Marisa Murgatroyd is very knowledgeable and knows how to draw people in with sales psychology. EPM contains a lot of useful information. She and her coaches have a high likeability factor which is why her sales are good. Her guarantee is that you will launch a course and make your money back in 90 days or less or you get your money back- as long as you meet all deadlines and show proof of how many potential customers you talked too, i.e. fill out a spreadsheet and record the conversations.

This guarantee is mostly impossible to redeem for a few reasons:

1. The reality is - and Marisa is smart enough to know this- that we were so overwhelmed with long, redundant videos, live meetings, emails with completely different action steps than the course, coaching sessions with completely different action steps than the course, and bonuses that it was hard to focus on what to do next. There were several students in our group who were not able to finish the course and assignments by the deadline - which negates the guarantee. I think her MO is to overwhelm students with a ton of information to the point where they question their own sanity and capabilities when they can't get it all done.

Anyone who was able to get it all done, launch and profit has to be someone who came to the table w/their course already figured out and mostly done. PERIOD. I noticed that a large % of the students were elderly, 70+ years old and I'm sure that was intentional - to market to that age range hoping they would not be able to keep up the pace, thus negating the guarantee.

2. Even though I was able to focus long enough to actually finish the class assignments, I did not launch a course. It's impossible to finish the EPM course, sell the course and create a great course (in that order) in 90 days. Mostly because EPM is redundant and takes you at a slow pace until the very end, when the assignments get real. You will need to start with a mostly finished product OR you should already have an audience to sell to. This eliminates the need to spend time networking and cold selling dozens of people in order to get 1 - 3 sales.

3. You are strongly encouraged - not mandatory- to use their technology to create sales pages, email campaigns, and host your course. The technology is somewhat complex because it is very multi-functional and requires a learning curve, which you really don't have time to commit to in 90 days. You'd be better off using a much simpler product while you are attempting a launch. I work in IT and it was challenging for me - I can't imagine how the others felt. Again, I'm sure Marisa knows all of this which is why she issues a guarantee and pushes this technology which is supposed to be much better since it combines multiple platforms in one. While I was focused on the technology, I got behind on my cold selling which negates the guarantee. There is a weekly class that supports the technology, but again, the platform is so nuanced that a 90 min weekly class wasn't enough to help.

4. The coaching sessions, if you can call it that, consisted of 30 minutes of announcements, 30 minutes of additional teaching which sometimes contradicted the video lessons, and 30 minutes to answer questions from the team of aprox 60 people. Are you kidding me?

Before we could get into this course and prove that her concepts work, she was already trying to upsell us on the next thing.

Overall, I do believe the EPM could be a valuable resource to anyone who is attempting to launch as long as they have time to complete it. My low rating is because I believe a little deception and manipulation was used to draw in a large crowd. We were given the impression that it was doable even if we were starting from ground zero.

The guarantee, the timeframe and the supposed success rate doesn't add up with what we were sold. This is more of a "how to sell" course than a "how to market, create, launch, and sell" your course - which is what we were sold.

I paid $15,000 in full for the Momentum program by Live Your Message in March 2025. Despite paying in advance, I never received a single coaching session, onboarding, or tangible service. When I asked to withdraw and requested a refund, I was told there were no refunds — a clause that was only revealed after payment in a lengthy contract. I followed up several times, even after the company said they would review my case with their lawyer, but received no resolution.

While I understand company policies, keeping $15,000 without delivering any service shows a lack of integrity and compassion. I hope others will review all terms and seek transparency before enrolling.

The ultimate self-development? Become an entrepreneur. Momentum, Marisa, and her amazingly talented coaches will teach you, challenge you, and unquestionably support you to realize your business goals and dreams. But. Be prepared to work on your business and on yourself, AND know they've got your back.

I have participated in the Live Your Message program, EPM and the Lead magnet challenge. I am in my 3rd year working with her and her team. These are business development programs that align, what you do with who you are. I had tried for decades to develop my business. Marisa teaches business development on a whole different level.

This is my 4th year with Marisa in her Momentum program. I've gotten above and beyond value - doubled my business income, in fact - have definitely gotten my return on investment. I'm currently in one of her quarterly accelerator weekends - mind-blowing. What a great community. The archive of support material is over the top. 100% recommend!

