My name is Samantha and my daughter, Isabella, is an upcoming model and she is only 16 years old.
So naturally I had to visit all the modeling adverts posted onGumtree and Job today, which I’m sure many people take advantage of on job sites. I wasn’t quite sure with MagicModels as I seen many good and bad reviews here.
I have visited all 6 agencies and studios in London that advertised for modeling services and I finally chose Magic Models and the all girl Studio 10 team because they were the only ones that did not force me into buying portfolios!!!
Lisa and her assistant contacted me and explained in detail how this works. This was 3 weeks ago. My daughter got her first job with MagicModels today and she is over the moon. Thank you Lisa and the excellent Studio 10 team. You guys are awesome. These other reviews usually comes from the dodgy competitors out there! Gracias!!

What an embarrassment...

M Models AKA Magic Models AKA Studio10 ... Judging by the reviews used to be based in Baker Street but they now have rented an office Floor 4, 156 Cromwell Road, SW7 4EF. No doubt they will move again.

Things to be aware of:
1. JobToday is full of scam advertisements
2. A real agency will never ask you to pay for anything, if they believe you have potential they will cover all the costs, after all they want you to make money because it means they make money
3. There's no such thing as a job where you need to pay first
4. Regards to getting a portfolio, get it done somewhere genuine where they don't lie, there's plenty of worthy photographers out there

I walked into this office turned studio, I was greeted by three little girls. They show you some poses, take some photos, they tell you to come back in 20 minutes whilst the agency/Lisa Miller makes a decision about you (this process makes no sense whatsoever) then once approved (which I assume everyone is approved), one of the little girls (Valentina) takes you into the back office and explains the costs and tries to get you to pay immediately for training and a portfolio.

Don't fall for the scam.

I like this all women team! I join them last week and already got my first job like photo model for the wedding designer. Got paid £250 for 2 hours. The Studio team is very friendly and they do very nice photo shoot for me. Thank you.

Been there last month and already got two jobs. Got paid 200 a day for the music video. I am happy but the advert said they pay 300 a day. Nice people in the team and enjoyed the photo-shoot

Hello!!! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION! and read this carefully. Yes Dario , is telling the absolute truth. I myself was actually supposed to make a review, straight after the visit in Baker Street but I got held up on other stuff. But today it flashed back in my mind, so I will do this review to save EVERYONE from being scammed. Although I did not get SCAMMED, because I did quite a lot of research on how to spot fake / real model agency. AND BOYYY I TELL YOU!! I thank god for cleverly research inside out and out. Which YOU should do for anything similar to this. Okay let’s get into this. JOBTO DAY . MagicModels states that so much crap about becoming a model and what they offer. However when I turned up . It was THE WHOLE OPPOSITE. I arrived there where quite a few people who were waiting for their turn to get interviewed and photo. So when it got to me I met 3 ladies, I believe they’re from Spain or Italy. One was chubby, average height like 5.6 and 2 other . One with glasses and who is short like 5.3/ 5.2 and another girl who who I believed was short too even though she was sitting down the whole time just staring. So the studio is nice . They were able to make it look like a real photograph studio , they had model pics on their walls. They were nice but only for a cause. I remember reading their info mentioning that they will help guide you to pose when photographed . When the chubbybunny was taking photos of me. She said is that all you can do.. she had a confusion on her face . Instead of here straight away assuring on poses I should try , I said Oh do you know poses I can do. Then the face lit up and she was like oh yessss try this . However from the first reaction. That was definitely A RED FLAG! Shortly after finishing the lady in glasses her name is Lisa (but may not be her real name) told me to wait for 20min to come back she needed to wait for someone else who was the management of this wreck less shambolic despiteful agency called magic models to review my pics. The chubby let me see my pictures , which I saw and I like them she even reacted saying “wow beautiful” anyways after going off and they called in the next person etc ... when it was time to come back the same girl who’s sits on the chair and stares (throughout the beginning of me entering and modelling she just STARES like a zombie crotch down) she called me and wished me good luck with a unusual face expression a mixture of (hope she falls for it/what if she don’t/ I’m still worried)When entering back. Lisa said I got accepted that this so called person which I can’t remember the name of the manager like what she saw. Now this is where it goes really scammy... she was talking about portfolio of mine and how they can do it for me. Even though I stated I CAN DO IT myself but she kept on assisting themselves to do it . But it’s just a portfolio I thought it my mind. Lisa DID NOT bring any contract to read .. but showed me a paper with gold/silver/platinum levels with money up to £650 to PAY, I remember doing my research and there was someone who mentions that a FAKE agency would she h
You these kinds and you would need to pay. Firstly, IF THE MODEL AGENT IS REAL! You will NEVER have to pay anything , especially if they are a gent who want to hire models to MAKE MONEY for the agent and themselves etc. I kid you not guys. When I saw the people she asked me to look at .. I felt my heart just sunken .. like I’m really seeing this before my eyes. This girl was staring at me to see how I was looking because deep inside she knew what the scheme was about. Anyways after pretending I had interest , Lisa was asking me to pay .. and I was like I don’t have cash.. then she straight away called up all the other ways to pay through online.. even though I was saying what I was saying .. she was so desperate . She was pressuring me to pay now.. she told me there was a Lloyd bank up on the road and I soon as I got the money I can come back and pay for it... LOOOOL after playing her.. making think I was really going to do that. I made my way home, looking back frequent to check I was not being followed. Oh by the way when I was reading the paper. The chubby was going through all the pictures they taken of those victims and was looking at me through the reflection of the iMac the whole time which was of course unusual and creepy but obviously for a reason. Honestly thank goodness , I did not fall for the crap and I was able to get out of there safely. During the time I was reading the paper over and over. There was this one girl who was going along with it.. and I literally felt sorry because she was clueless ... BECAREFUL & DON’T GET SCAMMED. What they are doing karma will eat them 10x harder , for playing with people. They’re so WICKED & SENSELESS FOR THIS. I went on JobToday and I found a job saying all ages are allowed so I was like sure let's go and they just said to show up nothing else. But I was super paranoid so I went with my friend the studio 10 is very dodgy and small. When I went inside the room all I saw was a man, a short girl and she told my friend to leave because he didn't have an interview. Then I went into the office and there was a woman with glasses and she was playing music out of her computer for some reason and when I spoke she said she couldn't hear me like bruv you're playing music what do you mean you can't they then said I was underage so I needed my parents but they didn't say anything about that and kept pestering me about ID I said I didn't have it and they were just complaining and said how are people gonna identify you and I said I would get it soon. She suggested coming back the next day but I didn't really want to anymore and so I met up with my friends and searched them up and saw all these bad reviews which were a similar experience to me! Do not go or you will be scammed and eventually pay for your "free" pictures

