I had a new boiler installed, and they were very friendly, helpful, professional and efficient from start to finish. Their engineer Brian from the North East was really brilliant. I would whole heartedly recommend them without a single hesitation. Thanks everyone!

Rougher than 60 grit sandpaper. They installed a central heating system for my mother. The pipe work is terrible. Over soldered joins unlevel and uneven pipework. They sent a "joiner" to put a door on which he's made a right mess of. Absolutely disgusting! My laborer could have done better!

Great service , From the first enquiry to the completion of the install was faultless, very helpful and knowledgeable members of staff that took care of everything. The fitters went above and beyond and nothing was to much trouble even cleaned up each day

If this company contact you offering to install an air source heat pump PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
They do all the surveys etc, then hand all the work out to sub contractors, who they expect to do the jobs in ridiculously short amounts of times. Plumbers sat waiting for equipment to arrive. The electrician ended up buying the control unit for the heating with his own money in the end as it wasn't supplied with the heating!!
I was told I was getting 2 extractor fans when the original survey was done, but only 1 has been fitted so far. The heating was installed early May and I'm writing this review on 19th December. Last I heard, apparently a glazier is coming to cut a hole in my double glazed kitchen window so the outstanding fan can be fitted. That conversation took place a fortnight ago. When I spoke to the office last, I said I was tempted to speak to trading standards about it all, to which the young lady on the phone responded "yeah, yeah".
That attitude about sums this company up perfectly. They don't care about the customer or the sub contractors, they're just grabbing as much government money as they can!!
So... if they call..tell them no thanks. Switch energy network seem to be quite a good lot 👍

I needed to arrange a boiler service before Christmas as the last thing you need is your boiler going down when you've got family over the Christmas period.
They're able to fit me in like notice and they sent a engineer round named Matt. Matt immediately put me at ease and it didn't feel like he was in a hurry at all even though it was dinner time and he had his own family to get home to. He even went above and beyond by looking at our immersion heater and other radioators and telling us about all the workings of the plumbing and how best to keep down our bills which was really pleasing to me and my wife. Thank you Macbrook gas for the amazing service I would recommend you to other people!

Awful company to deal with. Don’t get back to you, intend to do unauthorised works at tenanted properties without the landlords permission and when the landlord attempts to engage to confirm the works being undertaken and give authority etc they’re just ignored. A shame as it’s wasted everyone’s time in the process and would likely have been a good little earner for them! The customer is clearly not at the heart of what Macbrook Gas LTD do, a poor decision for any company these days.

Avoid and use a reputable installer, not one who relies on touting for business via cold calling.

Today we had a new boiler installed by Ian, the whole process was fast and efficient, the new system is up and running the same day. We went from a system boiler to a combi, the job is clean and tidy with all traces of the old system removed.
Ian himself was friendly and very helpful, he ran me through and clearly explained everything that has been done.
After almost 12 months of no heating etc, we are extremely grateful!

Ian & Chris are absolutely fantastic 10/10. They carried out a boiler conversion which included installing a new combi boiler, changing pipe work & removing old boiler as well as hot water tank. Ian & Chris are professional, friendly and real experts. Communication was fantastic throughout the day and work was completed to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend Ian & Chris. Macbrook Gas also get 10/10. Prior to the work getting done, they carried out a full survey, documented everything and booked insulation & boiler work to be done on the same day. I am delighted by my overall experience.

The boiler fitter Ian and his assistant Ash, were excellent. They worked hard, communicated clearly and tidied as they went.
I've kept one star back not due to them but due to a small hiccup of a missing part so the electrician couldn't do his job the next day. Mac rook are sorting out out and Charlotte is always helpful on the phone.

Good workmanship. Ian and Chris were punctual and efficient, polite, well mannered and helpful. Clean and tidy workmanship. No complaints.

I'm really pleased in the way the whole process has taken place. The time it took to get things up and running was brilliant, both Ian and Chris work well together making the whole job run smoothly. Everything was explained to me, as each thing was being done with explanations through each process. The speed and efficiency of them both was brilliant.

Ian and Chris fitted a new boiler and 2 radiators. They were excellent from the start. On time, they went out of their way to find white towel radiators for us. They fully explained the process, and helped showed us how the new system worked. They were very professional, extremely clean and tidy throughout. They didn’t leave till it was all working correctly. I would give 6* s if possible, and would 100% recommend Ian and Chris. They worked on extremely hard, not stopping, and left only when we were happy. These guys are superb, a great credit to the company.

Excellent service from fitters Ian & Chris today & superd workers & so helpful throughout the day while fitting 1st time central heating.Left the property clean & tidy & couldn't wish for a better team to fit the heating.Nothing is a problem to them.Today was great to have 2 such brilliant fitters in my house.