Best course I've taken and walked away with the foundations of my coaching program.
I was part of the EPM 2023 cohort.
I'd been looking to create an online course for over 2 years, went through the initial touch points of many mentors out there, and then finally landed on Marisa's 5-day free challenge. It was the first time I actually zeroed in on the idea of my coaching program. She was the ONLY one who provided that transformation for me, for free, in 5 days that I was unable to achieve with anyone else in 2 years. After enrolling in the EPM program - which is rich not just in content but actually holds your hand through real transformations so that by the end of every lesson you have one block after the other of your business idea and execution method stacked on top of each other, and you walk away with a SOLID foundation. Admittedly, in the 'chatterbox' session of the program, I lost momentum because I had no audience, no presence, no social system in my new country. But that was not the program's flaw, it was mine. I skipped over that part and continued with the course to finish it in time. After the program, I did lose momentum, but when I came back to my work after a year, I was not overwhelmed, because most of the work was already done through the EPM program! The mindset shifts they help you with are also GOLD. Because as a new business owner - our mindset can take us up or bring us down.
I continued to build on the work I'd done in EPM, and launched my coaching program to the world. I highly recommend EPM to anyone seriously invested in starting online programs. It's the most transformative program out there. Once I hit 10k in sales, I am going back for the Momentum program for continued mentorship and support.

I registered on the momentum and epm program. They are kust so good in sales talk but when you go through the program it's so overwhelming that you can't keep up specially if you're working. They don't offer a refund and with momentum thst is so expensive, way expensive. You'll end up just wasting your money. I tried asking for a refund coz im going through a life changing event and they would not even consider that. Read the agreement and you'll see that it's more on their benefit than you as a customer. They have their money locked in but you'll be locked in with a huge debt with less than what you paid for.

I am writing this for people who are low on money and not certain if online courses are for them. If that's you don't do it. It's a big expense and unless you are ready to jump 100% into it and certain that you have an audience where you can start marketing you will fall behind and as the program advances it becomes harder and harder to catch up. The material is good but there are a lot of promises that I believe are not met. The guarantee is very difficult to get (impossible if you fall behind) and the private coach is also over sold. Your teacher has about 100 people in each group and you are one of those 100 people so they have very little time to actually help you. The feedback from my teacher didn't feel very constructive and limited in terms of the time dedicated to each response. All in all if you already have an idea, an audience and are looking for guidance on how to create the material and launch it then this course is for you. If that's not you, I think you should think twice before taking the risk.

EPM - WOW! Where do I begin?
First, I'd like to say that EPM filled in all the gaps for me when learning how to share my message to help others.

There was no vision, playbook, map, or direction as to how to plan out your content and execute it. I felt like I had paid money and received nothing in return.

I paid almost AUD 20k for a 12-month membership; that was not worth 1/10th of the money.

She is a great marketer, but you're left to your own devices regarding what works for YOU.

There is a lot of information available, but it can be overwhelming without direction or guidance to help you make progress, other than group calls, which are limited in value.

It's a culture of favouritism. They promote people who help their brand and exclude others who don't fit into what is useful for them. It's a very disappointing experience.

I would not recommend it at all. It does not provide substantive help and is full of froth and bubbles.

You'd better spend your hard-earned money on 'Bossbabe" or copywriting programs (like Talking Shrimp or Marie Forleo).

So many other course creators don't charge anything like this and deliver better results and a more enjoyable experience.

Fantastic value, a great balance of love and intelligent, actionable advice. And it's literally the best course I have ever taken! I see a couple of bad reviews of people who didn't do the work. Well, do the work, and you WILL come out of the other side of the course with a big boost in confidence, and a business asset you can move forward with and start earning with immediately. But you have to do the work!

This experience is great. I learned a lot about the market I want to be in, than never before. I am working on my product and even though I haven’t launched yet, I feel confident that my product is something needed for the niche I’m trying to serve. All my love to Marisa and her team. I just completed EMP and Live Your Message Live. The programs were very well thought through to get results. The exercises are both strategic and actually have you do the work that you need to do to move your business forward. LYML also is designed to help keep you motivated to get the work done. As an entrepreneur, I am constantly barraged by people trying to get me to buy this or that with just vague information in their lower-level programs to bait me to higher levels. Not so here!
The amount of quality, deep information she delivers has enriched my business already...and it's only been a week! Not to mention the friend I brought along is messaging me daily with new ideas when she has been stagnant and lost for a couple of years now.
Is there more? Does she offer her up-level? Yes! I would be disappointed if she didn't. Did I get more value than I paid for? Heck YES!
