Not sure where to begin to describe our recent magical experience at Logie Country House for our daughter’s wedding.

From the very first visit Steph and Tim were so welcoming and hospitable, they were so relaxed about the use of the house and had some wonderful stories to tell about its history. The whole house has such character and it was amazing to have such an amount of space to accommodate our closest family and friends - everything has been thought of to cater from the very young to the very old and everyone in between no one could be bored whilst visiting Logie - the gardens are superb for a stroll on a lovely summers evening or fresh air first thing in the morning.

Our wedding planner/events manager Gillian, where do I start, the months of planning and putting everything together was made so much easier with your help and guidance - your advice was so helpful and ensured everything went to plan on the day - how you manage it I don’t know - just amazing!!! Gillian was on hand for every step of the way - the communication was excellent, the advice and tips for creating the most perfect weekend was invaluable we could not have pulled it all off without Gillian and the team throughout the whole weekend - Sophie was also so very helpful throughout the weekend it is clear she is learning from the best in Gillian. Can’t thank Gillian enough or praise her enough for all the effort she put into the whole weekend it was so very much appreciated and I highly recommend anyone planning their wedding at Logie to trust Gillian implicitly she will not let you down.

Hudsons catering - wow just wow, they did such an amazing job of all of the food the whole weekend, all the guests commented on the quality of the food on the Saturday and the Sunday - the presentation was just lovely and we had so much food that no one went hungry for the whole weekend that’s for sure….

Logie really is the most perfect venue for your wedding wether it’s an intimate family affair or a big elaborate event you can have it all here with all the best people to help to bring your dream to life. You most certainly will not be disappointed if you decide to host your wedding here it is the most romantic and exciting place to celebrate the start of your married life together - the dream wedding where anyone’s wedding vision can come to life - you most certainly will not be disappointed.

Go have that look round, go and see the beauty of the venue in all its glory I promise it’s everything and more you will be booking your big day as soon as you view it!!!!!

My wife and I had the privilege of getting married here, we both fell in love when we visited it and it certainly didn't disappoint.

We wanted an intimate setting to share the occasion with close family and friends. Logie didn't disappoint. We had just over 60 adults and 15 children (virtually all of the kids were under 6) for the day and evening with the vast majority staying at the house.

Pre-wedding Gillian had plenty of wee tips and suggestion for things to do and even for cutting costs, there was no push to up sell anything but we knew what was available.

The house itself is stunning, a rabbit warren of corridors and rooms with plenty of space for everyone. The grounds are fantastic and the highland cows were a hit.

There was the pool and cinema room that entertained the kids. The kitchen, annex and drawing room meant there was plenty of space for adults to socialise without anywhere feeling too crowded. In the evening the hot tubs provided some space for a more relaxed evening.

The house was well equipped, with everything we needed and more. Even the kids were very well catered for with Logie providing cots, highchairs and a few pool toys.

On the day Gillian and her team had everything in hand, it was an absolute dream. Whilst planned to perfection we had plenty of time to mingle with guest and the both of us even got half an hour to sneak off for a seat in the grounds.

Hudson's, the caterers, were on the ball, the food was amazing and there was much of it with some of the staff even entertaining some of the kids and managing to Coax my 3 year old in to the hall whilst we were having our first dance.

With a 12 o'clock check out the next day there was plenty of time to, tidy up, hit the pool again, spend some more time with family and share photos and stories from the day.

Whilst we joked about living our best Downton Abbey life, it wasn't far off. Only some butlers on the house would have made it better.

I would highly recommend Logie to anyone looking to plan their special day.

Such an incredible Venue! We fell in love with Logie when we first viewed it 3 years ago. Stef gave us a fantastic tour, she was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the laid back approach with everyone. Lila (Event Manager) is extremely organised, fun and super helpful. She made the whole day run like clockwork. We are still amazed on how well everything went and how unbelievably stunning the whole place is. It’s fantastic to have the whole venue to ourselves for 2 nights. All of the staff are fantastic and incredibly helpful! We can’t recommend this venue enough. Thank you again for giving us the most fantastic wedding!

We are not sure where to start with this amazing venue and staff. Since the first day we contacted Logie house, we were amused by their level of hospitality and care. Gillian took a good care of us throughout the months leading to our wedding day. She helped us with suppliers recommendations and ideas of how to run the day. She was also very flexible when we proposed different timetable to fit some of our Egyptian traditions into the day. They accommodated our requests and helped us to have the smoothest check in ever. Stef and Dave were very welcoming and warm with us during check in.

We haven't seen the venue before the wedding as we live in London and we trusted the photos and the previous reviews. The venue was way better than the photos. It was magical and charming place with a lot of attention to the details. The place was spotless. All guests enjoyed their rooms. The ballroom was stunning and the temperature was perfect. Hudson catering was also great and people enjoyed food alot. It was very delicious and staff were very nice and kind.
We had some worries about having an Egyptian wedding in a Scottish venue but it turned out to be perfect and we had everything exactly as we wanted.

