I needed a Renaissance appropriate dress for a wedding in October, I was worried that anything I bought would be too much like a costume so I searched around and found Lunss. Mia Maples (on YouTube) posted a video about custom dresses and I was really impressed with Lunss. Right away they were very fast to respond to all of my messages and worked with me to create my dream dress. It turned out beautifully and I couldn't be happier.

I discovered Lunss.com after watching a YouTuber share her experience creating a customised dress with them, and I decided to give it a try. After sending in my inspiration photos, I was assigned a stylist in December who guided me through the process.

By February, I had already received both my customised dress and matching veil — much quicker than I expected! The entire experience was smooth and professional.

The dress and veil truly exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship, details, and overall quality were absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and I can’t wait to wear them at my wedding this May!

Absolutely great experience. Perfect comunication and a customer-oriented approach. A huge variety of fabrics to choose from, based on the photo of the dress they can recommend the most suitable type of fabric. Very well sewn, exactly according to the photos. My custom size wedding gown arrived in about 35 days from the date of the order. Absolutely stunnig dress!

It's something amazing a special when you get to experience your ideas first hand. It's even better when you can find the right people to make it come to life. Lunss did this for me, especially Shirley. I'm glad she was able to work with me on my designs and tweak things I wasn't happy with. The dress fit nicely when I put it on and I know I will be making more dresses in the future.

I designed 2 dresses with Lunns Couture and my guests were so obsessed!! The entire night, I would have guests approaching me to ask where I had gotten the dresses from!! I love my perfectly designed wedding dress created by lunss for my special day!! the whole process was so easy and Shirley was so helpful. every detail was sewn with care and every change or alteration was excepted without any hesitation. the dress was better than I could imagine and was better than any wedding dress I tried in any boutique. I'm already dreaming up new dresses I'd love designed by the team as I was so happy!! ❤️❤️❤️

Although I was initially skeptical of Lunss, I decided to use them based on a number of reviews that I had come across on Reddit and TikTok. It was a rather straightforward process, until my dress was delivered and stolen. I immediately reported the theft to my apartment management, who confirmed the theft via video. After receiving this confirmation, I contacted both Lunss and the shipper. Lunss initially said that the fulfilled their end and implied there was nothing they could do, when pushed they offered a 15% refund or 20% discount on a new dress (which meant they were still getting paid a second time). I went back and forth with the shipper for weeks who ultimately concluded that my dress was verifiably "lost" and that I should contact the shipper for a refund. I did. They refused. I wouldn't recommend anyone use them.

Disclaimer: Thorough review!! Short: Overall I would rate 8/10 ⭐️! I ordered a chapel length wedding dress, cathedral length veilI and 7/8 sleeves. I loveddd that I could get a nice custom wedding dress for a fraction of the price & basically have all the input on the details. A unique experience and original dress. Still have to get alterations to the dress bust & completely redo the sleeves but would order again.

Long: I reached out early in March to make sure I could have my dress in hand latest end of this year preferably before the holidays. I was kindly asked if they could start on my project in July to finish up the orders that had to get out for this year. I was told production was 1 to 1 1/2 months and 2 weeks for shipping so I had plenty time. Shirley my stylist reached back out to me early July and we started on my dress. She was very responsive, patient and helpful. The communication gathering details for my dress was great. I even changed style of dress in the end thinking it would be a hassle & it was not easy peasy which I truly appreciated!! I paid and was told to be patient during the month to month and a half wait. Probably the longest wait of my life. I was so anxious I reached out on week 4 looking for an update and was told it was cut waiting to be sewn. I waited for week 6 and still was told to give them to end of the week for an update. I waited and reached out the end of the week and idk if anything more had been done because 1 of the seamstresses was sick? I was starting to really worry. Since we were passed the processing timeframe I was given, hadn’t seen the dress and the communication after paying wasn’t what I had hoped. I would also like to note I know I ordered a ball gown dress with a veil and sleeves so it may have needed more time. That wasn’t an issue really it was more so the communication and me asking to see the dress and not being able to.

I would definitely order again but over communicate details since the language barrier they don’t do zoom or calls just 1-2 message only a day cause of time difference. Also, if the date for the event was far out I would not use that date I wouldn’t use a date anything farther than 4 months. Idk how they work if it’s 1st come 1st served or by event date. I feel like because I used my wedding date of 2026 it took longer too. I should have communicated that maybe? But since they told me the timeframe multiple times I didn’t feel I had to. I was going off what was told to me.

The dress took exactly 10 days to arrive. It was in a big bag for a big dress I expected a box. Nonetheless the dress was beautifullllll. The pictures they sent really didn’t do justice and it fits very well I love the corset backing will need to alter the panel in the back. The bust specifically too I have to add more appliqués because you can see the built in bra. They did add a petticoat in my order for me for volume for the dress & some extra appliqués used on my dress in case I wanted to add any more to the sleeves which I appreciated. ( The sleeves don’t fit they’re to big and about 3-4 inches short in length. They don’t reach my wrist. So I’ll have to completely redo those with a different thinner & softer material used for sleeves).

Overall I am still very very happy with my order. Still cheaper even with the alterations & buying more fabric than a dress in store. Shirley and team did a great job on my dress. A long process and learning experience well worth it. Just keep in mind there is only so much they can do without having your physical body there for precise measurements/cutting so you may need alterations. Not a big deal for me but for others just FYI.

Lunss is honestly incredible. I have some unique proportions and always struggle to find trendy clothes that fit my shape. They have crushed it every time. I’m super happy with their work

Great experience designing my 'backup' wedding dress with LUNSS, it ended up being the dress I wore on the night! I wrote a full review on Reddit. Excellent communication with my allocated stylist Shirley, the mockup service is a must-add in my opinion to ensure a good or close-to good fit (local alterations might still be needed, as was my case). We had a little fabric snafu, and I happily accepted a discount for the trouble which turned out to be a blessing. I can't wait for an excuse to make another dress with LUNSS.

I bought my sister's wedding dress and it came out so beautifully. I say a youtubers video on Lunss, try them and loved them. Now I'm having my wedding and reception dress made by them.

I worked with Shirley to create my wedding dress, flower girl dress, and veil. Shirley is probably the sweetest person I’ve ever worked with! My dresses came out perfectly!! The process was seamless and any delays were solely on me in getting measurements. The photos truly do not do either dress justice!!! I highly recommend Lunss to any bride and I will be sure to tell everyone about them!! My tips for ordering your dress

1. If it’s a child try not to take measurements too soon. My niece is going through a growth spurt even her shoes are too small so I’ll have to re-order it.

2. If you do a mockup which I highly suggest take it to a seamstress so it can be adjusted properly. I didn’t utilize mine enough and now I’ll need alterations.

3. Requests a comb for your veil I didn’t realize veils didn’t come with a comb but that’s not a big deal to add.

All in all absolutely no regrets!! Thank you Shirley!!
