@Milton Keynes Council you are super unprofessional, you do not care about your residents at all. You play on my lovely Milton Keynes City reputation with your unskilled staff and fresh graduates who even do not know how to write formal paper.
You promote aggressiveness between residents and never ever care about them.
I put my garage door to protect my 3 girls from potential robbers and you just enforce me to remove door. Whose rights are you for? For people who do robberies, for people who complain on neighbours based on solely personal jealousy. Big disappointment towards Council and already thinking of moving to better place though very sorry for my lovely city.

Most horrible council in the world.

let alone Milton Keynes is not one of the best cities, council doing things to make it worse.
I applied for garage door, they rejected, lol. fully refused. this is most horrible experience in my life, it's just a garage door. I already spend GBP 2000 on door, paid another 400 for application and it refused forcing me to remove garage door, because one neighbour complained.

you guys doing things to encourage me to move out from this city at all. And I will move out from this city

Got a fine for parking, for a small mistake in selecting the start time. although I left earlier and I have explained the mistake (I still have paid the full amount of parking, just it erroneously let it start later, but came back before the end of parking) , the didn't want to cancel the fine. It was clearly a mistake, they didn't want to close an eye. thankfully I don't live in MK and I regard to avoid spending more money there.

Milton Keynes Council and Planning Department have proven themselves to be the most shameful and uncaring in our City's history.
They have no respect to how the City was originally designed, planned and created. From the beautiful early days of open spaces, low density houses and a place to love, they have allowed and created poor quality high desity housing estates with little or no proper new large green areas.
They allow the building of vast useless warehouses everywhere, with the stated lie of "they bring jobs to the City"...if they do, its low skilled work as these buildings are so big, much of the donkey work within in them will be done by robots, not people.
Why can you not attract high skilled companies to the City?..we need Scientists/Engineers/Innovators with smaller business units so they can start and expand. Not MK Council............
The latest disaster to our City are the giant warehouses at the top of Newport Pagnell, another giant boil on the backside of this once great area.
This group of incompetant people are guilty of the mass destruction of acres of green land, the killing of huge amounts of flora, fauna and wildlife.
My one wish is that in the future the damage they have caused to our enviroment will be a criminal offence and they can be brought to book for what they have done.

Several issues, first is with the condition of the pavements in the forgotten for 40 years street!!!! Signage that literally disappeared!!! Answer not a priority!!!! Out contract waste and recycle centres to private companies who treat staff like not humans and violate rights of people disposing their refuse, asked to leave it in box to go through the bag!!!!

Absolutely terrible no help with anything. They discriminate against My poor mother and I. They treat you like children and they’re always doing assessments that do not materialise in anything.

Repeatedly I have to go and hunt for my bins after collection, particularly the green waste one. I am fed up with having to do that, because bin men can't be bothered to put it where they picked it up from! And this is just the last straw in a very long line of issues with Milton Keynes Council. If I could give half or no star, I would.

Hi it will be two weeks on 14 off August, not heard from Mk connect , about my account , this happened on the 31st July , the drop off point changed 4 times in taxi .this can’t be right at all , the the atmosphere in the in taxi is quite bad , no talking. Like being in a prison ,you can’t complain 0r talk , most are very very rude And nasty , it seems when you do complain you are in the wrong , if I could I would put zero star , very un happy customer

Reported overhanging branches and dead trees in February. No response! Repeated phone calls - ignored! Months gone by so wrote to CEO, you know the guy we pay hundreds of thousands a year. So ignorantly rude he never responded. What a state MK verges are. Take a pay cut and get the dangerous vegetation removed and the grass cut!

I am trying to contact them for a while and not for first time this is happening. Being ignored and at the end ill go and walk on the building and make huge scandal because I am fed up of receiving ignorance from a government institutions that is there to server the citizens. I have been forwarded different council tax bill each month since last February 2024. I never been late and always paying in front and today I received text msg I am in debt of £14 and I need to pay or ill end up in court? If they ignore me for another two days I'll walk in the council and ill make huge scandal enough is enough if they can't do their job simply find somebody who can! I am furious and I am in my right to be and I don't have another option left if I am being bullied by the council

Bulky waste collection didn’t arrive. I rang them and they said that it can take up to a week for them to collect it from the collection day… could have told me this when I booked online. Also had to pay again to reschedule it because there was a payment ‘error’ and it needed to be refunded even though money left my account when I paid for it weeks ago. Now I’m awaiting a manager to review this and refund me…

The person I spoke to was cold, rude and treated me like I owed them something. Horrible experience. All they want is your money, she was happy to take another payment but had no intention of helping me.

