If you want to have a car in Montenegro DO NOT use Montenegro Car. we ordered an automatic van seating 7 pepople, and when we came to the counter they notified us they don't have this or any other car for us. No notice, no efforts to offer any alternative, and no efforts to secure a car from another agency. we were left high and dry and had to start searching for cars in the airport.

We nemen een extra verzekering om geen kosten te hebben bij een ongeval, zeggen ze: 'it's not my company' en moet je zelf maar zorgen dat je wordt terugbetaald. Bovendien praten ze liever met de man dan met de vrouw. Letterlijk gezegd: 'Let me talk to your man'.

I rented car last week, people working at airport desk were very helpful, car was clean and new, my flight was slightly late, i notified them by email and they arranged everything without problems. I recommend this rent a car to everyone coming to Montenegro.

Straight forward and good value car rental. I did keep them posted about the continuous changes to our flight (thanks Ryanair) as per the instructions emailed and they were very accommodating to this. Eventually the flight was delayed massively and we arrived in middle of the night. No problems collecting the car but we did have to pay the out of hours fee. The car itself was fine and no clever tricks or surprises when handing the car back. Can't really ask for any more - thanks very much!

Do not use this company! Avoid it at any cost! You can book car online and pay 50% of amount, but if you arrive a bit later (even if you provide your flight number and will checkin online) - you will not get a car and no refunds are made. They are acting rude and do not care about their customers. Their rules and terms does not cover such situations so they are just acting as scammers by taking your money for the car and not giving you a car that you paid for. Just go to any other proper European company for car rental.

We had had a bad experience before with a car rental company trying to fleece us. so had to ditch that booking and find an alternative. Thank goodness we found George and this company. He was kind, patient, polite, honest and straightforward to deal with. Car was in great shape. He didn’t ask for a deposit, and return was super smooth even though we were early and the car was a bit dirty. Highly recommend to anyone. Especially as many of the other rental outfits seem really dodgy in Tivat (even some of the big name ones).

We had the best experience ever in Herceg Novi with this Car rental company. The booking on their website is super smooth, the prices are great (even with the full insurance, with that they require only a 300 EUR instead of 900 EUR deposit/hold on your card). Communication was super good, we picked up and brought back the car at Herceg Novi bus station (they have an office there) and are I think the only good car rental office in the city. Our small car was super clean and maintained. We received the deposit back within a few days.

So for anyone looking for a good car rental company in Herceg Novi city, I can 100% recommend them and would come back any time!

We booked a 7 seater and paid the deposit The car they had broke down. That happens.
What they didn't do was tell us. We arrived at the airport to find their office deserted. No contact information anywhere, no phone number, email and certainly no "Agent will meet you at the airport". An agent from another hore firm had the managers number and he called him for us. The message we got "Contract cancelled not my problem" No one else had a 7 seater. We had a two hour journey, no buses and no cars - our only option was a taxi 260 Euros later we got to our accommodation. No contact from this company whatsoever . The next day still nothing, I eventually got hold of them but told me to go through the booking agent. I hired another car from them as 1 person not arrived so could get a 5 seater . They wouldn't discuss anything aboutthe taxi or the cancelled contract or lack of communication - conveniently not speaking English when it suits. Still fighting to get our taxi fare back 3 months later . Dodgy as hell these guys. Use someone else it just isn't worth the risk.

I needed a car after landing at TGD immediately. There was a desk for this car rental among more famous franchises like Sixt, Hertz and others which I prefer to avoid due to my previous experience.
The guy at the desk was quick, he gave me a new Kia Stonic, which was immediately ready in the parking lot.
Drop-off was also easy, and I had even one change for which they weren't making any problems. Quite flexible.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD COMPANY

They charged whole deposit for minor damage not the smaller excess amount. The guy was very rude and it took him half an hour to produce a receipt for my credit card insurance. Also the car was old dirty and full of existing damage. Driving like a tractor. And tank was only half full when I got the car. Hopefully my worst rental experience ever.
