i had been trying to open a 2 year fixed bond for weeks and so initially Rachel sent me the form by post helpfully as online was not accepting my request. I still could not transfer the money via my bank as I did not have an account number. I rang and spoke to Alicia, who was extremely helpful and I was able to transfer the money. I spoke to Alicia today and she confirmed that the money has been received and has been extremely patient and helpful. Customer service indeed!

Easy to do but couldn't find the interest rate I'm being paid.

Very friendly and helpful front of desk staff. Hindered by inability to get online, forcing me to pay a deposit into my account by cheque!!

Vicky at the Rothwell Branch was very helpful with opening new accounts and assisting with other queries regarding already opened accounts.

I visited Kettering Branch on 8th May 2026 for advice in respect of my account. The lady who dealt with me was polite, courteous and extremely helpful, providing me with excellent advice. Later the same day I had some difficulty in registering for online service. I telephoned the Customer Support Team and spoke to Emma who was again polite, courteous and extremely helpful. Emma spent time taking me through the procedure which ended with a positive result. I was very impressed by the way I was dealt with by both of these members of staff. I felt that both of them went the extra mile in providing me with excellent customer service.

No excessive waiting on hold. A polite and concise experience with someone who demonstrated that they knew what what they where talking about.

Laura in Kettering branch was so helpful and friendly this morning. They are so genuine, not at all false or forced, and I felt very comfortable. Thank you

I am so glad I found the Market Harborough Building Society! They always answer the phone promptly with only a few options to choose from. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and don't mind you taking your time with them and in my case asking some very obvious questions. My last communication was with Emma who was absolutely delightful and a credit to MHBS.

I don't usually submit feedback but feel compelled to do so in this instance. As a new customer I've been extremely impressed with the level of service provided by the customer service advisors. Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

Member of staff was helful, friendly and informative. I was just setting up my account and they were excellent.

I needed to change my mobile number in order to get access. When I phoned Emma was everything I'd hoped for. She was friendly and took me through all the steps involved very patiently, so it all went very smoothly. I was most impressed.

Went along to the Market Harborough building society to open a new account and was greeted by a warm friendly welcome from the staff. I was then directed to Jen who was able to assist me with all that was required to open the account ,no pressure and left feeling I’d made the right choice.

Am not good with IT but Claire was endlessly patient and courteous simply a super ambassador for your company with excellent customer service skills

Wanted to close my long dormant account. I didn't even remember that it was an on-line account. The operative, via phone, talked me thru the logging on procedure , including PW creation and successfully closed my account and auto transferred the account balance to my bank account within about three minutes over the phone. All this was accomplished with the minimum of fuss.

Excellent customer service. The call handler was so patient and talked me through what to do. She also knew what was needed to solve my problem. This was above and beyond. Really impressed.