UPDATE. Following my posting I received a home visit from one of the waste and recycling managers to apologise and address the issues. He even took away the excess waste that had accrued in my hall. Extra measures are being put in place to make sure the crews are aware they need to empty and return my bins from outside my house not the street and this was done today with no issues.
I am very relieved to have this matter settled and appreciate the home visit.

My local authority, Milton Keynes, uses a contractor for waste collection. I am disabled and have an assisted collection - although I may as well not have for the number of times the crews miss my bins. They always lie because online the bins are marked as collected when they are not! Numerous complaints, online reporting it doesn’t matter one bit. All I get is that they have »talked to the contractor  ». Clearly not in the least customer- focused just out for profit. The nano seconds longer it takes to collect my bins from outside my front door to the pavement cannot possibly affect their bottom line. Milton Keynes council also need to look at their contract management as whoever is leading on this particular contract doesn’t know what they are doing either. You fine companies who break contract terms until it hurts and they improve their performance.

I would put a zero star if i could.
All the staff i have dealt with lie, don't care and only care about getting money, but then again they did bget ripped off for 60 million lol, thats how clever the staff are. Terrible way to treat tenants. we lost our house in a fire and the housing officer Apryl ( stupid spelling ) bought us around a food parcel and Everything was months out of date !! she must have asked for that. I have had the misfortune of meeting and speaking to the most cold, uncaring, unfeeling awful people and they are the housing officers for the council. The job description must state " Must not care about people"

I serve on the Child Poverty Commission for Milton Keynes Council, chaired by Hannah Markham QC. I very much think the council's recognition of and support for this crisis has been fantastic. I work outside of the organisation, so I have cosmopolitan objectivity apropos the attestations for its social services.

I have also been involved in the Winter Night Shelter MK charity for many years, in addition to starting several chapters of community fridge franchises, all of which depend heavily on support from council resources (Great Linford and Netherfield and Wolverton).

3rd visit on 7th Feb until 9th 2024 was great as usual and the reception staff were as brilliant and helpful as on my previous 2 visits.I will always book this lovely hotel in the future.Well done the Moxy.

Leaving a mother and her 8 year old son in a one bedroom flat with black mold and a male neighbour that harass and terroris them. She's been told to sleep in her frontroom which is and small open planned with her kitchen. This coucil is the worse I've ever seen only cares when there not getting their rent. Absolutely DISGUSTING how they treat there tenants 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Week in and week out no rubbish or recycling collection, i have to contact them every week to complain, look council its not a hard job to get right even with your low IQ !.

We asked for a bulk waste collection of a divan bed and mattress. The earliest date we were given was 18 December which is 7 weeks away.
Could Milton Keynes Council not have made the public aware of this delay? The Council staff were very matter of fact and said that it's not a complaint and it's because of a new contractor......

Problems getting access to recycling centres despite making online bookings. Because a confirmation email was not sent, customer services did not believe me that I had made a booking. Help was lacking (and not for the first time). Upon asking for a manager's details I was put through to someone who spoke at me, refused to let me speak and then promptly hung up on me. People try to do the right thing with disposing of their waste and not only discouraged but provided with little to no customer support. Disgusting.

The left wing labour party who are in power proped up by the left wing liberal democrats should be ashamed of them selves, they take no notice of who put them in power,it really is like living in a communist dictatorship, I'm sure it will not be long before the try and force us to call each other comrade, they are just a dictatorship !.

Your dishonest, ignorant approach to the bin roll out is astonishing,we even had to report the Labour leader Marland to the labour party for his behaviour, the rest of the councilors are no better, they are pure scum of the earth.