I cannot recommend this beautiful wedding setting enough. We had 50 staying guests over our few days there and 150 evening guests. The house offered everyone the most homely experience with top quality comfort and luxury. Felt like a fairytale! From the warmth of the drawing room fire place to the outdoor hot tubs and courtyard, there was something suitable for everyone, including the kids entertainment room. The ballroom venue and grounds for our ceremony and party ouzed with style and character providing the perfect party setting for us and our guests. Our wedding planner couldn’t have got it more on point. Thanks for an unbelievable wedding experience and memories we will cherish forever. Logie Country House- the perfect choice…

Logie is an absolutely stunning venue and made the perfect setting for our daughter’s special day. The management (Stef & Tim) and staff are all first class to deal with and had the house and ballroom immaculately prepped for our arrival, to set such a relaxing and comfortable environment for us all to enjoy for the whole weekend.

The Wedding day at Logie itself was perfect and huge commendation goes to the Logie team for making everything run so smoothly - our event Co-ordinator was Lila, who’s relaxed, yet clearly “on the ball” and organised demeanour made it so easy and was the key reason for the day running like clockwork - very approachable, friendly and easy to work with and even managed to accommodate one or two strange “on the hoof” requests from us too!
Having full use of the house and all its facilities (eg. Swimming pool, hot tubs etc) for the whole weekend allowed our stay over guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings in an informal environment that’s so easy to enjoy - as far as wedding venues go, this one is definitely right up there with the very best.

We had the most magical day for our daughters wedding; effortlessly smooth for the whole occasion.

My wife and I got married at Logie Country House. Absolutely fantastic. Can’t recommend it highly enough. It was an intimate winter wedding and the house was warm and cosy with the fires on and Christmas tree up. “Best wedding we’ve ever been to” is what we heard from all our guests. Hudsons food and service was amazing. Can’t fault a thing. Already planning our 10 year vow renewal.

We decided during lock down that we get married and from the second we saw Logie, we just knew this place was perfect! Before we’d even stepped foot into the venue we were greeted by Stef, one of loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet along with Gillian who is equally as lovely and made planning our wedding so seamless. The house was our own for the duration of our stay and no question was too big or too difficult to solve. A wedding that clashed with a European semi-final and a Tim that went above and beyond to find a way our guests could watch it! The lead up to the wedding conjured up many a question and last minute worries but I was always able to just drop Gillian or Stef a message and my mind was always put right at ease!

So what about the venue makes it feel so special? Well, people aside, the venue is stunning, so much thought and effort has been put into making Logie feel like an amazing getaway for friends and family alike, whilst also feeling incredibly homely. The swimming pool was, throughout our stay, a great place for the bride to hide and spend quality time pre and post wedding with loved ones, the hot tubs also adding much entertainment to our guests with speakers made available by Logie to party your heart out!

The ballroom is in the barn just over from the house, this meant that those with little ones had more options when it came to bedtime and meant there was always a quiet space available in the calmer setting of the house to catch up and reflect should this be required. I worried a lot as I was making my own centrepieces but Gillian & Lila managed to turn their hand and make the most perfect venue to wine and dine! My guests commented on how they’d never felt so relaxed at a wedding! This meant the most. During our meal our dogs were able to roam around and the children had so much freedom to just be and enjoy the space which made parents of people and pets, really settle!

The caterers (Hudson’s) that Logie hire in, really do have fantastic food and you really will not be short at all …. Heed any advice about quantities from your wedding planner and expect left overs!

I could speak all day about our time at Logie from the beautiful grounds to the beautiful people Stef, Tim, Gillian & Lila all made my wedding day the best day of my life and I wouldn’t change a thing!

Logie house is just the best wedding venue in Aberdeen (and Aberdeenshire!). We've been to weddings at a few bigger and more pricey venues, yet had the best day of our lives at Logie. We loved every minute of the freedom, the totally exclusive use and Gillian the free wedding planner ensured that everything was amazing. Plus we massively enjoyed the hot tubs and swimming pool the day before our wedding. Amazing value for money and can't recommend it highly enough.

I have visited Logie Country House on many occasions now and have to say that it's my favourite wedding venue in Aberdeenshire! The location is beautiful, close enough to Aberdeen and yet feels like it is a million miles away! The staff are attentive, well trained and know what they are doing. It also seems to be the same staff each time I have visited, not staff brought in each time.
Drinks prices are reasonable and the bar is well stocked. The food is from Hudsons catering and has been great on every occasion.

I have also been lucky enough to stay in the Castle a few times and have really enjoyed the experience. The big kitchen seems to be the focal point and has been the location for many a late night drink after a wedding. Each room is different, quirky and well appointed. There is also a bunk bedroom for children and a "secret" movie room in the attic. Kids love it!

Looking forward to next week when I am there for another wedding!
