Once again, we had a timely and accurate series of translations done on important subject matter. We always have the support and advice at the ready and this recent piece was no exception.

Good and timley service

I was a little disappointed that we didn't get more out of the Discovery Workshop. The staff were really lovely and knowledgeable, however the follow up report took 5 weeks to arrive and is really just a summary of all the input my team provided, plus a pitch for more work. We have no money to undertake any of these things. I was hoping for more practical tips / advice to use straight away.

There was mismanagement by the account manager of the project that was being worked on. I could see the steps on our side being taken to be thorough and careful as it was complex and a number of translations across channels and assets. However, it appeared that once the account manager took to the production team it was incorrect and the production team went ahead and translated the wrong assets.

I would have hoped that a more senior staff member would have been overseeing the account manager and been able to step in to support this staff member after errors occurred at every step of the way. I think we could have also alerted senior team members earlier.

I will say that once more senior staff members were aware of what had happened they did everything possible to turn around the translations needed for a campaign launch and deliver in a timely way.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of misunderstanding about what was expected and when. This then meant that when things were delivered they were also incorrect. I think this was due to the account manager not having a proper handover of the expected deliverables and not clarifying things with the client if anything was unclear. We appreciate there were a lot of deliverables and things changed slightly however, this should have been better managed i.e. weekly WIPs implemented or a master shared WIP document tracking all the assets. I felt that I had to do most of the chasing and didn't feel like we had much account management.

We had a great experience with The LOTE Agency. The booking process was simple and helpful. The interpreters that attended our event were well briefed and incredibly professional. I will definitely use them for future events.
