and companies alike to ease a little pressure in what should be an exciting time!

When everyone else said no, mortgage gym put us in touch with a miracle worker who got us the best deal! Friendly, approachable, professional - I couldn't have hoped to meet a nicer woman. She was so knowledgable and always knew how to put our minds at ease.

We were advised of developments at every stage and they were even able to arrange all our insurance to automatically start when it needed to.

Buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can do - not when you use mortgage gym it isn't! We were chain free and it was all done and dusted within 4 months. Amazing!!!

One of the worst companies I have ever encountered. I made a profile 3 months ago and I went through their process speaking to an advisor. When I got an offer accepted I tried to contact them for the full application. They arranged phone calls with their advisor who did not return the call ! After chasing them they finally called me back! They asked for the home report (Scotland) and promised a reply back in a couple of days.A week later and no update!

Luckily I can buy cash and I do not have to use their "services". My sympathy to all the applicants with this company! And as it seems I am not the first to encounter such "service".

PS They also lie about a free service. The will let you know about the cost down the line (luckily it was not too late to withdraw for me)

Linda from MortgageGym was outstanding. No pressure, totally up front around costs and fees and enabled me to make an informed choice. When you deal with people who aren't looking just to make money but provide a quality of service, it does restore your faith!

I fed in the required information, was given a choice of high street lenders with some attractive rates and then booked an appointment with a broker. Sadly the broker then offered a mortgage with 2K of fees and a middling rate. That felt pretty much like a game of bait and switch and was basically a waste of everyone's time. Everyone was quite pleasant and helpful but the difference between what appeared to be available with the quite detailed information I'd supplied vs the product offered was considerable.

Total waste of time. Good idea but I had a terrible experience. The website would continually freeze and crash whenever I tried to change mortgage terms or initial rates to compare.

When I found a mortgage that was suitable, I couldn't apply for it myself, I had to speak with an advisor who wanted to charge me £295. His recommendation to me was absolutely terrible, first he suggested a mortgage from a lender who I knew wouldn't approve my application due to their lower income multiplication rules. He then followed up saying he's had a look and that there was absolutely no way I would be approved for Help to Buy and that it would be impossible for me to get a mortgage from any lender unless i raised an additional £10,000 on top of my depsit...

I spoke with a local broker about this who said this was total nonsense. Using a local broker, my Help to buy application has been approved in full and my mortgage submitted - and I haven't spent a penny.

Only starting the process but so far the service is excellent. I have received an appointment quickly and the advices given are really useful.
