Ordered a Mercedes from these fine people in April and received it a week ago. Pash at the dealership handled everything for me and it was a very smooth buying experience, they delivered the car to my address in pristine condition and I'm very happy.

Car was collected for a service and it's first MOT. Under chassis video was emailed to me. Everything was conducted very well and the car was washed and returned (it didn't need a valet).

I had a fantastic experience with the team at Mercedes-Benz of Exeter. I initially had a subframe inspection which the car failed so i tried to book in Taunton, but they couldn't see me until June. With my MOT set to expire on the Saturday, I was in a real bind.
​I called Exeter on Friday, and despite being fully booked, they managed to squeeze me in for a last-minute appointment on Wednesday. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and had everything sorted by Friday. I felt truly well-treated, and their willingness to help me out in a pinch was amazing. I highly recommend them for their professional service and brilliant communication.

I was offered a service of 2 hours both online and verbally but then was told the day before this did not exist in Plymouth although you can still book online. Therefore I had to change my arrangements to fit in without knowing when I would receive my car back .
When returned a boot shelf fault I had asked to be rectified was apparently due to me damaging the fittings, the scenario offered as I explained was impossible in practice, the answer was it’s my problem and pay over £600 and they wound resolve in addition all they were interested in was trying to sell me a service agreement at 45 per month.
I’ve now escalated my concerns and hopefully Mercedes will rectify this .

We recently bought a new GLC from you MB at Taunton. Right from the first time we set foot in the building we were made to feel very welcome by the receptionist. We dealt with Pash for the purchase of our new car and he is excellent - very efficient, knows his product and always has time to tell a good story! We never once felt rushed although you can see the dealership is busy. Felt like a very nice place to be, everyone we saw was smiling and friendly - and the car is fabulous! Thank you.

I originally posted about significant pre-delivery defects on two Smart #1 Brabus vehicles. I'm updating this review to reflect what happened next.

Once Travis Lord in the Customer Experience team became aware of the situation, his response was excellent. He took full ownership, arranged and paid directly for all repairs through an independent bodyshop, and confirmed in writing where there was no issue to resolve. Communication throughout was prompt, professional and genuinely helpful.

The original delivery fell well short, and that shouldn't have happened. But the way CWCFleet handled it once it reached the right person was exactly what you'd hope for. Credit to Travis specifically for turning it around so quickly and fairly.

I recently went through a vehicle rejection process on my Mercedes-AMG A45 S, and I have to say the way this was handled by Mercedes-Benz Exeter was very professional from start to finish.

While it was obviously frustrating to have an issue with a brand new car, the team dealt with everything promptly and transparently. Once the problem couldn’t be resolved, the rejection process was handled smoothly through Mercedes-Benz Finance, and the dealership worked quickly to get me into a replacement vehicle.

A special mention to George Hood, who was excellent throughout. He kept me informed, was easy to deal with, and went out of his way to make the process as straightforward as possible. When there were a couple of delays outside of their control, they made sure I wasn’t left without a car, even arranging a temporary AMG loan vehicle which really helped.

Overall, while the situation itself wasn’t ideal, the way it was resolved was exactly what you would expect from a premium brand. I’ve now had multiple Mercedes vehicles and this experience has reinforced my confidence in staying with them.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Mercedes A200 AMG Line Premium Plus from Stephen Berndt last month, and I can honestly say the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish.

From my initial enquiry to having the car delivered to London in just 8 days, everything was handled with incredible efficiency and professionalism. Stephen went above and beyond right from the beginning, providing a detailed and thorough walkaround video of the car that gave me complete confidence in my purchase, even before seeing it in person.

What really set him apart, though, was his dedication to customer service. When the car arrived, he spent a full hour on the phone with me, patiently guiding me through all the features and ensuring everything was set up perfectly. No question felt too small, and no request was ever treated as a problem. In fact, he even accommodated a couple of custom requests at no extra cost, which was a really appreciated touch.

Stephen is incredibly thorough, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable about the vehicles he represents. It’s rare to find someone so committed to making the experience smooth and enjoyable.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to all my friends, and I would absolutely buy from him again. A fantastic ambassador for Mercedes Exeter—his excellent work truly deserves recognition.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT REVIEW

If you are not on a service plan with Mercedes-Benz and are looking for a premium service from a business that values your custom and communicates effectively, I would suggest avoiding this dealership.

My experience was extremely poor from start to finish. The level of customer service fell well below expectations, with my personal details recorded incorrectly. I received little to no updates unless I actively chased, and there was a clear lack of empathy when my car was retained for an extended period.

In addition, I experienced a lack of transparency throughout regarding repairs and pricing. I was not provided with costs in writing prior to initial work commencing, supporting documentation for the repairs was only shared after I requested it with the technician’s handwriting being illegible. There was also a lack of transparency regarding exactly what was being repaired and which parts were being used. There was no clear scope of work or reliable completion timeline. For a main dealership, I find this completely unacceptable.

I have raised a complaint with the General Sales Manager prior to writing this review and was informed that this level of service is considered acceptable and within their expected standards, which, in my view, speak volumes.

I bought an approved used Mercedes, and George arranged the sale and test drive. On the delivery day the car had all the work completed as discussed, and handover was in-depth. George also was very responsive when there were issues adding services such as CarPlay, he quickly resolved these.

Pleasant and helpful on phone, excellent support from Dan to fit space saver wheel and guide us to garage where quickly fitted new tyre. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly at the garage.
