Today they called me saying they are with bluecredit and they are calling to follow up on my loan application. They verified details and said I must accept Debi check for them to be able to do a credit check report, to which I agreed only to find out I have been tricked into approving to give them power of attorney on my behalf and they debited my account which can't be cancelled, I now have to send an e-mail to both them and my bank to cancel this nonsense. THEY ARE AN ENTIRE SCAM!

If there was a rating such as zero stars that is what this company was gonna get. I didn't complete my application for them to render a service to me but they deducted my money, now no one is helping me and no one is answering their calls. Worse part is they blocked "reversals" of debit orders via banks meaning you have to do it through them which is highly impossible since they are ghosts basically. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM!

Today they called me saying they are with bluecredit and they are calling to follow up on my loan application. They verified details and said I must accept Debi check so they will be able to collect R750 month end to repay the loan I agreed. Problem came when a second person called claiming to be from verification he then explained the money to be debited has nothing to do with a loan I'm paying them for helping fix my credit record. I immediately told him to erase my information from their system become I never requested assistance with fixing my credit record. He claimed to not be aware of the 1st consultant's actions. They are unethical taking advantage of consumers.i can't get through to their offices

They deducted my money R675 for 2 months after that, they called me to say they won't be able to assist me because my account is still new, they will have to refund me back the money deducted. I was surprised when they came back to deduct after telling me that they won't be able to assist. Now l've been calling them, they keep you hanging for too long and end up hanging up the call. These people are ruthless and full of scamming people out of their desperate ways.

I want them to phone me back and also do a cancellation as well as a refund

People of South African this is pure fraud, these are bunch of liars and thieves. They stole R760 from my account and blocked FNB to make sure that we can't reverse money. Stay away from them please

Public Notice Regarding My Experience With MaxLaw Credit Legal
I am issuing this statement to document my personal experience with MaxLaw Credit Legal and to inform other consumers who may be considering engaging with this company.
I approved a DebiCheck mandate presented by MaxLaw Credit Legal. Prior to approving the mandate, I was informed that I would receive a full credit report, a credit assessment, and further guidance regarding my financial position. After the mandate was approved, I received one phone call requesting that I sign a power of attorney authorising them to act on my behalf. When I requested clarity on the nature and scope of the services they intended to provide, communication from the company ceased.
Despite multiple written and verbal requests, I did not receive:
• The promised credit report
• The promised credit assessment
• Any form of follow up communication
• Confirmation of cancellation of the debit order
I also requested that the debit order be cancelled due to non delivery of services. This request was ignored, and the debit order was processed against my account regardless.
My statements are based solely on my own documented experience, supported by my communication records and bank statements. I have since discovered that numerous other consumers have reported similar experiences, which raises broader concerns about the company’s conduct.
In my opinion, the pattern of non delivery and lack of communication is deeply concerning and warrants caution from the public. I am sharing this information in good faith, in the public interest, and without malice, so that other consumers can make informed decisions.
I reserve all my rights in this matter.

To anyone reading this... Please, REPORT, REPORT, REPORT! I have sent e-mails to all credit bureaus and rgulatory authorities. I have also sent e-mails to all investigtive journalists and media houses. This is a massive scam involving many people, who have numerous companies registered under them claiming to be debt relief companies or law firms. Unfortunately for them, I caught on before they could debit my account that they are scammers. The amount goes from being once off to being a 14 months subscription for absolutely nothing. sadly, you can't stop/reverse it. I had to close my Capite account! Please also put a Scam alert request with all credit bureaus because if they have your details, who knows what they can do with them. REPORT!!!!

Maxlaw gave me a call and promised they would be able to remove a default on ITC. It never happened, instead after deducting R750 from my account they sent me a copy of ITC report and said that there is an account that's reflecting negative...what was promised was not delivered. They really are a scam and I will be reporting them to the relevant ombudsman. You cannot take advantage of people and steal from them in the process - completely unacceptable.

They are criminals.They just take mkney and do not do anything.They have scammed how many people.

These people are thieves and I'm taking them to the ombudsman as they stole R750 for 2 months they said it was a Debi check and stole my money

They promised me a loan, I did the Debi Check for R750 monthly deduction. They deducted on my pay day, and I still have not received a loan. Their phone number makes you hang on with no response then automatically drops. I have been calling them for weeks. TOTAL Scam, may God punish them severely for what they are doing to people.

They are no where to be found they deducted R10750 from my account you call the number it takes forever to allocate you a consultant and hang up the call please please once they call you do not even give them chance to speak with you

Please do NOT try them they are 100% scam. You don't get through to them and that WhatsApp don't work they never call you back. Please do not trust them

I wish there was a way for me to report them because now I lost a whole R750 but I applied for a loan

Do not talk to them or agree to let then do a credit check. They will take your money
After a 100 x calls and countless emails they will ignore you and those phone numbers dont work. They made it impossible to get hold of them. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

I have mailed Carte Blanche to investigate them and you should do the same.

They scammed me ...no one is replying on the Whatsapp number that was used to sign me up for subscription not even the admin number is replying...all number don't work . They call you when they want you to subscribe after that you are ghosted

Maxlaw conned me into approving a mandate for a debit order of R675 by conning me that it was for a personal loan. When no loan showed on my bank account I contacted them,only to tell me I don't qualify for a personal loan loan. They refuse to refund my money and say the debit order is for 4 months. I cannot reverse it either as they put a stop on the bank reversing it. They are thieves who steal your money!
