Really efficient and reliable. Did a great job moving my things to storage and pack it all in.

We used Millingtons for a house move a couple of weeks ago, and would whole heartedly recommend. Their communication was exemplary, super responsive, clear, and exceptionally polite, and they just "got" the issues that come with a tricky chain and made the uncertainty surrounding our move much easier to manage knowing they are experienced and can quickly grasp what needs to be done as things in our chain were changing.

They gave a clear quotation, which was pleasantly surprising, and there were no hidden costs or surprises. Amazing value for money given how much they did too!

Everyone involved in the packing, moving, and unloading was very friendly, efficient, and diligent! They were also great with our two young children, personable and considerate and did things (without having to be asked) like not stacking boxes too high so it was safe for the children, being considerate as to what things to leave until last to pack etc. Our children really enjoyed what could have been a stressful and scary day for them, largely in part to the way Millingtons were.

We had a lot to move, and every single item was packaged with care, made it in one piece to the new house, and was exactly where I expected it to be.

I was dreading a big move with two young children, but Millingtons made it a fun, easy, stress-free day, and we will 100% use them again on any future move without hesitation.

Guys were really happy and efficient, they couldn’t have worked any faster. Only one very small thing, it would help to have a rough idea what was in boxes.
ie:- Bedroom 1, bedding, or shoes,
ie:- Kitchen, saucepans, or small appliances. Only an idea, it might slow you down a little but quite helpful for the client.

A friendly and efficient service, from the initial contact call to Andy, all the way through to completion of the move. John & Callum turned up on time and worked through (with only a short break), to ensure we completed in good time. Thankfully everything went without a hitch, for which we were extremely grateful. We would have no hesitation in recommending these guys. A job well done.

We recently used Millingtons to move an elderly family member. She packed her own property because she didn't want it to be damaged and to save money. They collected some of her property and took it to storage the night before. They then collected the rest on the day to deliver it to the new address. All appeared fine although the cavalier attitude of some staff was noted on the day with a very old piece of furniture being broken, and the member of staff just dropping the broken bit to the floor and walking away; who would notice, eh!? We've had to repair at least four pieces of antique furniture, which weren't looked after. There was a lot of stuff to be moved and it took a long time to work through the boxes, sorting it and putting it into the new house. This took a number of months as the customer is elderly and the new house is smaller. It was found that a number of boxes containing property of great sentimental value were missing. Millingtons were contacted via email and phone, promises were made to look for the items but they were never found. Millingtons were adament that they'd be in the property but they aren't. In the end compensation was mentioned but it turns out that because a claim wasn't submitted within seven days of the move, compensation isn't an option. Weight that in your mind, you MUST know something is missing or broken, amongst ALL your belongings, in seven days of the move.... Not good if you have a large house move. So now Millingtons are saying it's tough luck, either Mlingtons has lost them or they have a thief in their crew. Take that into account before you use them... We won't next time.

I paid for the pack and removal service. John and his team did great! Packed my house quickly and efficiently and couldn't be more helpful when unloading into the new house. Also collected boxes after the move too which was handy. Really great job, would definitely recommend!
