I absolutely adore this shop!! After years of struggling to find clothes to fit me or just something a bit different I spotted Lucy Lous on Facebook and have never looked back!! My main buys are the magic dresses and one size clothes and as someone who's size and shape change these always fit me and I always feel comfortable and confident in them. I usually collect from store but did a 1 day delivery yesterday as I needed a dress for a night out and delivery was prompt and on time. I've been in store too and the staff are so helpful and friendly and have helped me put together outfits I wouldn't have thought, it's always a lovely experience going there. I'll definitely be back!!

This top is fabulous - it's really lovely and very comfortable to wear. Looks great with trousers and being black, it goes with everything!
Must mention the delivery - first class! Ordered one day a day delivered the next - fantastic service.

Lovely clothing. Always a great fit. If you order before 3pm. Always get next day delivery by dpd.
I have a few items now, the palazzo trousers and I have just purchased a playsuit and a fake tanning mousse.
Only just put it on can already see a sun-kissed glow, i can't wait to see the results build over 8 hours! I dont think it will need that long. It also smells of coconut. Beautiful scent!

Bought a jumper from the store
Was informed I could not refund as I had tried it on fair enough
But first time I wore the jumper all the arm stitching has come undone
Really poor quality for the money
Certainly won’t use again

Placed my order Sunday evening received it Tuesday morning really please with the items, exactly as described on website well packaged, will definitely be placing more orders in the future

I'd never buy anything from here again, it's overpriced as it's not good quality. It's like cheap market stuff. Overpriced for the quality infact items I've had from Poundland were better and cheaper

I ordered a jumpsuit on Monday arrived today Wednesday. The fabric is beautiful and the length is perfect being only 5.2 I am so pleased with it going to get another one. Also the service was the best and wrapped beautifully would highly recommend.

Never normally bother but must say I love both items I brought great quality for the price will def be buying again!

Do not trust the sizing or quality as returns are basically not allowed!

This very greedy company are very misleading. As a large girl myself, Lucy advertises herself as a size 12 on top and sometimes a 12 on bottom! This is very clearly not true she must be at least a 16 on top and 18 on the bottom which there is nothin wrong with but she is absolutely a curve fit but classes herself as not fitting the curve range. This has lead me to purchase the wrong sizing twice now the first time I gifted it to a friend and now when I went to return my order of a few things (all the wrong sizes after the watching the lives) due to sizing being wrong / poor or the quality being awful and see through. It turns out the returns policy is basically non existent and you cannot return if they do not fit which is illegal! This company needs reporting to trading standards and also for selling knock off designer items! Can’t see the company lasting more than a few years as many people I know don’t return due to the quality.

Fabulous boutique! The clothes are good quality and reasonably priced. Lucy & the girls in store and at HQ are always fantastic and so helpful, will always go the extra mile to help you. I ordered multiple items, I am a large lady and buy from the curve range when I can size 18-20. Some of my items were fine and looked very nice, I bought some cargo stretch trousers size 16-20 and some stretch magic joggers in blue size 12-20, I have prior had clothes size 20 from here which fit fine. Both of these trousers did not fit I was unable to fully pull them up my legs and no way could I get them over my stomach. I thought I’d send them back, I new I would need to pay postage to do this, then I noticed on the tickets both said non refundable, this is something I was not aware of.
I checked the website/app/invoice and delivery note and it didn’t state this at all, so then I thought maybe it’s a mistake so I emailed the company to be told it is on the delivery and returns section on the website. Sure enough I checked and it was.
This has made me feel very angry who checks the return se toon first before making a purchase?I didn’t need to check delivery section as I had multiple options for delivery when I started the check out process.
This was not clear and I believe it should have been, it should be noted beside the product that is priced at £10 or under.

I then decided to check the reviews and found this comment regarding another persons order, where the company have said online orders you are entitled to a full refund as you are not able to see/feel/try on the item you are purchasing. I was unable to see feel or try on but have been denied the right to return because they don’t fit. I do feel this is against my statutory rights.

The sizing is massively incorrect on the 2 products I have mentioned, they do not go to a size 20, not only do I feel I have been wronged by not being able to get a refund I also feel they were miss-sold, had it just said one size and not that it went to size 20 I would not of bought them, the stretch on full stretch sadly had not gone to a size 20 , I measured the elastic on full stretch round the waist and it was 95cm then compared with other conversions like next and simply be and found there sizing was more generous. And with the other brands they allow more stretch of material
In the leg area also.

The lack of awareness regarding the refunds has put me off buying again, and there was only a few pound reduced from them.
They might fit one day if I’m lucky.

Another great purchase from the penwortham shop .. too much to choose from but Jude and Ruby helped .. lovely Autumn and Winter stock on show .. will be back very soon

I recently ordered off tiktok stupidly without reading the reviews from other women who had purchased from this shop and to no suprise they were right as the quality of the ‘magic dress’ was very poor and not worth the money. The material is awful and all the seams are frayed. Have purchased other items before from the website but sent back thinking it was a one off but clearly not.

Do not recommend, lots of similar boutiques cheaper also.

Such a lovely local business, the staff are so nice. The owner and her mum make you feel like you are friends with them. I ordered an orange daisy vest top, it's really lovely and delivery quick as I picked click and collect from their churchtown southport shop

I have ordered from this company a few times and always been slightly disappointed at the quality compared to the images posted on their social media. I often see the exact same styles in other boutiques and market stalls for much cheaper nothing seems to be originally anymore and as a bigger lady myself I can’t believe they charge more for the bigger size gilets compared to the smaller sizes despite the fact they have made all of their money off us larger women.

You will also find one of the shop owners to be very abrupt borderline rude with customers at times.

Edited to add - as per your reply I did not want to name you but it was you Lucy who was dismissive in the past and it is clear you have not taken into account my criticism. I am not the only customer to think this and many have mentioned they would no longer shop with you for the same / similar reasoning.

I can’t rate this Company highly enough. The clothes are beautiful and well made and reasonably priced. This company actually cares about their customers and wants them to feel happy in their own skin and look their best. Unlike other Internet companies, who don’t care what their clothes look like and whether they fit or not. Their Live videos, enable you to see the clothes on real people of different shapes and sizes. They have a welcome to the family attitude to their customers and will clearly go far. I will certainly continue to buy from this company and must confess half of my wardrobe is full of their beautiful clothes. Thank you lovely ladies for the time and effort you put into helping us look our best.

Sadly Won’t be using again .
I ordered online after contacting first to see what material an item was .
When item was received it was not as I had been informed so I contacted the company and was told if I returned the item all postage costs and refund would be returned to me as it was their mistake i have recieved a refund for the item and postage to send out but I have not been refunded for the return fee that I incurred to return the goods . Maybe an overlook but poor customer service.

Hi Lucy I have had no emails from yourselves and have had no problems with my email and this has been outstanding since 17th august . I have just received an email from Mollie and will forward my details to her . It may have been a small mistake but it could have been easily rectified .

I am so pleased that I stumbled across this great company this year. Their 'magic' dresses have seen me through from spring right up until now.
Delivery is quick and availability is excellent. Watching Tuesday lives on Facebook (and other platforms) really gives you an opportunity to see the clothes on various sizes and a chance to ask questions.
One warning!!!! It is addictive. You will love them and want them all. Keep up the greak work during the Autumn and Winter x
