Avoid like the plague!!

They used to be very good, until they have a high turnover of staff, do not return calls or emails and don’t take care of loyal customers. They are going down the panny big time, they will never get my money again.

I have never dealt with a company that is so useless. They kept asking the same questions over again. Gave up and went to an alternative company.

I didn't purchase an agreement, but Aslam was extremely helpful with my inquiry about a car I was going to purchase from a local garage near me. He was able to update me on the information that there was a debt on the car. Then they had an interest in the car A* service. I ultimately made the decision not to purchase the car because of his guidance.

Whilst their rates might be good, you can't access them. The online system still uses a dial up connection I think. Out of all the lenders their system hardly works, extremely frustrating when you have accounts with them. You know it’s bad when you feel relief once you start using Barclays online system….

This will be our last agreement with them.

In this place they pretend to have some class, but the staff lacks craftsmanship and knowledge of the restaurant business.
The staff doesn’t match the interior.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with ! We have had cars from Lombard for over 17 years sometimes up to 40 vehicles at once and they rob you with unjustified off hire charges. Have been fighting off hire charges for 3 years now and still cannot resolve. Take your business elsewhere we have

As a dealer you expect to trust a finance company when they say they have a customer for one of your vehicles.

Apparently I do not meet criteria so without telling me they go elsewhere and source another vehicle leaving me in the lurch with no forms of contact after two days. I had to ask them this myself.

Disgusting when you have put other customers off as you have sent an invoice to a finance company with a pretty much done deal. Do not trust them. If it was in your best interests they wouldn’t make you go elsewhere for another deal. Clearly the commissions are worth more than customer satisfaction.

Called 3 times to go ahead with a new agreement. I am also an existing customer. Was promised someone would call me but nothing happened each time.

The sales exec messed me around telling me finance had been approved when it wasn't.

Hannah at Lombards was excellent, the whole experience was stress free and an easy process with minimum to do from my end. The rates are very competitive and i would highly recommended.

We have been using Lombard for many years and find them very responsive to new business enquiries. Steve Maund reacted very quickly and we had a deal done and funds in place within 2 days. Alexandra Evans is also very good in Team 3. Post-sale service is not as good though, with only automated emails possible for early settlements, etc. A relationship manager who is empowered to deal with the customer from beginning to end would improve things however despite this lacking, overall they are a decent company to work with. Being part of RBS/Nat West bank means they are held to the highest standards.
