Top Marks for Mark!
I'm travelling to Mexico in a few weeks time, and many who have hired a car there will know what a nightmare it can be with car insurance, and local agents pressuring one to buy additional cover (especially after a long, tiring flight). I had a bad experience earlier this year, so I wanted to make sure I had the cover I needed before I go and minimise potential headaches if something happens.
MSE led me to Moneymaxim. Yesterday and today I had conversations with a Moneymaxim representative, named Mark. Mark couldn't have been more helpful. He understands the issues, has comprehensive (excuse the pun) knowledge of the various policy covers and is very friendly without being the slightest bit pushy.
As I say, Top Marks for Mark!

Waste of time getting your details when…
Waste of time getting your details when trying to insure for full eu license to then realise they only cover a limited amount of eu countries. Don’t waste my time, make it clear you only cover a small number of eu countries.

So many thanks for alerting us to the issue you faced - we had an insurer who would cover every EU country, but they have recently added exceptions without notifying us - and that has caused the issue you faced.
We are reprogramming the question set, and what's more after our call together we are already talking to another insurer to try to fill the gap.

They were amazingly helpful. I needed help on how to use the website in purchasing a car hire and an annual excess insurance. asked for a call back and they tried multiple times to reach me as I was having issues with my phone. When they did reach me, they were informative and helpful. It felt very much like a professional -standard conversation with a trusting friend. I have never felt more positive after buying insurance ever.

A third 5-star review...
A third 5-star review for the third experience of fantastic customer service and great pricing with transparent policy terms. I wanted to arrange car hire excess insurance for a garage courtesy hire car but wasn't sure which option was best, after a quick and very informative phone call, that was answered promptly, I was sorted. I have used this company a few times over the past few years and each time received the same great service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing company
Absolutely amazing company. Wonderful supportive help from Sally and later David in finding out what type of extra insurance I wanted to hire a car in the USA. Heavens it was confusing and heavens they were patient with me. They even kindly waited on the phone whilst I completed the insurance I had chosen online to make sure it all went through OK ( which it did. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great customer service
Good prices and even better customer service. I had a problem with one of the companies I bought with via them, which turns out to have been my mistake. After complaining to moneymaxim I received a very prompt reply from Mark who followed everything through for me until everything was sorted. Really great service and highly recommended.
