Great Service by a local company
Lothian Domestic provided a great service. Information was regularly updated regarding our appointment. The engineer came with the anticipated spare parts based on his understanding of the problem saving time for everyone. These proved to be the ones needed. Scot was a friendly and knowledgeable engineer and fixed the problem very quickly. We would thoroughly recommend this business to anyone.

heating element replaced in oven
I needed the heating element replaced in my oven. I made the booking early afternoon and managed to secure a same day appointment. The oven was fixed within 2 hours of the appointment being made.

Engineer arrived within five time scale. Checked over machine and quickly found the issue which he then replaced the affected parts. Throughout the visit the engineer was professional while offering polite conversation. Really pleased with the service provided by Lothian Domestics Ltd.

Ross came within time limit given. He answered all our questions.
As well as the time set between 8am and 2pm, we received a text when he was on his way and gave approx time of 10 minutes, unfortunately we did not get the text till about 20 minutes after he'd left.

Regarding the text notification, we actually send both an automated call and a text message, using separate systems to maximise the chance of prompt delivery. In this case, your network confirmed receipt of the text within a minute of it being sent, so it appears there may have been a temporary network delay or a loss of signal on your phone at the time. Unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly messages are delivered to you after your network receives them.

Very happy customer, had 2 visits to fix Samsung washing machine to wait on a part, but Ross, then Scott came out to fix the problem. Both were first class, excellent at what they do, can't complain about anything, regular updates by text, highly recommend 🙂👍