I joined magic models agency and really likes it...it is not a scam because Magic Models agency and liked it. It is not a scam because they are an online agency.They recommed Studio 10 for test shoot and portfolios.I have done my portfolio there and already got two jobs for photoshoot for glasses company SpecSavers.My best friend also joined for free but only joined last week

It is a scam. Do not pay any money. You will regret it if you pay for the portfolio.

I took my son for interview and I found the team to be very professional and they done free registration after one month he done a job for a sunglasses brochure and he got paid £400

We went to the open casting when we applied for a job with JobToday.
I don’t have a photo book or portfolio but my girlfriend has got one already from Italy. So I did the test shoot and then they said to do the portfolio which is £400 but I don’t have to pay because Lisa from Magic Models will pay that to the Studio 10 for me. I paid £160 to the Studio because I want the portfolio and they are very nice. They asked to come the next day with 3 different outfits fir the photo shoot. My girlfriend registered for free with me. During lockdown last month, I have receive 3 jobs from them for COVID-19 awareness campaign photo shoot. And I got paid £120 per hour for 3 hours. Magic Models take 10 percent commission. I like the team very well and my girlfriend did a bikini photo shoot for A holiday hotel company in Spain. She for paid £500! Also MagicModels take 10 percent. I don’t know why people say bad things about them. I think every business has good and bad reviews. But I know MagicModels don’t charge to register and Studio 10 team is very professional and helpful. Bye and good luck

In the last months they are spamming a lot of job advertising on sites like job today. Guys don't even consider them, they are maybe the worst out there. I was new and naive about the world of modeling, I thought that that's the way. So when I applied on summer and they contacted me, I was happy. I went to their Studio10 in Baker street for a free photo shoot, they said that I got potential, but this was only to get money from me, about 400£. Because they "will make a portfolio" for you, but you need to pay for it. And then choose your photo, they will fix them with photoshop and you pay for it. Apparently is not even a real portfolio, is just a bunch of pictures passed through photoshop (even a bad quality) that they will give to you. And then goodbye. There's no job, there is nothing. You will only loose a lot of money. Stay away from magic models.
Oh, I tried to put this review on their website, but of course they removed it. Strange, isn't it?
